This pharmacy is to be avoided at all cost. They are very slow with service. Drive thru time is a average of 15 to 20 minutes per car. They have made several mistakes with my fathers perceptions to the point of having him wait days and sometimes weeks for vital medications. Basically this place is a train wreck. The straw that broke the back was a former physician canceled their proscribed medication and they took it upon their selves to cancel his current physician proscribed meds also. Leaving him stranded and in pain for three days.
This chain takes full advantage of the rising cost of food. Went for a holiday staple in our family. Artichokes were $5.99 EACH. What a shame the poor farmers who provide them to the chain should be shocked by the profit they make off their hard work. RIDICULOUS
Hopefully I can attach the advertisement but these ads are all over the wine and spirits area. Nowhere in any of these ads does it say that only certain wines and wine sizes and champagne sizes apply. Meaning if you buy big or small it doesn't count. And there's no definition of big small or what they're asking for to qualify for their discounts on their wines and champagnes and spirits.
I went to get fish at 7 o'clock on a Tuesday night and there was nobody working in the Fish department. They actually told me that they had no one to service it so they would not be able to give me the fish I had wanted to prepare dinner for my family.
I recently visited the ocean view location while there I had to use the restroom. A girl came in and went to the stall next to me. She was wearing a green apron because I saw it hanging down when she got in the stall. Whole time she's smoking a vape. Which I'm highly allergic to. She was in there for bout 8 mins. I politely asked her if she could stop because of my allergy. She ignored me and just kept doin it. Than when she left. She didn't even wash her hands. Totally disgusting and so unprofessional. Do not go to this location.
I won't use Harris Teeter delivery on Instacar, again! I've used it 3 times & all 3 orders were awful! They arrived over 1 hr late, each order was missing multiple items & each order contained the wrong items! I won't use them again. The screw up way too much! They will reimburse me for their incompetence! I'm very, very dissatisfied.
The pharmacy at the Greensboro friendly ave location is great, but they tend to use terrible low budget cheap meds when they run out of stock. Sometimes it feels like there is no medication in the meds that you are paying for. They use kvk tech pharmaceutical for meds. This coming was taken to court for med fraud and they use them. Come on HT your better than this.
The cashier would say it's on sale when I said that I wanted to put it back. This resulted in me getting a high grocery bill. I won't be shopping at Harris Teeter anymore.
I find
The staff at Harris Teeter very courteous, helpful and professional. Your seafood department has several selections of wild caught seafood, which is very important to me. Having said that, I find myself preferring grocery stores that offer me complimentary coffee. I feel that's the least a high quality store can provide for their customers.
Your store at why 401 and tenten road in Fuguay Fariña is the worst managers in that store treats their employees like $#*!, and do not show the Harris teeter customer service to customers, they are very rude and act like they are forced to be there. Is it that store, it is just a miserable store to shop in.
They have one cashier and refuse to open a another even if there is a line. They would prefer you self serve. With their ridiculously overpriced items, fruit that is either bad or just old, and the audacity for them to ask me if I want to round up when paying. This company is a disgrace asking for money from their customers. Oh and the sushi... Don't even go there. Disgusting! I'm going to stick to publix
The food bar is open, again! I got noodle and veggies. I took my first bite which was unfortunately, a cayenne pepper! I had a severe reaction! It took me about 30 minutes to function after that one bite. There should be a warning label on the hot bar - when it's that spicy. My lining in my mouth is still messed up from the experience. So disappointing.
The Kill Devil Hills store has the worst customer service Manager ever named Allison. She is rude when helping customers and very nasty to her staff who works hard.
HT used to be the only grocery store i shopped at.
With surging prices and companies cutting costs by eliminating services, etc, i've taken my business to other retailers.
Harris Teeter self checkout is a disaster. It is overrun with carts and people. The checkout machines constantly stopping. You will wait for one cashier who is effectively manning 6 registers at once.
For the privilege of HT saving money by not fully staffing a store, YOU get to work there for FREE by ringing up and bagging your own groceries as well as putting your cart back.
I leave the cart or basket in the check out area. I DO NOT WORK HERE.
Out of paper bags or 3 paper bags available at a time.
Prices in some cases are DOUBLE other retailers with similar products.
Agree with other reviews, asking me to round up is audacious!
