I ordered several items from the online Walmart store, especially heavy items like cans and soaps as I don't own a car and the closest Walmart is still so far from my home. However, Almost 40% of my items have been cancelled when the processing my order. When I received the delivery, another 20% of my order was missing :) I felt like there was no point for me to pay the delivery fee for them to ship to my home as I almost got nothing... Even the item shipped to my home were wrong (I have unchecked the allow substitution box). Feel like being scammed, paid an order with around $200 with $6 shipping fee, after all such refund and cancellation, there was only 40% of items delivered and they don't even the main purpose for me to make an online order.
Trying to contact their chat support, the first agent transfer me to another agent after just saying Hi, and the second agent just kicked me out from the chat after saying Hi again. And there have no place for me to provide feedback to them. It's not the first time I ordered with them, but every time they will give you some "unexpected incidents". NEVER order Walmart online delivery again.
Most of the time, Walmart delivers the wrong groceries, and its return policy makes very difficult to return the items and impossible to get a refund.
The park I live in doesn't show up on 5G digital maps and I make sure to put in detailed directions in the instructions and they STILL can't find it! I tell them to text me if they can't find me, but today the lady they sent didn't speak english! I felt so sorry for her! Who does that to their employees? It's also been suggested that you get better delivery service if you tip well. I tip, but I'm on a fixed income and can barely afford my groceries! THIS IS THEIR JOB! I SHOULDN'T BE EXTORTED TO GET WHAT I PAID FOR!
Also been suggested that drivers steal RTE snacks. I'll be picking my orders up curbside from now on.
I did not receive all my items! I will never order walmart delivery again. Items missing. The items I was going to use to feed the homeless are missing
Danielle was very nice and very helpful great personality you should be very lucky you have somebody working for you like that thank you very much Danielle
I booked my groceries to come between 7-8 and the website said they were out for delivery at 6:45. I waited until 8:10, when my window had long passed and the car had apparently been on the road with my food for an hour and a half, to call. When I called I was told that I would have to wait another hour for the food to get there, no amount of asking would get the man on the other end to tell me what exactly happened to my groceries or what was causing this very long delay. I wait another f*****g hour and call again when my food is still not there only to find out from this man that my groceries had been cancelled waaayy long ago, before I called the first person. It was canceled because the driver could not find my address (I do not live anywhere hard to find) and didn't bother to call the phone number I gave them to see if I could come to meet them where they ended up or help them find their way, they just left. The first person I called told me it would be another hour so I assume they simply didn't bother to check whether or not my order was actually on its way and made me wait an hour, until 9 o'clock at night, for an order that was not coming. So, one driver who was too lazy to call me for a 5-minute phone call asking for directions, one customer service rep who simply didn't care enough to look at the order number I gave him, and zero groceries. On the plus side, I received a call 12 hours later when I woke up this morning letting me know my order didn't make it...
A few months ago when I started using Walmart grocery delivery service it worked out fine. Back then my only biggest gripe was their choice of substitutions they done. But over the last few deliveries have been a headache. Once my order got canceled for whatever reason and I wasn't alerted about it. Twice my order was delayed and never delivered because after several hours of waiting - I canceled the order. But more oftenly, say about half the time now, my order will say "On the Way" but NEVER shows up. I literally live right down the street from Walmart, like a 3 mins drive so why some 2 hrs later - On the Way?!? I contact Customer Service and it's always the same story - "Not enough drivers" or "Your order has been assigned to a driver, he just haven't arrived at the store yet". Are you kidding me, my order was suppose to be delivered 4 hrs ago. It's taking him that long to get to the store? At this point I've had to contact them about my orders so much that I can verify they have a script to follow and ranked up so many useless promo offers, which is a headache to use btw. It just seems nobody knows what they're doing or what's going on. Smh.
Yep, Walmart didn't deliver my groceries 7 times. I'm disabled and don't drive, so this is my best option for food delivery. Each time they don't show, I spend a total of 40 minutes on the phone to get a refund and reschedule another delivery. On a couple occasions they goofed that up as well. I'm (unfortunately) a Walmart+ subscriber. That's just making things worse because I guess this was $100 down the tubes, only getting aggravation. Also, when my orders are cancelled and re-ordered, substitutions are made without my approval. The most recent time some chicken was replaced with chicken paws (feet!). I'm totally serious! There is one solution to all this hassle, and it's ordering from Kroger from now on even though their prices are higher and don't accept EBT (food stamps). My complaints have fallen on deaf ears except for once when a store manager phoned me the next day and apologized for 10 minutes. That's very nice, but the next time I ordered a week later they goofed again, and when I called the store I was told "There are no managers here to take your call". I couldn't make all this up if I tried. I really wish Walmart could make up for all my grief, but I doubt that will ever happen. Good luck to anyone and everyone who tries Walmart grocery delivery!
