I have made multiple purchases from Groove Bags, mostly shoes & phone cases. They are one of the few US companies I could find who made interesting cases for my not-an-iphone. Their shoes are super comfortable and hold up really well; still have my first pair after 4 years of use. The design selections are incredible, and special orders are possible. Whenever I have had a question or problem, they always reply almost immediately. I am surprised at some of the negative reviews; I have always had a great result.
I ordered some canvas shoes with my cats picture on them. They came in good time and I was very pleased with the product. Very cute. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size. When I approached the company they were prompt in replying and extremely helpful and the situation was resolved quickly and very graciously. In these times it's great to find a company who has a strong moral obligation to their customers. Well done Groove Bags
Received three pairs of custom shoes within 2 -3 weeks of ordering and had to replace a size which I was extremely nervous about and almost didn't bother because I saw it was shipped from over seas. I was so wrong I wrote a email and got a response the next day then received another with the new shipping info for replacement!
Make a purchase in the month of December as part of the Christmas gifts to make to my friends. Although the order took a while, they arrived in excellent condition. Unfortunately, two of the girls did not fit their canvas shoes, to which I proceeded to verify with the company what their return policy was. To my surprise and joy all my doubts answered super fast. Both tracking the package when it was late, and when I needed two shoes one size larger. I am very pleased and delighted with the service and quality of your products.
I really had a hard time waiting to receive my boots. I should have received it October but something went wrong with the address. Groove Bags has been waiting for the package to be returned yo their warehouse but I am not sure if it returned to them. And I waited for another month before it can be remade (I understand the policy of Groove Bags about this one). Trish (and someone named Robert) has been trying to assist and help me thru emails. It's a really long wait but I very much appreciate the prompt response. Specially Trish. Thank you, Trish for all the help. Finally I have the boots!
I absolutely love my shoes *******@groovebags.com. The craftsman ship is beautiful. I had an issue with my first pair not fitting, so I emailed the company. The sent me a replacement pair in the correct size for free and they told me to keep the other pair. Amazing product, amazing people and great customer service! Highly recommend! They also send you the cutest stickers!
This is a shame. I would have easily ordered 10 pairs for myself and friends. The designs are so fun-something for everyone. Unfortunately, they are so cheaply made and terribly uncomfortable. If you are looking for a very very light weight shoe that feels like you are walking barefoot on cement, then this may be the shoe for you! I am hoping there is enough space for an insole so they are not a complete waste of money. I was very disappointed to see they were made in China which is why they take so long to arrive-not just because they are made on demand as they say. This could be an awesome business if it were done correctly! Maybe the bags are better and they should forget about making shoes.
The shoes are kind of cheap on the quality side. It even smells cheap. I'll be wearing mine rarely because the soles are particularly bad. Who wants to slide around everywhere cause they have no traction? It's not made of a good material... I can't name it but you'll smell it as soon as you inspect the shoes closer.
I orders a cute print for a canvas shoe online after I saw an Instagram add.
It took over a month for the shoes to ship. They arrived a complete mess.
They are too small.
The soles literally came out in my hand when I picked up the shoe.
Horrible quality and I will never order again.
I ordered these shoes in October (18th)and they said that it would be here around early to mid November, boy was that wrong they showed up December (21). They show off as a local family owned company but when I searched for the shoes they were shipping from China. The slip ons I get are not stretchy at all and one of my shoes came with some orange marks on them. I highly don't recommend unless you want to over pay, wait too long, and get poor quality products.

I placed an order in early December, 2 pairs of shoes for Christmas gifts for my mother and daughter. Just received my order today via UPS. Cute idea but a HUGE mistake. The items came from China so the sizing was way off. The tracking is a joke so you'll never really know where your order is or when it will be delivered. Decent price for 2 pairs of slides but not worth the hassle. Now, let's see how long it takes to process a refund/return. Shop somewhere else.
They make it seem like they are a local company but they get all their stuff from China. I was upset when I paid $54 for a pair of shoes & saw it was being shipped from China. That means they pay maybe $5 and pocket the rest. It also means the shoes will be cheap. I ordered mid-July & I am am still waiting. It has been stuck in LA for days.
Buyer beware! Absolute bogus, rip off, scam company! Placed order on February. Order didn't show up by end of March. Still didn't show up in April, May or June. When I tried to cancel, I was told to wait until they finally showed up, if and when ever that was, and return. Disputed with PayPal, still no refund. They would wait until the very last day to respond and responded with just a China post tracking number showing they were still sitting in China after months. "Shoes" finally showed up in trashed packaging. The cheapest made things I've ever seen. Smelled absolutely horrible of chemicals and didn't fit. Ordered size 9, they don't even fit my daughter who's size 6.
And to return and get a refund, I have to pay for postage.
Lesson learned for me, but heed the warnings of myself and others. Do not buy from this company.
I ordered back in April and STILL haven't gotten shoes. 2 emails to customer service and NO response. It's awful. I checked the tracking info and it now says that there's been no update for so long that my shipment is likely lost...
Made a purchase and still have not received my order over a month later. No confirmation email for my purchase but the money was taken out of my account. Went to the site and was not able to track down any order information. Attempted to contact customer service twice and got no response. Scam company? Never buying anything off of Facebook again. These no name companies are scams. This is the third time I've not received an item ordered from advertising on Facebook.
This company refuses to issue refunds without return of purchased product. It has been over 10 weeks since I placed my order, my package has been stalled in Shanghai since May 22 - no updates on shipping since then. I am told that my order is coming, it's just taking longer, but now being over 6 weeks since the last update it's hard to believe I will ever see it, and that this item is not lost. They continue to use the pandemic as an excuse, yet, I have placed and received many orders from other companies during this period, and while shipping is taking longer, it hasn't ever come close to over 10 weeks. I am extremely disappointed, but I will cut my losses, learn from my mistakes, tell all my friends, and anyone who will listen, to avoid doing business with this company.
I ordered shoes from this company two and a half months ago and still nothing. I have since moved out of state and have no hope of ever receiving anything. Their customer service is completely unhelpful, instructing me to contact their shady shipping carrier instead of actually helping. I got ripped off.
Do not buy. Okay so I paid almost $50 for pair of casual shoes... I waited a long time to get my order and when It came I was pretty damn disappointed. The shoes on the site look really great but the print I got on my shoes looks fuzzy, they're not comfy. The fabric on top is frayed and the shoe sole is really bad quality and somehow also frayed. I feel like when I pay that much for a pair of simple shoes I should be getting better quality without $#*!ty stitching.
I finally received my shoes after waiting 3 months. Not only did they take forever but they are cheaply made. My husband got home before I did and he sent me pictures of the boxes they came in, they were beat up and almost in pieces. One of the pair looks like someone had orange something on their hands and touched the shoes. STAY AWAY

Sorry for any misunderstandings! It looks like the box got damaged during shipping, but our insoles are made that way. There are light strips of glue applied, so they are easily removable for use of other inserts, for customers who need more comfort & support. Once you wear the shoes, the insoles will stay permanently in place.
