My experience with the dishwasher installation technician was TREMENDOUS! Christopher B. Was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and quite a perfectionist. He cleaned up his workspace and made sure the job was done accurately. Thank you Christopher!
They charge an enormous $99 cancellation fee. If a customer changes their mind for amazon subscribe and save program they don't penalize the customer. This HANDY service is disgusting and will be reported in every social media platform and attorney general letter and BBB
Amir was very professional and nice. He followed all the safety procedures for Covid He took his time to make sure the bed was put together just right. I was so impressed that he put a queen over queen bunk bed together by himself. He made sure we were happy with the finished product before he left. Highly recommend!
Dont do it, you email them, they dont respond and when they do, its one time and the problem still not solved.
The cleaning people dont come when they should, I tried to cancel my program, Due to bad service, and they want to charge me $99.
I had two cleaning people that did a good job out of 6 people.
When email my problem, all they have to say is if i cancel its $99.

I'm convince they treat their contractors terribly, because they treat their customers terribly. Their support is non-responsive and lack basic customer satisfaction skills. Deleted the app and will never use them again. Take the time to find a local cleaner you can pay fairly.
Canceled on me twice 45 mins before for my apt for move out cleaning. This pushed me all the way to scrambling to find someone over a weekend to have my move out cleaned before the 1st of the month. Wasted days of my time and my tenants could have moved in early which means money lost. They credited me 10 dollars for my troubles but yet they have a 25 dollar fee for their customers if they cancel within 24 hours. I really didn't want money or credits, I wanted my service so that I didn't have to take even more time waiting for them just to cancel. I wanted my rental could be cleaned. Super unreliable.
I attempted to schedule a house cleaning with Handy. The first two appointments were canceled by the "pro" with just 30 minutes' notice. The next one was also canceled. Finally, the fourth one showed up but my confidence level was very low. Handy customer service was not much help.
Ryan was the representative from Handy to install our large Entertainment Unit. Ryan was awesome,... He was very experienced, thorough, knowledgable, and efficient as to the task at hand. I would recommend Ryan for any detailed work you need done.
I scheduled an appointment for a playground piece to be put together, they canceled 2 hours before they were supposed to handle the task. I had sent pictures of how far I had gotten done with it, they suddenly didn't have a tech who could do it. Not like it was a surprise I sent pictures. If we have to cancel within 24 hours so should they! Ridiculous and the heavy sighing on the phone because I demanded a refund instead of rescheduling was ridiculous! I wouldn't go through them again if they were paying me for their services.
The tech, Jeremy S., arrive on time and was extremely helpful and courteous. The grill assembly took longer than expected due to a faulty (brand new) propane tank - leaky valve - that I provided, not part of the equipment provided by the grill manufaturer. Though clocked out of the job, Jeremy stayed over an extra amount of time while Lowe's replaced the propane tank. Throughout the process Jeremy worked diligently to get the work completed and made sure that I was satisfied by the time the job was completed. I highly recommend him to anyone using the Handy service.
We hired Handy to hang a large HD tv and they canceled and rescheduled on us 2 times and refused to give our money back and said we could use the credit for something else so we chose housekeeping... they just canceled the housekeeping and rescheduled! This company is a joke!
Definitely would recommend the Handy App and Audra specifically based off our first experience. I feel much more at ease starting the week with a nice clean house! Audra made a great first impression and the house looks great too!
I work through Handy Pro and I always do cash out now but I've been waiting for almost 4 days for 4 cash out now payments. I've never had a problem with Handy Pro paying me. I've always received my money within 3 hours. I've talk to numerous customer service people who said they have sent my money but my bank says they haven't received anything through Handy. I work and I do a great job so why can't I get the money owed to me
I applied for handy pro a month ago to work. Gave my social security number & all info. They say my background check is pending. I have never been arrested, clean records. There's no excuse for this. I believe I have been scammed
The app's internal messaging doesn't work consistently. So, "your pro" may texts 'I'm here' the customer may or may not receive the message in a timely way. Also, when the app alerts you to a newly received message, the link provided does not take you directly 2 the message itself but rather to the homepage of the app and frequently does not display the message at all. There is also no way for both Pro and customer to confirm through the app that the appointment has started in both of their minds there for pros are able to check in once they have quote arrived in your area. What's the phrase in your area seems intentionally vague and designed to expedite payment to Handy itself while bulking the customer down in a chain of form emails, then I tell your instincts are pretty good. If your instincts are pretty good, don't bother with this app there are many others providing similar services without the persistent inconsistency.
I booked a house cleaning through Handy and when I spoke to the company that was supposed to do my house cleaning, they said that they don't even deal with Handy, didn't have me on the schedule and have had several complaints from customers booked through this site who have the same issue. Or get paid thru them. I canceled my CC payment right away.
You can not contact them apart with emails but they won't let you call them which is not surprising seeing how bad their service is.
The cleaners are not doing a good job and I know as I tried a few. That is if you're lucky enough that they don't cancel on you 30min before the appointment, again that happened to me a few times in a row.
I would not recommend their service and probably never use again! Go to Housekeep.com they are much more reliable.
This is a company they Wayfair is using. I have now taken off work 3 times because a Professional did not show up as scheduled to assemble my Armoire.
I called, and they pretty much told me oh well.
Absolutely the most unprofessional company I have ever delt with.
I purchased a playscape from Walmart.com and they had Handy come out for assembly. This was the WORST experience I have ever had with an assembly company. The first contractor demanded money to finish the job, the second contractor cancelled less then 12 hours before the job was scheduled, the 3rd contractor also demanded a "cash deal" to finish the job, and the 4th contractor said he had put one of these together before, but it took him over 12 hours and I found cracked pieces, and a box of wood that was thrown away after he left. I also found missing hardware and beams that were not assembled. He also assembled several pieces backwards. The playscape is unsafe and has to be returned after WEEKS of fighting with this company to get it assembled.
Handyman came to assemble and mount Wayfair furniture. He assembled it wrong, including drilling extra holes because he was putting it together with parts upside down, so the pre-drilled holes weren't where he expected them. He also drilled several holes in my wall then left without finishing the job, so the furniture was left on the floor and my wall has random holes in. Complained to customer service when I got back from Christmas family visit and they went back and forth for weeks and then told me they wouldn't give me any refund because "too much time passed". So I paid for the privilege of having my furniture and home wrecked!
Answer: They don't provide a refund, even when they fail to honor the agreement. In my case, they have twice (so far) canceled my house cleaning with one hour's notice. (If I fail to give 24 hours notice of cancellation, I have to pay a penalty. For them, no notice, no penalty.) They told me they were having trouble finding cleaners in my area. And if the no shows are a problem for me, I can pay the $99 cancellation fee. So how long does this go on? Three cancellations, five, ten? Forever? This is an irresponsible company with horrible customer service.
Answer: Im having problems getting paid. I told client to have cash on hand as I wont do the job. Good luck finding someone else with my skill set. Im supposed to do a job tomorrow that i have to buy stuff out of my own money and hold my breath for pay back. Ill stand on a corner begging for money before I do another job for them unless they pay me for past jobs and I talk to someone on the phone.
