Placed an order for some light bulbs on October 28. It is November 8 (9 business days and 11 calendar days later) and I still haven't received them. I called DHL (the original delivery service selected; DHL said once the bulbs arrive in LA, they will hand off to USPS), and I was told that it was "in transit" and was expected to arrive on November 14 (15 business days--THREE WEEKS--and 17 calendar days from date of order), "because that is what the Seller selected for delivery." Sorry, but for $7.99, for a few light bulbs, HardwareAndTools.com could/SHOULD have sent USPS Priority Mail and it would have been here in 2 days. Will never do business with them again.

I had a very good experience. I needed rubber feet for some chairs to protect a wooden floor. As usual, it's hard to know exactly what you're getting when you're buying a specific sized item that you cannot touch beforehand. Big-box and little hardware stores don't have these items in-stock or even online! However, having found the exact size via careful measurement, the product I purchased was a perfect fit for my chairs. The black rubber feet are of high quality and do not leave any marks on the wooden floor. Also, the packaging was easy to open (I ordered 25 sets of 4) so I didn't go crazy when it came time to actually use all of them!

We are not happy with our product, it looked like a nice product, and probably would have been, except that the items we ordered were flimsy and one back broke off.We ordered decorative push pins for hanging a sketch. I am EXTREMELY unhappy with the delivery time also. I read the notice that said it would take a few days extra for special orders. But two weeks is insane! I ordered on a Monday and didn't receive our order until the following Saturday. With a few days "extra care" and priority mail shipping I expected this to be here by Wednesday at the latest. We will never shop here again.

I purchased a T Hinge based completely upon the picture represented on your website for that item because I needed a very specific screw hole configuration that was depicted in the photo. Upon receipt of the hinge I discovered immediately that it did NOT match what was depicted on the website for that item. Yes, customer service provided me with a return authorization number but I would not get back my shipping cost either for the original order or the return... not worth the monetary loss on shipping so I've just kept the item and will not be shopping from your company in the future.

I found the search function did not work properly many times. After waiting a week from time of order and the order not yet shipped, I called customer service. It turns out they were awaiting receipt of the balance of one item to arrive before shipping the complete order. I asked that everything but the item they were awaiting be shipped, and said I would pay the extra shipping for next day delivery. I did indeed receive that shipment the next day, and the remaining balance a couple of days later. Customer Service did well to get everything to me asap after I called. It would have been good to have had some feedback before a week went by about my order being delayed.

Their prices looked good, and their freight charges were free over $49.00, so I decided to give them a try. Ordered 3 items first, and several days later, I found myself calling them to see why these so called "Rapid Ship" items had not been shipped out. They said, "our warehouse is awaiting the items." More time went by and I became fed up with them. I cancelled my original order and also cancelled another order that I had placed with 5 items on it, which they also could got get into a box to be mailed. I don't recommend them to anyone.

I ordered 4 cases of canning jars I could not find anywhere else. I called the company to ask if they had them in stock, they returned that call and told me they had over 70 cases. Which was good because I had placed my order an hour prior. Today they canceled my order stating that;
We are sorry but we have cancelled your HardwareAndTools.com order due to either unexpectedly high demand or a supplier's inability to replenish goods on their normal schedule. We delayed notifying you since the Product(s) appeared to be available when your order was placed. We have attempted to order them from alternate suppliers, but despite their commitments, have been unable to source them.

Wonder if they will be relisting them at a high price point in a few days. Or did they have them at all and lied? Either way not a company to be trusted.
