I bought ATV mount and paid extra for this service. A father and son team came over and did not complete the work told me I didn't have the full package even though it came out of the Box. Told me to called them when I had obtained them but later found them hidden in they Room I asked for them to hang that TV. Total scam if I had their information I would report them to the police.
My Handy Pro Allen was a lifesaver. I was unable to assemble a 72" TV stand and decided to obtain a professional. I contacted Handy and was assigned Allen L. He was diligent, focused, and considerate in his task and did an excellent job in assembling this piece of furniture. Allen L. Is the new pro that I will use in the future.
I heard about Handy through one of Mikayla Nogueira's posts on Facebook and I thought I would give it a try. Alberto was AMAZING! He put my murphy bed together for me today and he did a fantastic job! There is NO way I could have done that myself. I will definitely be using this service again! HIGHLY recommend!
Issue adding time for our pro. Didnt work. Ni phone number to call and speak to. The rate I paid for 2hrs. Work was over $100.00 the pro only got $30.00 paid from the app. That is absolutely ridiculous. Support hard working people, find another way than this app. That takes advantage of them.
I was pleased with Brandon's efforts in putting together an elliptical trainer and recumbent bike. He put both together very quickly and accurately. I was able to get service completed within the same week of requesting as well. The price was right and I was pleased with the service. And - he wore a mask the whole time he was in my home (as did I while he was there).
The good cleaners don't stay long. They price you on the size of your house by the approx amount it will take but the cleaner will leave early when all the light surface basics are done (they don't stay and clean baseboards, wipe window seals etc. so you don't get your money's worth). I had this happen on multiple occasions. I called and had the hours reduced, but somehow the app reset itself and my last appointment was back to 4 hours with the cleaner leaving early?! Handy reminds you via text about your booking just short of 2 hours but you can't cancel or reschedule within 2 hours, so you just lose your money; it is EASY to lose track of bookings (and I REALLY thought I had canceled - so if you cancel or reschedule, make triple sure the app settings saved). I have for sure canceled Handy now and will hire a cleaner directly. Skip the over-paid middle man.
Cleaning service text one hour before appointment to reschedule. Two days later, they text LESS than an hour to reschedule, again. Handy.com is difficult to contact to complain. They know how to make it difficult. Beware. Do not use them.
Albert is amazing. He did all the deep cleaning that I never have the time to do. He scrubbed all the walls of my house. Got rid of all the spider webs. Scrubbed all the floor boards and cabinets in the kitchen. He worked his butt off and I couldn't be more appreciative. He put in elbow grease as if he was cleaning his own house and the Queen of England was coming over:-) I will for sure be requesting his services again, only next time, hopefully, he won't have to work AS HARD. Thank you Albert for an amazing job!
This is really substandard in terms of cleaning services. I believe they would allow anyone to go into houses and do "cleaning" whether or not they had experience. The cleaners don't necessarily stay for the time you pay for, and they don't seem to have a grasp of basic cleaning things (like cleaning to the back of a countertop). The cleaner you get isn't consistent from visit to visit. One cleaner moved things from room to room to the point I couldn't locate things and when I asked, she blocked the conversation so I can't reach out to her further to try to find where she put my things. Handy has been trying to reach this "professional" also with no success. Look elsewhere for cleaning services.
The professionals hired by Handy to clean my home work on schedule to leave my house clean and leave me and my dogs very happy. I look forward to many more weeks working with a house care worker I like and trust.
Handy was horrible. I was moving into a new home. I booked the service a month out. They canceled once because the tech had an emergency, then a second time the tech was sick, the third time they canceled and finally said we don't have a tech in the area. Why reschedule if you don't have anyone, say so from the get-go. Now I am left scrambling and they think the $20 credit they gave me is going to bring me back. Don't ever use them
This was a difficult job. Michael looked things over and went to work.
Michael was extremely polite, and he knew how to install and hook up accessaries. He bagged up unused parts that I will need when I move in about a year. Extremely pleasant fellow. If there were 10 stars I would give him 10 stars.
This is the first time that I used Handy! Patrick arrived early and was very friendly and professional and completed the work in a timely matter. Very happy with the service and will use in the future.
The handyman rescheduled the appointment minutes with short notice. I paid for a two hours' plumber service and the handyman wanted to charge extra, in spite the job was done in an hour and a half. I waste another 30 minutes with the customer service. The plumber threatened with undoing the job if I wouldn't pay him $100 extra.
My washing machine is behind a hot water heater and dryer. Elon was able to get in there and pop the hood off. He had to run to the store and when Elon came back it only took minutes to fix my problem. I was so relieved that he fixed it and never so happy to do some laundry.
Such a great idea. I got a ottoman bed from wayfair and wanted it assembled so I paid and then got all the info about Handy it was so easy to change the dates as I was taking longer to paint the room! Such a lovely man that came so polite and efficient. Such a good and simple way to get a good handyman. Would highly recommend
House cleaner emptied an entire carpet cleaner of water on my carpet and didn't tell me. I had made no request for carpet cleaning. After pulling 2 1/2 gallons of water out of my carpet, I had to pull up the carpet, throw away the padding, have a plumber come to check for damages and have carpet and pad reinstalled.
After almost $300 to repair the mess, handy sent one reply offering g me a $25 credit in my next cleaning. They have not responded to multiple requests for a call and resolution. Bad form!
Tried signing up as handyman and lawn service and the app would not work. Would not allow me to update my profile. Customer support would repeat the same instructions that would not work. I cancelled my account and wish I had never given them my information.
Handy is a very professional company.
I have dealt with them in the past and their entire team from office and the team they have out in the field are very polite and get the job done on time and smoothly.
I heard about Handy.com from a co-worker & was pleased it was part of Angi.com. My tech Ronnell was excellent & tackled my entire to-do list of 6 small tasks in 1 hrs. He showed 10 mins early & was courteous & professional. Highly recommend this reasonably priced service provider.
Answer: They don't provide a refund, even when they fail to honor the agreement. In my case, they have twice (so far) canceled my house cleaning with one hour's notice. (If I fail to give 24 hours notice of cancellation, I have to pay a penalty. For them, no notice, no penalty.) They told me they were having trouble finding cleaners in my area. And if the no shows are a problem for me, I can pay the $99 cancellation fee. So how long does this go on? Three cancellations, five, ten? Forever? This is an irresponsible company with horrible customer service.
Answer: Im having problems getting paid. I told client to have cash on hand as I wont do the job. Good luck finding someone else with my skill set. Im supposed to do a job tomorrow that i have to buy stuff out of my own money and hold my breath for pay back. Ill stand on a corner begging for money before I do another job for them unless they pay me for past jobs and I talk to someone on the phone.
