I ordered furniture online and the company paired up with Handy for in-home installation. The whole process was easy and the pro they sent was professional and super courteous.
Booking online was easy. Asia was my Pro and she is wonderful to work with. She arrived promptly, and was courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. I'd ask for her again!
I enrolled for a move out cleaning after seeing add of these guys in google. The person who was supposed to show up did not come after they kept me waiting for an hour. I have complained it multiple times and finally, they rescheduled it after two hrs and they disappointed me in that effort too. I ended up paying a lot more money on finding help the same day since the next day was my move out day. I have decided to never once go with their service and emailed the same to them to which they apologized and refunded my money. I don't live in that apartment anymore and now they scheduled a recurring cleaning service without me actually asking for one and when I tried to explain to them that it's not fair to charge me because I don't live there anymore and I have never requested for service after going through one horrible experience with them already. Now they are charging me 100$ for the service I never took in the name of the cancellation policy. They don't have a customer service number, they don't have a proper application, they don't provide good service. They are just too horrible. I took the pain to write this review here because I don't want someone else to go through the same $#*!.
Assembler well done! Excellent professional! The only issue was they cancelled my first book, but the professional contacted me, we rebook and everything ran fine!
Set an appointment for ceiling fan installation and no show no call. You can't call them its all email only. Bought fan from Lowes and no one will answer that phone either. They both su%k

I have been a handy pro since sept 2021 and have been charged fees on my account for no reason. They claim its due to clients calling in and saying i didn't show. Im convinced they are scamming me. If you don't show up to a job you get charged a fee understandable but once you confirm via phone and text with client check in to the job and make a report of client not home that should be the end. They scam with paying there pros. I had a job for a outdoor patio set the client said he paid $480 for assembly and i only got $64 dollars. After trying to contact Handy and letting them know i did show up they blame it on there GPS not being able to show i was at the clients home to set up. I would stay away if you need anything assembled. I have did over +100 jobs with handy and this is the third time i have been charged a fee for no reason at all. I have lost over $1030 due to them taking fees and once they claim the client says the pro didn't show they cancel all jobs for the next 3 days. They don't care about there pro's and don't care about the customers as well.
I purchased a closet system (4) pieces and was sent 4 different installers (1st flag) 1st installer was a female 5 stars to her, she knew exactly what she was doing and did a great job. 2nd installer canceled :(!
They clearly was not PROS; my husband and I had to redo a complete side called customers service no harm intended but they are all in the Phillipines and very hard to understand. I still don't have a response to my issues and money down the drain! NEVER will I ever recommend or use these people services again. Drawers were installed in the wrong place & off line; closet was mounted with wood for stability entire closet was off balance. Big gap in placement of shelving. Installers acted as if this was the 1st closet they had installed. Read instructions and still "JACKED IT UP" like I said NEVER AGAIN! STAY AWAY! SIDE NOTE: on their personal website they have ALL 5 STAR REVIEWS... so unrealistic...
Booked a cleaning with Handy and it was great! Site was easy to use. I was able to book a cleaner 2 days out. Cleaner was hardworking and professional. Would definitely recommend!

