They arrived early after a phone call asking if that was ok, which I appreciated because a 12-8 window is crazy when people have lives. The guy that installed my bed arrived, he was nice enough and he was hard working, and he did a very nice job with the install. I was very pleased with his work. The stars on my review are a direct reflection not of the person who did the install. There was another guy that showed up about 15 mins after the first guy arrived with a clip board and said he was with Handy, which was confusing and I told him at first he was double booked because the guy was already in my house working. He explained to me he was there to kinda oversee the job, so I let him in and he handed me a piece of paper to fill out. Then started asking me all kinds of personal questions, which made me feel super kuncomfortable. As I floated around my house doing my daily chores he just kinda sat around my house and it was bizarre. He wasn't helping the other guy and wasn't even in the room helping him - it felt off. Thankfully, The contractors who are working in my backyard showed up and then he left so I was like thank God. He ended up coming back towards the end of the job and again just milled around my house. He did end up helping the other guy at the very very last five minutes. But it was awkward for me at that point- I saw no reason for his presence here. Lastly, when they left, they left a huge mess on my carpets, like those little annoying styrofoam balls everywhere. I had to vacuum the room that they worked in and the leading hallway. I paid $190 for this service. Every other contractor that's ever been in my house for various reasons fully clean up after like they were never here. It was disappointing. I won't use them again.
Would definitely recommend, use this company for various services. Bed setup, furniture and handyman services.

I highly recommend reconsidering before engaging in any transactions with Handy/Angi. Our experience with their Haul Away Service, arranged through Walmart, left much to be desired. Despite Walmart indicating that the service was complimentary with a mattress purchase, the "professional" sent by Angi exploited the situation, demanding an extra fee under the pretext that King size mattresses were not covered. He insisted on a $60 payment, asserting that this was a discounted rate from the supposed standard $120, and warned of potential additional charges if the mattress was returned to Walmart.
To add insult to injury, the service provider urged me to approve an extra 1 hour and 45 minutes of comp time, even though the entire job took a mere 5 minutes, during which I assisted in loading the mattress. Following this incident, I reached out to both Walmart and Angi, and both agreed that such charges were unwarranted. While Angi committed to refunding the haul away fee, they refused to reimburse the $60 paid to their "professional."
Despite numerous attempts through calls and emails, it appears that Angi lacks concern for their customers, casting a shadow over their business values. I strongly discourage anyone from availing of their services to avoid falling prey to such deceptive practices. What's particularly concerning is that the individual responsible for this incident is still permitted to offer services in our residence, highlighting a lack of accountability. Instead of terminating his employment, Angi chose to let him continue, potentially scamming the next unsuspecting customer.
Moreover, the frustration was exacerbated by the offshore customer service, making communication with Angi even more challenging. Conversations with representatives in India, following a repetitive script, added to the overall dissatisfaction with the company's handling of the situation. Angi should strive for improvement in both service transparency and customer support, and reconsider the impact of their business practices on consumer trust.

Answer: They don't provide a refund, even when they fail to honor the agreement. In my case, they have twice (so far) canceled my house cleaning with one hour's notice. (If I fail to give 24 hours notice of cancellation, I have to pay a penalty. For them, no notice, no penalty.) They told me they were having trouble finding cleaners in my area. And if the no shows are a problem for me, I can pay the $99 cancellation fee. So how long does this go on? Three cancellations, five, ten? Forever? This is an irresponsible company with horrible customer service.
Answer: Im having problems getting paid. I told client to have cash on hand as I wont do the job. Good luck finding someone else with my skill set. Im supposed to do a job tomorrow that i have to buy stuff out of my own money and hold my breath for pay back. Ill stand on a corner begging for money before I do another job for them unless they pay me for past jobs and I talk to someone on the phone.
