I ordered a costume as a gift for my 7 year old nephew, and even paid a little extra for faster shipping. Almost 2 weeks later, I still haven't received the costume (not the fault of HalloweenCostumes.com). I had checked with UPS and USPS, and somewhere between the two of them, my package was lost. I called HalloweenCostumes.com customer service to get some information needed to fill the "missing mail" claim form through USPS, and the customer service person I spoke with offered to send the same costume out again, since it was obvious the post office lost my package. She was very kind, understanding, and sought to resolve my issue as quickly as possible! I really appreciate her taking action to get me the costume quickly, rather than me having to file the claim through the post office and HOPE they locate it! This is how customer service should be!
Ordered a costume and the sizing was completely off, several sizes too small for my child. They don't do simple exchanges. Charge 18% restocking fee, yet claim to be a small business. Long hold times (55 customers ahead of me when I called). The person over chat couldn't help me, told me I had to call. Called and there was a 55 person wait. The lady told me she would provide "fun bucks" in my account to cover the restocking, which didn't happen. This place is dishonest and a complete waste of time and money. Do not order from here.
I had to return my costume. During this process I learned that there's an 18% restocking fee plus an additional $7.99 (return label fee) that will be deducted from my refund. I was suppose to receive my refund by the 20th. It is now the 31st of October. I called customer service & the voice message stated that I'm calling after business hours. It was 12 noon! I proceeded to select the email option instead. The site took me to a blank page that displayed the company's name, but no email address. I do not recommend anyone buy from this company! It's not trustworthy.
Item never arrived! Driver claimed I signed for it on a day I wasn't in! I even got police reference number but they didn't care. Refused me a refund and I am disabled so left me out of pocket. Disgraceful. Avoid at all costs!
Purchased costume which took about a month to get here. Costume wrong size so was unusable. Whilst they did offer a refund they only gave me a week to return to USA plus I had to pay return postage. Just ridiculous. Won't be using this company again.
This is my second year ordering from halloweencostumes.com (2 purchases, 1 rental) and I couldn't be more pleased. This year I wore the Deluxe Kansas Girl costume dress to two costume contests and rode my horse twice in it (total of 4 hours riding). I got it really dirty and it came through the wash just like new! I am short waisted so I shortened the front and back straps so I didn't look too small in it. It has a really nice full skirt, lots of layers. I had a little extra room in the waist which was nice but the cuffs at the sleeves were very snug but I do have very muscular arms. I got so many compliments and really enjoyed being Dorothy this year!
Horrible customer service. Charged me high price for Priority Shipping and then shipped slowest ground shipping method. Tried to contact them to resolve it, they would not budge. Horrible is also small word for their customer support.
Paid nearly $200 for daenerys costume. Dress was cheaply made from two different colored fabrics. Dress was not accurately represented in pictures and customer service refused to waive 18% restocking fee. Not cool.
Ordered item for Christmas delivery 'guaranteed', as I paid for express shipping, they cheaped out and sent it regular ground and it will not be delivered until nearly a week after Christmas. Placed the blame on FedEx and said we can make a 'claim', which is BS, and the best we can do is refund you 25% for the inconvenience. My daughter is going to be very disappointed and I will never buy here again based on this experience and their customer service. Stay away!

I love HalloweenCostumes and FUN because of their amazing prices, good quality products, and the "Made by Us" line of costumes. I became a fan little over a year ago and some of my best costumes and cosplays are from this company. If you love quality for a good price, then this is the store for you! Don't forget to sign up for the member's rewards so you can get points for gift cards!
Their costumes are awesome! Great prices and the quality of the costumes are great too. I had a problem with one accessory arriving broken, but customer service quickly took care of that! No questions, just sent me another one! I highly recommend this company!
When shopping for a child they should be more understanding that sometimes it is hard to get the right size on the first try, every child is different and having to pay for the return and restocking fee as well as having to wait 2-4 weeks for the refund if they even approve the refund is a joke. I will not be recommending this company or ever buying from them again. Had to give one star in order to right this review but they are not even worth one star!
This costume was better than I expected. Arrived on time and in good condition. Comfortable and the quality was great. Awesome details on the vest! The skirt was a little long but I just rolled the top, I'm very short.
I ordered this costume for my 4 year old using their measurement chart, the costume I received was 6 inches shorter than stated and the arms were longer than the legs. I paid extra for shipping so I could have it in time, now my kid has no costume and I have to wait god knows how long for a refund.
I ordered some costume boots for my son that needed to arrive by a certain date. Halloweencostumes.com processed the item quickly and in time. I would definately shop here again. The boots were also a very good price and my son loves them.
I was nervous after reading a ton of horrible reviews, but I have nothing but great things to say! The kids of course wanted to be something that we couldnt find anywhere! Ordered on Wednesday night at my door on Friday afternoon - and we live in Canada too! They fit great, are great quality and weve already had a ton of compliments! Highly recommend.
Love the costumes from halloweencostumes.com we went on a Disney cruise in October of last year and we got costumes from here and we loved them! We are also going on another disney cruise in December and we have ordered pirate costumes! They are so cute! The picture attached is from Halloween last year.

Answer: From my experience, I would definitely say this website is reliable. We ordered our costumes and received them (of great quality) within two business days. I personally used PayPal to buy them, but I do this with every website (that allows) just for extra protection.
Answer: Hi Monique, I've had this same problem having them ship to Australia, turns out that the 'FedEx' tracking number they've given us is in the confirmation email is actually a UPS tracking number. Hope that helps!
