This is my first time using handy to install my new television on the wall over my fireplace. Diego contacted me on the day of install. He told me what time he will arrive at my home. Diego is it true professional neat,clean, and very friendly to work with. He showed me how to use the functions and told me the best angle to use while sitting on my couch. I would recommend Diego to anyone looking for a true professional!
Handy.com is fair and offers special rates, periodically. I really like that they make accommodations for tasks that fits your lifestyle that is not found with other service providers! Handy customer support persons will help you find the right pro if you contact them detailing your needs. For example, they found me the right man for the job who can multitask…hanging items and assembling furniture in one job! I will continue to use the handy.com pros to meet my future needs.
I hired someone to put up a fan and change out a couple of light switches through Lowes. The guy they sent was from Handy.com. When he left, the lights didn't work. I immediately sent him a message asking him to some back. He ignored my message. I contacted the company, again crickets! It went on for a week, me asking them to send someone to remedy the issue. Finally, I had to hire another electrician (wish I had done that in the first place!). He had it done correctly in 20 minutes. I have contacted Handy several times in the last 4 weeks for a refund. The people on the "chat" are always helpful, but then nothing ever gets done. I have sent all the paper work into the company for a refund, the email address the chat person gave me. Again, three weeks later... crickets. I will never hire this company again and suggest no one else does. (I understand that Angi has bought them out. Maybe they are the problem.
I contacted Handy to hang a pocket door. Their installer attempted to do so then advised the co the door was defective. This was a lie. I had to get another contractor to do the work. Be careful they want the money up front. Thus you are their mercy.
Right to the point. Handy scheduled 4 different times to hang a mirror. All 4 times, exactly 1 hour before scheduled arrival received text "sorry have to cancel...(some excuse). This morning, I sent Handy an email wanting them to confirm my appt. For today. They confirmed. Again they cancelled. About an hour later a guy called me and said he say my job posted on Angie's list. If Handy can confirm my appt. For this afternoon, why is my job posted on Angie's list? Very simple... THEY LIED!

- Flake out on me 5 times within the same week.
- Hang up on me when called to demand an answer
- no way to call customer service unless you demand them to call you
- they delete all your messages with the pros as soon as the scheduled time of service is past, even though the pro never show up. Leave you with no track record to follow up
I recently had Nest tell me I needed an A/C person to come look at my A/C. My cooling was dropping off and needed repaired. They scheduled the service, the time, took payment, everything went smoothly. Then 12 days later and 3 rescheduled appointments later during a heatwave, I called and canceled. Come to find out they didn't even have anyone in the area who could do it and never called me to tell me this. They were just going to indefinitely schedule me to eternity. Do not use! Scam service!
I used handy.com before and while it was a little expensive, I had no complaints. I recently tried to.use them again and the cost was $100 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. I used task rabbit and paid $40 instead!
Handy.com is a very convenient business, especially for those seniors who can no longer do the simple tasks that we once did. The professional that was assigned to our project was so efficient, courteous and very professional. He performed the tasks we required easily, and cleaned everything up after he was done. I highly recommend Handy.com, and especially their professional Angel L.!
Wayfair uses Handy for furniture assembly. Handy scheduled for 9am. But in order to communicate with the person you have to create an account, download their app and log in. Not customer friendly. The Handy "professional" contacted me after an hour saying they would be late. I had to keep contacting them after each hour and they said they would be coming. Finally after six hours the app stopped letting me communicate because it assumed the job was done. The Handy person never showed up after six hours. You can't speak to anyone at Handy, only email. They apologized and gave me refund and a $10 discount on my next service order. Needless to say I will never use it. This is an awful company for consumers, as is clear by the reviews. I will be contacting Wayfair about this as well.
This is the second time I've hired Handy.com to assemble furniture - Each time, the pro did a great job! Mitchell W. Did a great job assembling deck furniture. Very impressed! He was on time, very knowledgeable, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. Thank you!
I attempted to assemble this gem solo and right out of the gate Wayfair had mislabeled the parts. Instead of a return, I scheduled David with Handyman for the job. David went above and beyond and I was satisfied with his efficiency and quality. I'll definitely be using Handy=David for future complex projects!
The handy man arrived when scheduled except for a traffic problem. They were friendly efficient to get the job complete. Even added another job which they were very helpful and efficient. They helped move the heavy stuff to the garage which is a life and back saver.

