It`s a scam!
I was hunting down a handbag I wanted, but it was always sold out.
I bought 1st row membership.
Page says:"sale starts in 4 minutes"
If you push on " add to bag" button
It says:" we just ran out of this item"
But sale did not even start yet
BEWARE! Some of the items on those sales are don`t exist. I guess they are trying to attract more customers this way.
I`ve joined the wait list on some of the items. Since my membership fee is non-refundable, I`ll try to buy them anyway next time. Will be back with update.
Yes, the luster has worn off this "gem". Interesting concept and the deals were good... in the beginning. Now, well, my advice is to move on. Sure, sign up, give 'em your email and get flooded with more useless junk mail and then try to "opt out". Psst... they don't understand "opt out". Nonetheless, this should be a "pass" for you! There, you've been warned.
Just got my first order in the mail. Everything was there and it came right on time, as they said. Plus I had been tracking the packages constantly due to the poor reviews. It took a month to get here, which I knew would happen at the time of purchase, but that's still a while for a bowl and some utensils. And $9.95 for shipping each time definitely keeps me from buying more.
However, I absolutely love my items! They're exactly as the website described, and very unique.
I just ordered a pair of shoes as well, which were wonderfully discounted. It's already being shipped, according to the website, but this tracking number cannot be found. I'll wait a couple days and see if the item ends up at my door. Hopefully.

I bought a weekend getaway to Niagara Falls. Scheduled my visit for 11/21/14. In the few days leading up to that Friday, the Buffalo area got hit with eight FEET of snow. The New York State Thruway was closed. No way to get through Buffalo (we were coming from Rochester), I had to cancel my reservation. My fiance and I are both 60 yr. Olds; not smart for us to be trying to navigate through snow covered roads that the NY State Police say not to drive on. I contacted Groupon to see if they would help me get a refund due to these extraordinary circumstances. Their reply; "read the fine print; no refunds". Think they would at least work with me to get an exception to the "no rescheduling" restriction? Like we already told you; read the fine print. I'm out about a hundred bucks, and Groupon will never get another dime from me.
They have the WORST customer service! I am currently on hold with them, and recording says my wait will be at least an hour!
I have been trying for DAYS to process a return, but their site just keeps saying the following:
OOPS! Groupon Goods is temporarily unavailable or overloaded. Please try again in a couple minutes! Yeah right! How about trying back in a couple weeks?
What absolutely crappy service! I bought some earrings that look very nice on their website (3 different pairs), and when I got them, they are so small I don't think they'd even fit an infant. Now I can't even return them.
Sure, they state that they take returns, but that's just because they won't respond to their customers requests, so they never have to take returns or refunds.
This experience cost me $115.00. It will be my last purchase with Groupon!
Stay away. I seriously hope they go out of business. I wonder how they can even survive in this competitive market. It usually takes about 3 weeks to receive items.
My previous order, which was missing for some reason, arrived at my place after two months. And this last order, which was ordered for my mom, was supposed to be shipped on 10/29 or 10/30, and all of a sudden, the shipment is pending. The customer service representative responded as if it's not their problem, it's more like the manufacturer's problem. And that's the reason why ideeli is able to offer products at such a low price. F--- you. Never going to come back this website ever again in my life.

There may have been a delay with the USPS or UPS when the delivery was being made if the package had been shipped by us for two months. When an order shows as "shipment pending" it means that the order information has been sent to our fulfillment center and they are working to pack it up and check the order before shipping. Sometimes it can show as shipment pending for a few days if there are any issues found while they are packing up the shipment. I'm very sorry that your experience with our customer service wasn't as pleasant as it should have been. I hope that this package has been shipped out or that you've been notified of the status.
Part of the reason we can offer such reasonable prices is because we don’t keep any inventory. Instead, we work directly with the manufacturers, who ship to us, and then we ship to you. This can result in a longer wait time than you may be accustomed to, but it also ensures a high degree of quality control, guaranteed authenticity, and those great prices. It can take items longer to ship because we don't have all of the item we sell in stock and we provide an expected shipping window with each item to ensure that the expected shipping window meets the needs.

