Deceptive business practices to defraud customers! We found out the hard way when kayak refered us to them and we booked a flight for our family of 4. When the flight got cancelled they put us on another flight where no one could sit next to each other- and we have 2 young children. When we asked for a cancellation and refund they simply said the "airplane's policies did not allow for it." They will revert to this tactic when it's convenient for them. Don't become a victim.
At the time of booking round trip international flight their website offered me to purchase a piece of check-in luggage luggage for $90. They did not specify that this is only one way. Airline carrier SAS charges $75 one way and $150 round trip. Even more disturbing - GURUFARE did not indicate pre-paid luggage in the ticket, and I have to call them and email them a couple of times. I recommend not to buy any additional service from them, or better off to use another reputable agency or purchase directly from Airline. It will be cheaper.

We booked a flight with them back in July 2022 and they completely changed our itinerary by shortening our trip by 3 days. We've tried multiple times to contact a live person at the company, which has proven near impossible. I feel like this company is a complete scam.

My mother requested a flight for her. I was looking through many websites when I came upon Gurufare. I had a lot of fun on their website, and it always offered what I wanted, such as vacation packages, hotel reservations, and vehicle rentals.
We are experiencing the worst escenario, one minor form our party of 5 was recorded separated a d he airline is not recognizing the reservation. This people are scammer. They robbed me of my airline credit that meant to be used for another reservation. The Agent Sunny told me repeatedly that I have a credit worth of $1600 from the missed flight and after 3 weeks after I called to make another reservation using the credit he told me but only to find out that I have no credit says by another agent and agent Sunny also denied our conversation. Do not book from this people or site it's a big scam. I guess they used my credit for another person to get some extra money in their pocket.
Now, they are trying to defend themselves and I ask them why didn't they pull up conversations between me and agent Sunny where he clearly said I have $1600 credit. They failed to do that because their mission is known to them.
Guy don't fall victim of this guys, they are scammers.
Be informed and don't allow them to scam you..

I frequently use gurufare for foreign travel. Support that is steady and dependable at all times.
What a wonderful firm to work with. Their degree of expertise is outstanding. Pamela responded to all of my questions and did her best to present us with more alternatives, including many carriers and a range of prices.
I booked a trip with them using their consultant, specifically with the option of cancellation, if needed. A full month before the trip, I approached them for cancellation and they denied it. Vague answers and dodging every attempt. Do not use this company. It's fraud.

Excellent customer service! My ticket is satisfactory to me. It's something I'd suggest.
1. The seat when I booked the ticket shows as the first row, so I paid to reserve the seat, but I figured out it was a seat in the middle and had a horrible flying experience. 2. I then asked customer service for a refund, but your website's customer service is a robot and never fixes the problem. 3. I have to give up the refund and focus on having customer service to help me ensure a first-row seat on my returning flight. I can pay for the extra, but they didn't help. They say they can't help. 4. On my return flight, the second flight was canceled, and I didn't get any earlier notice until I went to check-in. The staff couldn't find the flight, which was another horrible experience. I will never buy air tickets from this website.

I've used them twice - first experience was initially good - they got me a good flight at a good price - a little better than I could find on my own. However, after purchasing they kept harassing me with probably a dozen phone calls and even more emails trying to sell me their travel protection package and other upgrades. It was beyond annoying - I had to threaten reporting them to get it to stop. I had kind of forgotten about that - which is why I did try them again.
The second was horrible and I will NEVER use them again. I kind of assumed that their agents are on commission - but did not expect them to straight-up lie to get a sale. Which is going to cost us a fortune now. Long story short we have a baby we are taking on this trip - and when we booked we did not have her passport yet - so we could not book her as an infant in lap without her passport. But I was assured that we could easily add her later once we had her passport. When we finally have her passport - I went to add her and they say sorry the only way we can add her is as a full fare adult ticket. Or we can contact the airline directly. And of course we are flying on multiple airlines so we will have to pay to add her to each leg rather than just to the overall trip. But it gets better - once we try to contact the airline - they say they can't yet because Gurufare has not uploaded our passport info yet - even though I had sent it to them 6 weeks prior...
There are far too many other options - avoid this one at all costs!