Handy rescheduled my TV installation twice. Both times less than 24 hrs prior to installation time scheduled. Handy has no respect to customer or his/her time. Handy taking orders without a plan or ability to execute them. Handy has no phone support. IOt seems Handy was happy to cancel my order over the chat. Handy has a Happiness Guarantee slogan. Be aware - it is Unhappiness Guaranteed.
Terrible customer service. The app is unreliable, books the wrong days, no way to reschedule easily, no phone number! Charged me for 2 cleanings that haven't happened. Can't cancel without paying $200. I'm in touch with my housekeeper outside the app and what they email me is directly opposite of what they email her and vice versa.
Andrew was amazing. Showed up on time and did a great job putting together entertainment center and mounting TV on the wall. He went above and beyond to finish the job on time and final result was outstanding! Definitely recommend!
Efrain was more than perfect. He was professional, knew how to fix everything I asked. Worked fast & good. Prompt and accurate. Gave me ideas, stayed within the time allotted. The job was perfectly completed! Very skilled. Not only that he rescued me under shatter glass from a divider that fell on me. He helped me to clean and take the shattered glass to be disposed. I don't have enough words to express how good worker Efrain is.! The best!
Was skeptical at first but making an appointment was very easy. Was surprised to be able to make apot for the following morning. Price to replace kitchen faucet very reasonable. Matt showed up on time after keeping in communication with me and replaced the faucet in 1 hour. He was very polite and efficient, no problems whatsoever and I'll use Handy.com again.
Had an individual from Handy come to my home to assemble a wardrobe. The handy man Omitted a piece that should have been used in the assembly of my armoire, and found the piece in the box to be thrown out(with the page from the instructions) Also, the doors on the armoire were reversed. Did not realize that this had happened till he was gone. Called Handy.com to get things rectified. They did refund me but, I started having issues with the functionality of the doors so I had to have a handy man come to try and fix the issue. Unfortunately they could not put the part that was omitted because they would have had to take part of the wardrobe off to get it on. Will think twice before I hire someone from this service again

I made an Appointment to have my dryer vent cleaned. I was assigned to Kirk. He was promptly on time, identified himself, masked for Covid and friendly. He had all the supplies & equipment he needed.
Kirk was professional, had knowledge of his job & was done with efficiency & respect to my property as well as my ‘new' dryer. (I probably didn't need a new dryer. I needed the vent to be cleaned)
I have used HANDY.COM to move & for my plumbing needs. I have been mostly pleased with their services.
Answer: They don't provide a refund, even when they fail to honor the agreement. In my case, they have twice (so far) canceled my house cleaning with one hour's notice. (If I fail to give 24 hours notice of cancellation, I have to pay a penalty. For them, no notice, no penalty.) They told me they were having trouble finding cleaners in my area. And if the no shows are a problem for me, I can pay the $99 cancellation fee. So how long does this go on? Three cancellations, five, ten? Forever? This is an irresponsible company with horrible customer service.
Answer: Im having problems getting paid. I told client to have cash on hand as I wont do the job. Good luck finding someone else with my skill set. Im supposed to do a job tomorrow that i have to buy stuff out of my own money and hold my breath for pay back. Ill stand on a corner begging for money before I do another job for them unless they pay me for past jobs and I talk to someone on the phone.

Answer: Wayfair is also a scam. It's just a matter of time. They are a middle man to hundreds of businesses. They sell products regardless of whether or not the product is available or in inventory. Eventually people will catch on...
