Tell me why an average trip to Walmart in the Outer Banks can be less stressful than a visit to Harris Teeter? Walmart, customers respect social distancing, properly wear protective facial mask covering, employees engage those who do not and customers at Harris Teeter seem to be superior or ignorant to the requirement of such and employees are oblivious to or just don't care? It never fails every time I enter the store, customers enter the front door, right in sight of customer service representatives and unless they are called out on such, watch in silence. Tell me why someone in line has their mask under their chin using the scanner for the credit card that the next customer is exposed to whatever they may have? Even calling the cashier out on such behavior and requesting sanitizing of the scanner treat you like you are the criminal in this insanity. Don't get me wrong, I love Harris Teeter, but the sign on the door states, "mask required." So why isn't it enforced for the customers who do shop at their store especially with compromised systems. Really, is it too much to expect, guess the answer to that is an affirmative yes, civility went out the door a long time ago, so shop at your own risk.