Harris Teeter is one of the closest establishments I can access, literally about a five minute walk away. It's very helpful for when I have to do grocery shopping, but by no means is this store perfect. On my previous trip to Harris Teeter a few days ago, I took a moment to look around the store and see the flaws this store has, and unfortunately, they are very apparent. The biggest one, however, is how very little the staff get involved with the customers. On good days, they will at the very least tell the customer "Hello!" and "Have a good day/evening!", but on bad days, they won't even look at the customer until approached. And that isn't even mentioning the lack of cashiers that normally work. More often than not, there will be at least one or two cashiers working the registers, but the customers will pretty much always be limited to the self-checkout machines. The lines for those will often spill into the aisles, and the cashiers do nothing to help with that. I can perhaps understand choosing the self-checkout yourself, but surely at least one cashier would step up and open their register for the growing line. Suffice it to say, as convenient as Harris Teeter is for me, I do not enjoy the service.
Prices have soared at Harris teeter, well above the 9.4 peak inflation rate, and are still rising. Some products have nearly doubled in price. I have scaled back shopping there and joined Costco. Some comparisons: Organic Chicken Breasts 13.99 per pound at HT, at Costco 5.95 per pound. Pork Tenderloin: 13.99 per pound at HT, at Costco 2.99 per pound. Olive oil for HT brand (which is likely not pure olive oil) is now 8.59 for 17 Oz bottle… multiply times 4 for 68 ounces = 34.36, at Costco it's Kirkland brand 68 oz $21. Deer Park Water at HT 24 pack nearly $8, at Costco for 40 pack 6.50. I could go on and on and on. They are certainly price gouging. Costco is bulk purchasing so it does require freezing of meat and such but that's ok, I can do that no charge. For non perishable items it's fine, I'll eventually use the product. My savings since I've taken this route have been over $100 a month and I live alone. So imagine what the savings will be for a family. It's more inconvenient as I have to travel about 20 minutes to travel so I just have to plan a little better to minimize trips, and for things I want but can't get at Costco, I now use Food Lion as they are considerably cheaper than Harris Teeter and while I don't really care that much for Food Lion stores, I'll tough it out since Harris Teeter is simply out of control with their greed.
Today I called Harris Teeter the store, the business office and the corporate offices, all of which cost me 2.5 hours of my work day. Guess what? I was able to speak with a manager at a store after waiting on the phone 45 minutes, and then being given the corporate office number. I waited over an hour, and no one would answer. I have tried to log into the HarrisTeeter.com site, and it is also a mess. No one answers their phones, and if they do and buck is passed to some other faceless person. They are pretentious, and they have no intention of helping you solve any concern whatsoever. They just want you to go away so they can get paid to do nothing. So guess, what Harris Teeter. You wasted my time and money today and for years. You are not convenient, and I will take all of my business else where, and I will tell everyone I know not to shop at Harris Teeter because the minute you have a concern, oh, well then all of your business through the years will mean nothing because they will not answer the phone and when they do the person who answers will have a quest to rob you of your time by sending you on a wild goose chase so they can pretend to be of service when in face they are USELESS. Do not spend your money at this store. Go to Food Lion, where you will be treated with respect.
Today I encountered an extremely rude, unpleasant, nosey, ignorant pharmacist I have ever dealt with.
He called my doctor asking him question. He lied, he belittled me, he intervened in my medication as if he was a police officer. I know that it is a very low volume store. The pharmacy there gets very little patients. I can bet that if also has very little customers count in that pharmacy and i understand why! The male pharmacist there called my doctor and try to get him to void my prescription just because we had a disagreement. I hope he loses his job for being such a nosey, unpleasant, ignorant individual. You just lost a patient that get over 3,000 worth of medications a month. And all becuase of a nosey prick.
Watch for their weekly buy 2 get 3 free. For the most part they are way ahead of any other store in any given area. Don't go there expecting to get any great deals on most of the other stuff, just the buy one get one free deals. If you spend more than $40, they have a coupon to take off another $5.00. Also, every day if you are a certain customer who is number such and such. You get all your groceries free. It did happen to me. Sorry i hadnt bought more that day.
Since the pandemic was declared Harris Teeter in Rock Hill, SC on Celanese Rd. Has consistently gone the extra mile for its customers. Whenever I go there employees are working hard to stock shelves and clean and serve customers. Recently the deli Mgr took extra time and effort to help me get the sale London broil when they were out and ensured I was satisfied. HT is now my store because of their extra efforts to help the customers. Thanks so much!
