After over 3 years or paying them every single month for multiple books of photos, all of a sudden, my password won't work and have emailed them for over a MONTH. They say that they have NO RECORD of me as a customer! How is that possible when they still deduct money from my debit card?
It is my closing date and I can't upload my picrures. Why is there not a phone number to contact a real person? I keep getting computer gererated responses. I need to upload today and it keeps telling me I will charged because I am uploading early. Groove Book is a great idea but hard to use and customer service is non existant!
I ordered my first GrooveBook for my anniversary, and it didn't come in time (I ordered it one month prior). I then said I needed the GrooveBook IMMEDIATELY so I could at least have it in time for Valentine's Day, and they told me it would arrive in 20 days! The GrooveBook took two months to come. There is no customer service, as you can only e-mail support who gives messages like they keep cost low so they can't get orders in time. DO NOT DOWNLOAD. You will never get your GrooveBook, and you will be charged each month for GARBAGE.
Best to print out photos with another service or pharmacy, very bad quality and you need to send an email to deactivate account & that takes a while or they will charge you continually.
First set never arrived, Finally recieved and they are poor quality. Not sure they're worth $3 / month. I will cancel and wait for a better competitor to emerge
Outsourcing your customer service has been the biggest mistake for this company. I plan to find a company that is local or statewide & pay the extra $ it takes to get my questions answered!
I was a member in 2015 and loved all my books from January to June of 2015. I have now been charged for a book January 12,2016 after reactivating my account and uploading my pictures. I NEVER received my book for January. I called the number but was told groovebook does not have a customer service anymore and must contact them through e-mail. So I did and was then told I never uploaded my photos. (I did though however!) I am now getting emails about Febuary to upload my pictures... I already have and have screen shot the fact that I have. I am also unable to stop my service since my phone shows I upload my pictures and the customer service refuses to help me only saying I have not uploaded anything and continue to CHARGE ME! This is a SCAM! Do not get this!
I was a customer back in 2018- I got two Groovebooks sent to me before I decided to cancel my account. I sent an email to the Groovebook Help team and got a confirmation email stating I had successfully cancelled my account in March of 2018.
Two years later I was going through my bank statement and saw that I have still been getting charged a membership fee. I sent yet another email to the help team demanding to know why I am still being charged for a membership I cancelled over two years ago and telling them they will credit back to me any money they have wrongfully taken from my account after my cancellation date. I added three photos proving my cancellation email along with two photos of my card being charged from Groovebook. I got back an email stating "We see that your account is still active and we do not see any charge."
The customer service and overall company is an absolute joke and terror to work with. It is completely unacceptable for a company to start recharging a past customer of over two years ago money for something they have proof of them cancelling in the first place.
I have been a member since Jun 2015. The picture quality these past two months have been the worst. A white line right though my picture. The app for android is horrible. It's not user friendly. I'm able to get around it I'm tech savy; for a person who isn't it will be a problem. I have tried to cancel my account once and they say they will but the never did. I even got my bank to fight them and they never canceled my account. They charged my account for three months and I never received a book. The shipping they have for this book is slower than sailmail. This month it says on the app that they shipped it out on Nov 5th and today it's Nov 20th and I still haven't received it.
I did not expect Olan Mills quality. I was perfectly pleased with my book. If you just want a way to see the pictures and keep a copy, Groove book is awesome!
I have been a subscriber since 2016. Uploaded each month, received books each month. Since 9/2021 I can not upload, books not sent, emails not replied to? WHAT HAS HAPPENED.?
What a mess! This was such a great app when I first joined. Sadly I have to say I heard about it in shark tank, I joined that night and got the first few books were great. I even had a problem that was taken care of promptly and I was happy as could be about it, then I noticed the charge to my card changed from 2.99 to 3 something which includes tax and I wondered what happened but since I also had a family emergency I couldn't check out the book properly. The next few books took longer, and the quality seemed to be lacking, I too emailed but going no response and now I see why. It's ruined by a buy out by a larger company. I seem to remember one of the sharks taking about shutterfly the night of the show and while I understand the creators reasons for selling they should have been more careful to negotiate to keep the book as it was not to protect their names and the quality of their creation.
It sucks now. How could shutterfly be so ignorant to the customers who help build the company they were frothing at the mouth to buy?