Im now without groceries, or money to buy any from anywhere else now that the walmart app delivery tracker claims that my order arrived yet thats B.S because I stood at my open door watching my entire property and nobody came with no flipping food. I even went outside with just a Tshirt, out in the canadian winter snowstorm around me and froze while hungrily scavanging the entire street for a possibly misplaced delivery order. Nope, nada, zip, zilch, nothing. My groceries maybe never existed to begin with. Maybe the map delivery tracking feature is a lie too. I watched that car move on the map for 30 whole minutes anxiously and excitedly awaiting my food as I havent eaten in 2 days and im starved to the bone and now because of the Walmart app, im broke and penniless with no money to spare on anymore food or groceries from walmart or anywhere else for that matter. I want to crawl into a hole and force myself asleep and not wake up for a year. Im not just hungry. Im now angry and disappointed and hurt and feel so cheated and abused. Im facking hangry AF. Thanks Walmart. You suck.
THERE GROCERY DELIVERY IS THE WORST AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE STINKS. COULDN' GET A $2.44 REFUND ON A PACKAGE OF STRAWBERRIES THAT WERE WORTHLESS-MUSHY -SOFT AND FUZZY. THEY SAID NO REFUND BECAUSE THEY HAD GIVEN ME SOME OTHER REFUNDS IN THE PAST. WHAT A JOKE-THEY REUNDED MY MONEY ON AN ORDER THAT WAS DELIVERED TO ANUNKNOWN LOCATION AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THAT'S MY FAULT. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE-DON'T ORDER FRUIT OR VEGETABLES CAUSE THEY GIVE YOU THE WORST LEFTOVER CRAP THAT NO ONE WANTS.
Walmart has been bugging me to try their grocery delivery service for a long time, and I decided to give them a shot. Big mistake.
I first order was an hour and a half late. Frozen items were completely thawed and other perishables were questionable. I tried to use their online reporting feature to get a refund for the damaged items only to find that I was expected to drive them to a Walmart location. If I wanted to drive to walmart, I wouldn't have ordered grocery delivery! Eventually, I tracked down the customer service telephone number and got refunded (credit where credit is due, the customer service rep was extremely helpful and friendly, and handle the situation promptly).
I placed a second order, and part to replace the items that were destroyed the first time around. Since there was a 3-day wait at that point for another delivery appointment, I sprung for the express 2 hour service. Two and a half hours later, when the items should have been at my doorstep, they still hadn't left the store and I canceled the order.
At this point I'm pretty discouraged by Walmart, but decided to give them one final chance. Another order, another Express payment, and you probably can guess what happened. 2-hour delivery window ending at 2:10, and it's now almost an hour late.
Three strikes and you're out, Walmart. I'm headed back to instacart.
Poor Customer Service farmed out to other countries, what do they expect?
The beginning of the problem is that when a customer visits and logs in, the address is loaded into memory so that it can be used for delivery and identification when needed. However, when an address Is changed during the same sign-in--- the programmer forgot to clear the memory location of the old address info and replace with the current info. That is how the account shows the new address, but the info sent to the delivery personnel show only old info. ( The order was placed after the sign -n and new address edit).
The balance of the errors are Walmart Policies and/or the perceived understanding of them. Along with…. An overworked and under trained management…which management has little or no business foresight.
The policies of Walmart and the software of Walmart used to be "state of the art" … now Walmart is regressing and will never catch up to companies like Amazon… in software or insightful business policies/plan. Helllo Amazon and companies like them.
I ordered groceries from Walmart in the morning to be delivered between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. that evening. They sent a message around 4:00 p.m. saying some of my items were not available. These items were milk, chicken, margarine. Without these items I would have to go to the store and I know they had milk and chicken! My order was large so I left it as is. At 7:00 p.m. it hadn't come but showed a delivery person in route. At 7:30 I received the message saying that Walmart canceled all of my order because of problems with the delivery! I have never been so angry! I called the store 15 times and no one ever answered the phone. I would have gotten up that morning and gone to the store to get my own groceries had I known they would be so lousy! At 8:00 p.m. I had a house full of grandchildren visiting and spent a large amount of money on takeout to feed them! I was furious! At 6:00 a.m. my phone binged saying that they were delivering garbage bags!. I am never dealing with them again and I will go to five or six stores to get what I need before ever stepping into a Walmart store. Walmart is too rich to care about regular people!
WHAT IS THE POINT OF DELIVERY IF I HAVE TO TAKE UNWANTED ITEMS BACK TO THE STORE? It's time for a class action lawsuit.
