I have ALWAYS despised the quality of ShudderFry, and was furious when they bought out GrooveBook! The moment I saw GrooveBook on SharkTank, I signed up before the show was even over! In the first month, I had 6 books coming my way to catch up on all the pics I needed printed! Oh! They were wonderful! Edge to edge pics, smooth perforations, smooth glossy pictures - perfect! I was in paradise for a year! Then, I received a book with a bunch of pics stuck together and noticed their was about a 1/2 inch white border around the pic, and the paper was sticky and cheap... huh? Then, the next month was the same... WTH? I called to complain and the phone was answered "GrooveBook by Shutterfly, how may I direct your call?" That night was the SharkTank episode of the sale. I'm listed on Linkedin as a business owner and am connected to the show (don't know them, but what they hey...), got online, and posted a whopper - a long with a TON of others who were just as angry. I wrote long, scathing emails, with photo evidence of the difference in quality to Shudder Fry. Their reply "we will be happy to reprint 1 book of your choosing or give you your next book for free". I told them to keep their money, because obviously they needed it much more than I did - the cheap worms. I sent copies of those emails to the Sharks, and actually received an apology from them saying that not everything can be about the bottom line. I also have been charged far in advance of my closing date, when I only had 2 or 3 pics uploaded - and then received 30 copies of each - very helpful, then charged again on my closing date at 12:01 am, before I could load the pics and then again at 11:59 pm after I loaded the pics... The helpful thing was that I received an email from the Sharks via Linked that I will now receive free books for the next year - and boy am I gonna get my money's worth - they'll be on crappy paper, but I guarantee they won't forget me anytime soon. The last shiver is on me Shudder Fry!

I often come back to this site to see if anyone has any luck in improvement of what was once my favorite app, and it saddens me to see that it only gets worse! And, it seems most of your complaints are due to a lack of a phone number. HERE IS THE PHONE NUMBER TO SHUTTERFLY: *******159. Yes, you do have to have a little bit of patience to get through the automated system, but just keep on insisting for customer service and you WILL get a live person eventually. I found the best time to call is between 10 am eastern time through 3 pm eastern time. It's hit and miss and you will spend time on hold as "your call will be answered in the order it was received", but the number has worker for me. GOOD LUCK!
