Can't cancel my account, continue to get an automated message from their "customer service" email, then get an email later that month saying my next book will be sent etc, etc., this is BS! Do not join, I'm sure CVS or other stores who do photo printing would be happy to do it without a monthly subscription. Anyone have ideas on how to get in touch with this frauds?!?

Worst company
January 11, 2019

Never got my bookS! I paid for 2 and neither have shown up. It's been a month and a half since my first one. Then I email them to cancel my subscription because you can't just do it yourself. The day they said it was cancelled I also got another charge of 4.99. Would never ever recommend this company!

I LOVE IT.
May 19, 2016

I have had groovebook since February, and I have been very satisfied. I was surprised at how many bad reviews there were, because so far I have had nothing but a good experience. My mother and I both have it, I have both accounts linked into my American Express card. Our cycle ends each month on the 17th, and we usually receive our photo albums within a week and a half. The pictures are always very clear (but I have a really good camera on my smart phone) and they are always exactly how i laid them out when uploading it. I seen this on Shark Tank and fell in love. Now that they are with shutterfly, it's even better, because we get to order the magnet with the photo as well. And that comes usually within 7 days! Definitely give groovebook a try!

When first started with GrooveBook - great quality. Just received my latest book and the color is not very good anymore - not true to the photos? I really loved this service- since company taken over a noticeable difference. Will the company get back to what they did best? I'm bummed.

I had a baby about a year ago and was thrilled when I found an app that I could easily upload photos too without really going out of my way. At first the quality was pretty good (about comparable to if I printed them myself on a home computer), and served their purpose. However as I continue to receive them the photos are getting darker grainy. Also, for about the past 3-4 months the app rarely works for me! When I try to upload photos it literally takes about 1 hr. Or they just don't upload! I highly recommend that Groovebook step up their game because there are way to many competitors around!

At first I thought was an awesome idea.
Get your pics off your cell.
Print them cheap.
But 100 is too much.
Or they repeat your photos if you don't have them.
I guess the positive is I love my point and shoot again
Could care less about printing junk cellphone pics.
Don't do it
One year and you have a 1200 crappy photos
Save your $37.40 and make a photo book of your highlights from a shutter fly or snap fish sale.
Put some in my youngests baby book... I regret

Support is bad!
January 5, 2016

I like getting the pictures and do not blame Groove Book for quality as it might be my iPhone, but trying to get support is horrible. My most recent packages of pictures was empty and of course there is no support from the post office. Trying to contact Groove Book was worse, because I knew right away the post office was no help, with Groove Book who knows? Probably will never hear from them.

Worth it
September 24, 2021

For the price it is definitely worth being able to print off so many at once. In a cute book too. Easy to send to family members too. Not perfect quality but great for the price. Made a photo book of family to help my grandpa who is struggling with dementia remember everyone. Easy to reorder and send copies to family who wanted it too.

It's a different product than Shutterfly. Don't compare the 2. The quality is exactly what you should expect. They just acquired it so give them some time to iron out bugs. I love mine. No issues with mine

I do not know why others are saying poor quality. Mine was excellent and love this concept for so little money. I sent it to my son on south america as it is cheaper than a heavy photo album. They copied old photos i had and they came out very nice. I will use it again.

Well, I would give this a zero if I could. I joined this morning and tried to make my first book. It's been trying to download since 9:30 this morning and at 4:00 it's stuck at 60 of the 100 photos downloading. There is no phone number to call, you can only email and it could take up to 3 business days for them to get back to you if they get back to me. Now I'm reading the reviews and it seems this is a common issue and similar experience with many. Some people claim they can't cancel of get their money back. I'm mad!

Echoing all the below comments. Continuously was charged.

When erroneously charged and requested a cancellation, Groovebook lured me by stating my next two credits would be free. Then I was subsequently charged another two times.

Additionally, did not receive books, Groovebook noted it was my mail delivery issue, not theirs. I paid $66.66 and received two total books.

I am beginning to believe this product and service is an entire scam actually.

Amazing!
July 23, 2020

Honestly, i dont know how anyone can complain! It's 4$ for a hundred pictures in a nice booklet, with dates and time stamped with an easy cut out. If you want quality then go to your nearest store, order and pickup! Groovebook is offering the convenience of ordering and printing pics right off your phone and for the average person who is not going to take the time to print at a store. What did they expect for 4$! Pictures are great. Thank you GROOVEBOOK!

I signed up for this because I had a promo code for a first free month. I figured this would be a good way to print out my instagram photos but almost all of them were extremely grainy with off colors. I figured it was because of the filters so my next book I only used pictures directly off my phone. Still the same problem. The pictures are not printed on picture paper, they are very thin and the pictures are typically a smaller size than the book. The app idea is great but the product you get is really useless, plus I had to cancel my credit card in order to get them to stop charging me.

The first two months I paid but could not download the photos. Tried and it was going to take two days to get 100 downloaded! Customer service was slow and not very helpful. Automated and dismissive.
When a book finally arrived, I was shocked at the quality of the photos. I am a photographer, so I did not expect perfection, but the photos were dark and gray. Even white paper that was photographed was gray. I can't believe that there is such poor quality control.
Snapfish made a mistake in buying this company. It hurts Snapfish's reputation. After writing this review I will go on line and cancel my subscription to Groove Book.

I have been getting them since Jan 2012 and I have had no problems please do not listen to the bad reviews decide for yourself it's funny people are complaining and the book is 3 BUCKS for 100 photos and that includes free shipping! If you have a great quality phone your photos will be! Great way to bring your phone pictures to life! I am very pleased and will continue to use this app!

Originally loved them and their quality. After they sold out, the picture quality is terrible. I also continually have a hard time uploading my pics from my iPhone 6. Hate to quit them as I am at least regularly printing pics inexpensively, but it's a hassle uploading for such poor pics!

I am canceling my account effective today. Horrible, horrible customer service. I have sent email after email after email only to receive no response. And some months they tried to charge me twice. I had to email numerous times in order for them to refund my money. In the month of July, they charged me for 2 books that I received. I am sick and angry of no communication. My recommendation is to stay far and clear away from this company! Have your pictures printed at CVS or Walgreens. Save yourself the misery. In addition, the photos are printed on cheap paper very thin and flimsy. The sheets tear and rip when you try to pull them off to share with others. A horrible product with horrible customer service. Simply HORRIBLE!

Horrible!
August 6, 2016

1. The paper is FLIMSY
2. The quality of the photos are HORRIBLE
3. I can NEVER speak to a live person, it's always email! Terrible customer service!
4. I've had the same password for a while (I keep giving them chance after chance to see if anything gets better and it just gets worse) it told me my password is wrong, which I know is BS cause I KNOW my password! When I click "Forgot my password" it will let me put my email in but the keyboard won't go away so I can't click submit.
5. I hate this company. As soon as I get my password crap taken care of, they're done for. It was a nice concept, but not for me. Please don't use Groovebook, it's nothing but problems. That is all.

Terrible customer service
September 19, 2016

I asked to have my subscription cancelled several times to no avail.
After showing proof that I had requested the cancellation and questioned the subsequent charges, I was told by Groovebook to contact my card company and submit a claim for fraud. And they would not be able to cancel my account.
They would not help me. What little communication I received was weeks after I emailed, if at all.
These people don't care!