Will not let you submit your order when you want to. They give you a short day or two where you can submit the pictures. They do not have a phone number for customer service! They will not cancel your subscription! The photos are not great quality and pictures are not centered properly. This was a fantastic idea that was started on SHARK TANK and then sold to shutter fly. I bet the people who designed GROOVEBOOK are cringing right now!. Shutterfly, you should be ashamed of the way you are scamming people!
There is no way to cancel Groovebook. The only option given is to email them. However, they never respond, they keep charging me. I dont know how to stop this.
First off... the groovebook concept is nice and appealing for all those cell phone pics that just hang out and never get printed. It is such an appealing concept to teenagers. My daughter joined and linked this revolving charge to her little bitty bank account. When she realized the quality of the pictures weren't very good, and it was a painful and slow process to upload pictures... she cancelled the subscription. It's been over a year, and I still notice charges to her account. Their customer service is the WORST ever! You can not talk to a live person. It's utterly frustrating trying to get any type of resolution. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone! Too bad, they didn't let someone take over from Shark Tank... hope you sleep well at night knowing you are unethically taking money from so many people and not providing a product. Totally unbelievable! $3.20/month adds up when you are charging hundreds and hundreds of people with no real way of disputing charges. Shameful!

THIS SITE COMPLETELY SUCKS! THE PICTURE QUALITITY COMES OUT LIKE CRAP! ALSO THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, I'VE BEEN TRYING TO CANCLE MY ACCOUNT SINCE SEPTEMBER AND WROTE THREE DIFFERENT EMAILS TO THEIR WEBSITE AND THEY ARE STILL CHARGING ME AND WHEN YOU CALL THEY JUST HAVE A RECORDING THAT SAYS TO EMAIL THEM! BUT THEY DON'T GET BACK TO YOU! OVERALL HORRIBLE SITE! DON'T DOWNLOAD APP OR SIGN UP!
I am not getting books. Won't let me upload. I syarted Nov 17 th and got first two books but next one had to request and still waiting for February book. Have sent emails no answer. What can i do?
Poor quality. Picture colors are EXTREMELY off. Even some photos look like they are from the 80's when they would be over exposed and half of the picture would be yellow with lines. I emailed them and they offered a refund or replacement. I chose replacement. In the meantime I received the current month book. Colors are still off in these pictures. Received my replacent book, had the same issues still. I emailed customer service: received my reprint. Unfortunately most of the pictures have a red tint to them and some of the pictures turned out just as bad as before.
Before receiving my reprint, I received my January book. All of those pictures the colors are off as well. Are you having issues with your printers? I have printed some of the same pictures at Walgreens and they turned out fine.
I am not happy with the quality I have received the last 2 months. Please let me know what can be done to resolve. Thank you for your help!

We don't edit or color correct the photos, if multiple books are not satisfactory, I would have to suggest using another service that might be more expensive but might be able to lab enhance your photos. We can't send anymore reprints as they are turning out the same as the original books mailed.
This is really sad customer service is suggesting you send your business elsewhere vs performing quality control and quality improvement. I am not asking for perfection, I just want the colors to be right. I use and iPhone and the colors are right when I print them at sams or Walgreens
They billed me multiple times last month and won't refund my money. Terrible company. I've cancelled, let's see how many times they bill me now.
Answer: They are a horrible company... until the BBB or Attorney General's office gets on their case, they'll keep abusing customers. They didn't respond as Groovebook, and now with Shutterfly it's the same deal. Cancel your payments and sever your ties with them... otherwise you'll have aggravation forever. BJ
Answer: It is impossible to cancel! I had to dispute 6 months of charges to my credit card. Groovebook responded to my email cancellation 3 times and confirmed cancellation. However they continued to charge me. Thank goodness my CC expired so now every month they email me to say they are having trouble processing my payment and need a new CC. They are awful!
Answer: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME! LOVED it until Shutter fly bought it... then the picture quality went to crap... grainy... poor color. HORRIBLE! There is NO customer service person to speak to... only email... and all you get is a generic scripted answer. IF you haven't signed up. DONT! If you have CANCEL!