The house looked great when I got home! She was very nice too. Unfortunately my vacuum wasn't working so she used hers! So grateful. I would recommend Gina for sure.
I scheduled three monthly cleanings, they offered me 78$ discount in all of them. I selected a few pros and scheduled my cleaning day. They changed the scheduled pro on the day of; and did not tell the pro what was requested and paid for. She kept asking me what was needed, and I understand that she did not know what was paid for but I do not want to go check everything and see if everything I paid for is done when she is still working on them. Wast majority of the items, including the fridge cleaning I purchased extra was missed. I do not blame the pro, just so we are clear, but Handy as they clearly never communicated with the pro as what was needed and paid for. Handy charged me 1.5 hours more than what she worked on, and they also removed the 78$ discount they promised to apply for those 3 cleaning. After a long back and forth, they promised to refund my credit card for the first cleaning, however did not commend on why they removed the initial 78$ discount they had promised. I told them I do not want to use their service anymore, and please cancel my next two subscriptions, and they initially said they want to make it right and I can change my schedules for no "extra" cost; and never responded to my question on why I see 78$ increase on the rates and request on cancellation. This is major money trap! I am telling you, go to another provider like Thumbtack; but never use this Handy services. If they do not cancel my next two cleanings, they are planning on charging me 260$ twice for again another 2 horrible experiences. Run and do not look back!
The pros are the babies and the money they make is the candy and handy is the one doing the taking. Honestly, worst customer service. All emails now seem automated and it takes a minimum of two days to receive a response. So, I hope you like investing a month of your time fighting false fees. I wouldn't suggest handy to anyone. Consumer or contractor. You'd stand a better chance at receiving excellent customer service from Saddam Hussein. I would say that Saddam is a better example of what integrity looks like when you compare him and his regime with handy. Go figure, some snob business men in New York went a little too hard on the caine one night and now the world is cursed with handy. Honestly, there needs to be a class action lawsuits against them. There must be so much money counted as their revenue that is unaccounted for when you look closely. I know I'm not the only one who has been paid for work I haven't done or not paid for work I did do. Also, if you are considering being a pro for handy just know that you are the customer service for the customer and yourself. I would rather run naked through a field of cactus than make the mistake of becoming involved with handy.
Twice now, I have had scheduled Handy - twice they have failed to show. Will not answer phone. Called Handy and they refuse to call their pros.

They seem to have electricians with violent backgrounds. I had to report him to the authorities. The company doesn't seem to care but I have cameras everywhere so I had evidence.
This company limits its communication with its contractors to email which when answered is usually too late with answers not associated with any questions asked. IF YOU HAVE A CUSTOMER FILE A CLAIM YOU WILL BE DE-ACTIVATED NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
Handy is awful awful awful. First, you can't speak to a real person it is all via email and they send people out to do the work before the a/c even arrived even though I told them it had not arrived yet -- so they not only waste my time but these poor guys who are trying to do the installation. Then when I canceled the order THEY WILL NOT REFUND ME. They said they need the invoice and even when I send it to them they still WILL NOT REFUND ME. Just a shambolic and shady place. Avoid at all costs.
I had purchased three ceiling fans and an entry hanging light. To be installed in my home. I was told that a pro would be here on a Friday. No show, no calls. Had to set up another appointment. Pro came in on a Tuesday put in two ceiling fans but came without a ladder tall enough to reach my 14-foot cathedral ceiling. I had been very explicit that I had cathedral ceilings in one room. He left and didn't come back the next day as he had stated. Got another Pro in on Thursday. He came in put the 14 foot cathedral ceiling fan and the entry hall light. Unfortunately, when he turned the electricity in the house, he failed to check that all outlets were working. Two days later, I found that the electricity going to my freezer in the garage had been off for two days. If I had not gone to get food from the freezer at that time, I would have had a very expensive LOSS of food. Also, the electricity to my dryer was not turned back on either. Now I may have to call another person to come in a work on getting my dryer back on. All this in one word has been Frustrating.
Afraid to admit you are not a customer friendly service. Your website is rife with traps for innocent people to fall into and you are just a money hungry startup

Answer: They don't provide a refund, even when they fail to honor the agreement. In my case, they have twice (so far) canceled my house cleaning with one hour's notice. (If I fail to give 24 hours notice of cancellation, I have to pay a penalty. For them, no notice, no penalty.) They told me they were having trouble finding cleaners in my area. And if the no shows are a problem for me, I can pay the $99 cancellation fee. So how long does this go on? Three cancellations, five, ten? Forever? This is an irresponsible company with horrible customer service.
Answer: Im having problems getting paid. I told client to have cash on hand as I wont do the job. Good luck finding someone else with my skill set. Im supposed to do a job tomorrow that i have to buy stuff out of my own money and hold my breath for pay back. Ill stand on a corner begging for money before I do another job for them unless they pay me for past jobs and I talk to someone on the phone.