Paid for car valet. Buyer has to phone to make an appointment. Phoned three times over a week. Answerphone every time, left messages and nobody returned the calls. Fortunately I had paid through Paypal and they organised the return of my money. Needless to say, no apology or contact from Groupon.
I have been using Groupon for years now and it is no longer worth it since you need to wait 7 business days to get your credit back even when you are unable to reach out to a merchant. Groupon's policy has changed and will be losing lots of customers. I tried to contact customer service and the person was so rude he closed the chat on me after telling me he was sorry not giving me time to say anything else.
I should have done more research on this site before signing up, let alone buying anything. They have cute clothes at a reasonable discount, but their shipping is absolute $#*!. I ordered a single dress... a month ago. I just got an email that my billing information has been received but nothing has been sent. Absolutely frustrating. I'm going to assume I won't get this dress for another 2 weeks (minimum) and hopefully I will be surprised. Doubt it.

Buyer beware! My daughter-in-law purchased 2 $25 gift cards as Christmas gifts. When we went to use one of them, the card had a remaining balance on it of only $5.32. Evidently it had already been used by someone.
It is astonishing Groupon is in business. I made the mistake of buying a Groupon, and the merchant was appalling. Groupon sent me a review link that didn't work—that can happen, but their response to the matter has been astonishing. Trying to deal with their "customer service" is like banging your head against the wall. They did absolutely nothing no matter how many times I contacted them, except waste y time with unbelievably idiotic replies. I have wasted almost two hours dealing with agents who are either illiterate or beyond incompetent, who are incapable of even identifying the problem let alone fixing it; all they seem able to do is waste as much of your time as possible; whatever money you think you'll save you will lose dealing with the usually shoddy merchants they promote and their relentless negligence
I get email with promo codes, but when u try to use them they don't work. My question is why do you advertise promo code with items which are not eligible... This is all fake and just trying to bring people shop thru their websites...
Ideel was really something special and I was a frequent shopper. The brands were gorgeous and the customer service was excellent as well. I also have credit left on the site that I have no idea how I will be able to use unless I wind up with a head injury. But if that day comes, I'll take the Suzanne Somers 3- Way Poncho in hunter green. And one of those bracelets that says, "sisters are angels whose wings turned into chocolate because they flew too close to the ground or some crap."
I have bought a few things off groupon and it was such an amazing deal each time, IO have never had a problem using them! I would recommend this site for whatever your needs massage, vacation, restaurants or anything!
I have purchased many "local deals" which turned out okay. However, I have purchased 2 groupon "goods" with less than satisfactory results. The first, never came (they told me the only option i had was groupon bucks for a refund)... The second... Well it's 3 weeks later and nothing. I can't even track where it is! Terrible customer service, I will no longer be using them. Amazon local is MUCH more reliable. Do NOT use groupon!
This site provides me with indulgences in my life I could never afford without their discounts. Also it gives me a chance to find and discover new things. And their customer service is excellent... they are amazing. Use them!
I am disappointed with Groupon. Bought a photography course. It was difficult to book and then staged in a basement with 10 other crammed people. Not what I had paid for. They should make sure the services have booking availability
I purchased a refurbished LC 65" TV with a 90 day warranty and upon arrival it was dead. Groupon refused to take it back however their ad stated free returns. When the "refurbished" tv arrived it was dead. I have spent days going around in circles to no avail. I finally got the CEO's name and personnel address and may visit him and his family while watching tv soon. What they are doing is illegal and MUST be stopped by any means possible. I'm a wounded vet and getting madder each and every day. I have the CEO's home address so perhaps he will see what it's like to $#*! somebody. A couple of more days and I have no idea what will happen. I know one thing: Take care of your customer in honest faith or PAY the consequences.

I just don't believe that this can happen in Canada.
I bought a Valentine gift for my wife and specifically called them to deliver it on time. I never received the gift... as it had fake DHL tracking no. And when I enquired, the answer was we are very sorry... there should be some legal action taken against this company...
Worst customer service I've ever received and I'm 40! They are misleading and will do whatever it takes to steal your money! I'd rather pay the extra $30 knowing I got good service than save it by using Groupon!
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
