My wife bought a canolli cake this past weekend and I am allergic to corn syrup and had a bad reaction. We read all ingredients on most everything because of this. My wife didn't read the ingredients because we have been buying pastries from bakeries for years and real bakeries don't use corn syrup so she didn't think with all the negative resech on corn syrup shame on harris teeter for using it and I won't be buying any pastries from them any more. Think before you buy corn syrup is not good for you many countries have banned it but because of lobbyists in Washington America is still using it. Sorry Harris Teeter otherwise you have a great store. A patron
Rude, confrontational aggressive dismissive ultimately requested I leave store when asked to sign receipt she decided satisfied the problem. Bad taste left. Last visit. Will miss their meats but not that behavior.
I drove from Oxford to the Harris Teeter to purchase a Whole Tenderloin as I do for family Birthday celebrations. Usually stop at the Creedmoor Rd store, but being on Falls of the Neuse, decided to stop at that store. Dwayne brought out 4 loins for me to see and help me decide the best one for my dinner party. Then He ask me if I would like for him to trim and tie it up. To say the least NO one has ever asked me about trimming. I am very appreciative, as I usually come home with that task to do. It was trimmed and tied to perfection. Please let Dwayne know I have told many of my friends about the wonderful shopping experience! G. Finch
I had a digital coupon for 4 x the fuel points for the purchase of a gift card. I purchased a $200 gift card but only got two times the points. When I asked the store manager about it she said to call the 800 number and press option three for customer service to explain the situation. She acted like that was the only way to get the 4 x points. If that's true they don't tell you that anywhere. I suspect it's not true. Anyway I called the number and immediately got a message that said "we apologize but we are unable to take your call. Please visit harristeeter.com or one of our social media platforms." Way too many hoops to jump through. I don't know that it matters but the purchase was from the store on Houston Northcutt in Mount Pleasant.
New Bern Harris Teeter on MLK in New Bern never has our 1924 Red Wine for some unknown reason! We've talked with the Manager and also the Manager at the bar. They both told us they had no control over the wine, that it's the Vendor. Anyway my thoughts, Foodlion always have the 1924 Wine.
I ran into my favorite HT last week for a couple of items. It was raining and I ran into the store and there was not one cart in the cart area and I went into he store to look for a hand basket. They do not put those out anymore. I guess they want you to push that 35 lb cart around for a gallon of milk. Go figure. Why not make it convenient for your customers. They are paying for it. I grabbed the items I needed up front and headed to he Seafood Dept. No one was there so I waited and a guy came up to the Butcher market and the guy behind the counter brought it over to the seafood Dept and got the seafood guy to come out and cut. All the while I am standing there holding my items in my hands. Finally after those two cut the meat for the guy, the seafood guy asked who was next and went directly to the two females at the butcher Dept. I am pretty put out at this time. Finally after my hands were starting to cramp he asked if he could help me I asked for a lb and half of cod. He grabbed a big piece and came up short so he grabbed this little flat piece that was obviously past its prime and I asked him not to use it and find me a thicker and better piece. Done there I went to the front to be rung up. Only two cashiers and the Manager was standing in the aisle talking to someone. The lines were going through the aisles. The self checkout was backed up past the Starbucks. Forced to push the big cart, not paying attention to your work area, first come first serve, running out of brand items and filling the shelves with HT brand and charging more than the name brands because you can gouge your customers, selling old pieces of seafood, more ice than crab meat at 69 a lb, prices more than the cost of inflation I do not think that I will be visiting again, WholeFoods and Publix will serve me just fine.
Myself my girlfriend had terrible experience on Christmas Eve 2020 over a cake from the bakery he was threatening me and my girlfriend screaming at us and told the clirck office to call the cops on us and he was in my boyfriend's face told my boyfriend to go $#*! Himself and get out of his $#*!in store and he has his family and friends write good reviews about him but me and my family personally think he should be fired he is an embracment to Harris teeter and should not be working in retail at all!
Warehouse is rationing supplies causing the shortages. The STORE should limit quantity per customer so all can share NOT the clusless warehouse.