Im a walmart + costumer meaning i pay every month to get free delivery everytime I order. Things go missing here or there. Not the things that are out of stock though. I mean the things that are in stock and are suppose to be delievered to me. They don't get delivered so I have to call and get refunds for the stuff thats missing. More than once I've done this. Just recently I order some stuff that included 2 substitutes that i didnt get and a medicine syringe that I needed for my sons medicine and I paid the 10 dollars express just to recieve the medicine syringe right away. That also went missing. This isnt the first time my stuff has dissapeared. Whats worse is that if the door dash driver has my stuff, they dont return it. Its like they are keeping stuff that people order. Either that or walmart is lying. Either way, I wish my stuff would stop dissapearing. The medicine syringe was probably in the same bag with the other stuff door dash stole from me.
I absolutely do not recommend inhome service. If they don't cancel your order for no reason then they will deliver your groceries to the front door and leave them sitting there. They are supposed to follow the directions that I provided in their inhome app telling them where my refrigerator was located (screenshot of their app asking for delivery directions). I had to spend my time calling them so the driver would come back and put the perishable items in the refrigerator and freezer. The groceries were delivered at 11:03 on my front porch and they didn't come back until 11:50 to put them away correctly. I don't leave my milk, eggs or frozen items out of the refrigerator/freezer for that long. The items had to be replaced and then they couldn't replace them all because they were out. So they wouldn't refund me for the item they couldn't replace and told me i had to call the 1800 number - a lot more time wasted. Now they tell me they can't see the delivery instructions that I had to fill out in their own app. So frustrating and I've had to waste so much of my time calling them to correct everything. They couldn't deliver my very first order because they couldn't charge their vehicle, so I had to pick up my groceries after paying for the delivery service. On another delivery I saw from my security camera the associate not put any items into the freezer, so I had to waste more time trying to get someone to pick up the phone at the store to send the delivery person back. Not worth it.
The past few months Walmart+ grocery delivery charges are terrible, never had an issue when I first started using Walmart + but now the charges do not add up on my credit card. When I set up the order I am charged for what I ordered, then when I get my groceries and there are several items out of stock I should not be charged for those items. After I get my delivery I then check my account on Walmart+ and it tells me what my total order was minus the missing items... But when I go the my credit card statement it doesn't show any adjustments the total charge is still there before the out of stock items... So I keep an eye on it and after a few days the amount changes from pending to posted and still there is no credit for the missing items or a change of what is being charged to the correct amount of what should be charged and after weeks there is still no credit I have talked to my bank several times about this issue and they are the ones offering the refund and then going after Walmart for the money, it shouldn't be this way. There was one order on Christmas week that was totally canceled due to weather conditions and they still charged my credit card never giving me a refund my bank had to reverse the charges for me... Walmart get your $#*! together your ripping a lot of people off and it's not right and on top of that we are paying for the delivery service!
THEY MESSED UP ALMOST EVERY ORDER I HAVE DONE EVEN FROM DIFFERENT STORES. IF THE DRIVER DOESNT WANT HOUR OEDER THEY WILL JUST CANCEL IT AND YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT DAYS UNTIL THEY CREDIT YOU YOU MONEY BACK. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SEVICE!
Corrected:
The service provided was incredibly poor. I had a very bad experience previously and decided to give it another chance, but unfortunately, this time it was even worse. I'm not sure why they offer this service if they can't provide it appropriately. It's unbelievably frustrating. They delayed my delivery by 3 hours, and when I called to cancel because I wouldn't be available at that late hour, they said they couldn't accommodate that request. They insisted on sending the driver whenever they were available, and if I wasn't around, they would take the delivery back, and I would have to call the following day for a refund.
But that's not even the worst part. They sent an Uber driver with a large order but without any means to handle the delivery, like a cart. The driver expected me to come down and take the order outside the building. I live in a high-level apartment, and if I were able to carry the items myself, I wouldn't have placed an online order.
If you can, I recommend shopping in-store or don't!
Walmart Delivery drivers steal, open food items, tamper with food items, and most cannot speak or read English so delivery instructions are not followed and communication is impossible. Food items are expired, orders are incomplete or belong to another customer. Food is often rotten or spoiled, items marked as 'fresh' are frozen, incorrect items are delivered, food that is supposed to be frozen arrives completely thawed, food packaging is often damaged, etc. And, if you dare submit complaints about your delivery to Walmart customer service =-- absolutely nothing is done about it, and if you make too many complaints or request refunds Walmart will deactivate your account. In 2022, Walmart's revenue was $575 BILLION yet it continues to deceive and rip off the American public. Thousands of bad reviews (with the exact same complaints) have not only been posted online, but submitted to Attorney General's offices, and with Better Business Bureaus -- yet Walmart DOES NOTHING. My suggestion? Buyer beware as Walmart should be investigated by the Board of Health.
Answer: Non existent. You get a refund - no redelivery when they screw up. Worthless.
Answer: No one wants to work. Unless you tip well they won't take delivery
Answer: Two wrong addresses in one day with picture proof in tracking that it wasn't even my address number
Answer: Exactly. That was my issue as well. It's very annoying and not very good customer service.
