After never even receiving a book from the company yet still being charged by them every month, I emailed them to cancel my subscription. The following day I received a conformation email saying my account had been canceled. It has not been 5 months since they confirmed that my account had been cancelled, but I am still being charged every month. Every time I email customer service they give me the same answer saying my account has been cancelled. They will not refund my money and they will not stop charging me for services that I am not receiving. Worst company and customer service I have ever received. Sign up with them only if you want them to steal your money.
I LOVE the concept of this book but quality of the photos is horrible, beyond horrible. Also, the app does not work effectively. The info in my app is not correct with regard to my history. It must be a crazy place so I gave it a few months to 'get it together' but no, not yet!
As my 4th attempt I'm contacting you regarding my book. I've been waiting 4 weeks. I've emailed 3 times. The one and only response I've received simply said to make sure my address is correct. It is. So now what? In my emails I've also asked for your company to resend the book. That has yet to be addressed. Although if you do send another one I imagine I will have to wait another 4+ weeks to get it. I'm sure your explanation will be "it takes 10-14 days to ship". Seems to be your go to response to everyone. Maybe you should get a new line to use because frankly that one just doesn't cut it. It's a flat out lie. Looks like your company has let down a lot of people. Terrible service. I regret ordering and will not order again. I'm afraid if I cancel now all will be lost, including my book. Once I receive it, if I ever do, I will be canceling.
Since I have my windows phone I can not use Groovebook, I did what the website said and went to *******@groovebook.com to cancel my subscription, and I get nowhere. Very angry at this point as I have had my new phone almost a year. HELP!
Yes, it's a true value. The app is super easy to use. But quality of pictures is below "take it to the drugstore" level. Hard to argue with the price, but if the pictures were just 20% better, I would happily recommend it to everyone I know!
I had an email stating thy grove book sent my book on jan 15th and still have not received it. Emailed customer service and never got a replied. I cancelled my services And after reading all these reviews I am glad I did.
It's so funny. I tried out groove book years ago because my wife loves pictures. I remember only wanting to do it as a one time thing but what I and people failed to realize was once they got your credit card info they would keep charging it every month and there was vertually no way to get them to stop charging it... I don't even know how that is legal but at the time I figured I would do it as a one time thing... WRONG! I was forced to change my card information through my bank because I couldn't figure out a way to cancel the "subscription". To this day 4 long years later I still get the same e-mail every month: "Please update your billing information". Cracks me up every time. One day this scam of a organization will be gone. One day...
I was so excited after my first book. Pictures were great and I liked the idea of saving my pictures in one little book and now I can't get a book. It took them 2 months to get my December pictures and now I am still waiting for February. Something always is wrong with my card for some unexplained reason, I have to email everyday. I am in the process of terminating the service. Huge disappointment. Glad to see the reviews of others, I thought I was the only one.
I ordered my first book on 11/24/14, Around 12/5/14, I emailed inquiring where my book was at. They responded the next day and told me they had a influx of new customers and had to buy additional equipment. On 12/8/14, my book was shipped. On 12/16/14, I received it. The quality of the pictures was average and I used an Iphone 6 to take pics. For $2.99, its a great value to have pictures delivered right to my house. I would recommend to anyone.
These people are terrible. You have to email to cancel, and they don't cancel. You call and get recording that says you can only email. Cat and mouse game, and I Am the one who pays monthly when all I want to do is cancel... horrible.
The quality is poor and so is the service. I cancelled my subscription due to not being able to download photos because their system was busy and I was told to "try again later". By the time I could download photos the deadline had passed. This happened several times and seemed like a waste of money so I cancelled. They also continued to withhold the money from my account for several months and I had to go through the hassle of changing out my card number to stop the charges.
I ordered a groovebook and it came with all the pictures printed half way off the page. Couldn't get a refund. Its really a hit or miss cause the ones I got last year were fine.
The pictures are faded and not clear very disappointed in the quality of the pictures. At first I thought it was my camera, but the pics I am downloading are very clear. You guys need to fix this issue
Very disappointed! The concept is great, price is great BUT quality is horrible. I know it's only $2.99 per book but I expect my pictures to still look good. They are dark and I have an iPhone 6 that takes great pictures. If they could improve picture quality I would sign up again. I cancelled after my first 2 books. Had trouble with my 3rd book, the app didn't work and I could only upload 83 photos. If their pictures looked like the ones on their app I would even pay more per month but for now I will not be a customer.
I got my first groove book this month and i absolutely love it. For $3 and some change a month i think it is a great investment. Other companies like snapfish to get this mailed to me would have cost around $15. From other reviews that i have heard i will watch my credit card and make sure i am getting billed right and make sure i get my books every month. The other thing i will watch out for is the quality of the pictures. This months is pretty good for $3 but i did see some reviews that said the quality goes down. As for right now i really enjoy this app but will watch out for mistakes in the future.
I moved 3 months ago and updated my address on the app and I haven't received my oct, nob, dec or jan book. I have emailed them a few times and their response this morning this is the address we have for you which was my old address- I doubled checked nd my address is my new address so I emailed them back and told them that was the wrong address and I wanted the last 4 books asap. And haven't had a response back as of yet. I am very frustrated
Terrible. I was a member in 2012, the quality wasn't the greatest the books are very cute. I just like to empty my iphone. And not just put the pics on a usb.
I have a new email, new address, new debit card. And they continue to say I Have an account. Oh Geez. Ok.
The funny thing is, I entered all my info. And there isn't a submit button. So I dont know how they are getting my old info. CUSTOMER service is terrible they keep giving me a generic response all the time. Im just going to Sams club and pay extra for some good quality.
Not going to lie. I am VERY upset with this company! I picked 100 photos on June 1st. Well, my history said it was sent June 27th. I NEVER received my Groovebook! I have been trying to cancel my awful subscription to Groovebook. I have been a customer for 2 years and for about 1 year I have been trying to cancel with them! They take a monthly payment out of my checking, I have proof of various emails back and forth telling me I am cancelled and yet no stop of payment from my account. For about 6 months I did get books and they were repeated and duplicates of pictures I didn't even pick. I am going to have to change my checking account #. I will have to get all new checks, new submitting of info at my work. I'm frustrated and angry at GrooveBook.
This company "accidentally" sends your photos and info to random people and vice versa... either they are crooked or they are a horribly run company. Do not jeopardize your photos or privacy by using them.
Answer: They are a horrible company... until the BBB or Attorney General's office gets on their case, they'll keep abusing customers. They didn't respond as Groovebook, and now with Shutterfly it's the same deal. Cancel your payments and sever your ties with them... otherwise you'll have aggravation forever. BJ
Answer: It is impossible to cancel! I had to dispute 6 months of charges to my credit card. Groovebook responded to my email cancellation 3 times and confirmed cancellation. However they continued to charge me. Thank goodness my CC expired so now every month they email me to say they are having trouble processing my payment and need a new CC. They are awful!
Answer: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME! LOVED it until Shutter fly bought it... then the picture quality went to crap... grainy... poor color. HORRIBLE! There is NO customer service person to speak to... only email... and all you get is a generic scripted answer. IF you haven't signed up. DONT! If you have CANCEL!