Since the pandemic was declared Harris Teeter in Rock Hill, SC on Celanese Rd. Has consistently gone the extra mile for its customers. Whenever I go there employees are working hard to stock shelves and clean and serve customers. Recently the deli Mgr took extra time and effort to help me get the sale London broil when they were out and ensured I was satisfied. HT is now my store because of their extra efforts to help the customers. Thanks so much!
Always long lines at checkout because of only one cashier. Hate self service because it's too difficult with fruit and vegetables.
You people need help in pharmacy. Location 265 Eastchester dr. High Point, NC. Gone there twice in one day trying to get prescription. Was not ready either times.
Tell me why an average trip to Walmart in the Outer Banks can be less stressful than a visit to Harris Teeter? Walmart, customers respect social distancing, properly wear protective facial mask covering, employees engage those who do not and customers at Harris Teeter seem to be superior or ignorant to the requirement of such and employees are oblivious to or just don't care? It never fails every time I enter the store, customers enter the front door, right in sight of customer service representatives and unless they are called out on such, watch in silence. Tell me why someone in line has their mask under their chin using the scanner for the credit card that the next customer is exposed to whatever they may have? Even calling the cashier out on such behavior and requesting sanitizing of the scanner treat you like you are the criminal in this insanity. Don't get me wrong, I love Harris Teeter, but the sign on the door states, "mask required." So why isn't it enforced for the customers who do shop at their store especially with compromised systems. Really, is it too much to expect, guess the answer to that is an affirmative yes, civility went out the door a long time ago, so shop at your own risk.
I WOULD LIKE TO COMMEND THE FOLLOWING STAFF AT STORE #129 SEAFOOD DEPARTMENT: ROBIN, ANTONIO, DAN, ROBBIE, KEN, ED, & MICHAEL FOR THEIR EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! THIS SEAFOOD DEPARTMENT IS ONE OF THE CLEAN & FRESHEST DEPARTMENTS IN COMPARISON TO ALL OF THE HARRIS TEETER SEAFOOD DEPARTMENT. I HAVE WITNESSED THESE EMPLOYEES ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION CLEANING THE AREA DURING CLOSING AND HOW THEY ARE CAREFUL ABOUT HOW THE HANDLE THE FOOD AND THEY ARE ALWAYS SO COURTEOUS AND POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL AND YES! EVEN FUNNY... SMILE :) YOU HAVE A GREAT SEAFOOD DEPARTMENT AND A GREAT! HO GOES BOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY. MY PRAYER IS THAT THEY EACH WILL BE REWARDED FOR THEIR OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK GUYS! YOU DESERVE THE BEST AND THE BEST IS YET TO COME!
I was an excellent employee for Harris Teeter and was not allowed to move up due to gender discrimination.
Good service care for customers nice workers good employees love to shop there for food and products when I need help they help
Boycott. This company sucks. They don't support to military or the people who died for this country who gave them the freedom in which they stand.
Store manager Andy is not fit to run a popsicle stand. He is very rude, angry and disrespectful. He is always confrontational with customers. He needs anger management before he, a customer he is consumed with confronting or one of the employees gets seriously hurt. He continues to think he can verbally attack customers unprovoked but when you have bitter uneducated trash that is apart of the GOOD OLE BOYS AND GIRL'S NETWORK within H. T and a district or area manager LeAnn that refuses to address the way customers are treated this is what happens.
You can say no all day long. It's how you say no. Policy is great but talking to paying customers that respectfully have the audacity to speak up for themselves like they are garbage is unacceptable. LeAnn needs to check the audio and video of her store manager Andys' confrontational interactions with customers. He has been nasty since he first started. He did not even try to be nice even when he first started as manager. Usually people do a better job hiding who they really are and then eventually you start to see under tones but he has been nasty and miserable from day one. This individual needs to be monitored. He is probably the reason for all the turnovers since he took over. The employees are rude and nasty to customers because the store manager Andy is rude, nasty and argumentative and a terrible example for the rest of the employees, Poor excuse for a manager.
I really like this grocery store it has a lot more variety of foods I can't find anywhere else and there stores are always so clean
