It's really crap shoot ordering from Wal-Mart for delivery. Either nearly half of what I've put in my cart is out of stock when I get ready to place my order, or after ordering, when it's ready for delivery, a goodly amount of items are no longer available. Very frustrating. Also my orders have gone missing several times and I've had to ask for refunds for the whole order or parts of it I paid for but didn't get. Another time I received a call saying I needed to pick up an order that plainly stated it was for delivery. Only reason I haven't canceled my membership are some items I can't get elsewhere and the free shipping on anything I shipped by FedEx.
3 times I ordered and three times they let me know it was cancelled moments before it was to be delivered.
Apparently the driver, for whatever reason changed her mind.
This is by far the bottom of the barrel when rating grocery services. Currently I have Shipt, Instacart and Amazon Prime who may have problems from time to time but also ways to resolve those problems that show they value their customers.
Plain and simple Walmart does not deliver. They do not have customer service to deal with delivery service problems.
When you have an issue and you call all they can do is credit your account. They can not make sure you get undelivered or spoiled items. They do no keep frozen items like ice cream cold. They tell you they are cold and frozen when they leave the store. They can not get hold of drivers who may have left your groceries in the car. They can not find out who shopped your order improperly.
Walmart takes no responsibility for any of these issues other than to give you a credit. They can not replace your order time and so you have to wait hours to reorder your items. There is no priority for your problems to be taken care of promptly. If they screwed up on items that don't total your minimum order you will actually have to pay for redelivery. You may have to wait hours again because of availability. They will tell you to call the store and when you do the phone will ring and ring and if you are lucky enough to have a person answer they will tell you they can not help you. They are ridiculous.
My last dozen orders had issues. I spent at least 30 minutes on the phone with each one of them to get refunds for items that were wrong items, spoiled items or just plain missing. If you value your time steer clear of this service. At least in Tampa Palms, Florida.
I see this site is claiming this review has medium credibility. Well give this service a try and you will see just how credible it it
Walmart has been bugging me to try their grocery delivery service for a long time, and I decided to give them a shot. Big mistake.
I first order was an hour and a half late. Frozen items were completely thawed and other perishables were questionable. I tried to use their online reporting feature to get a refund for the damaged items only to find that I was expected to drive them to a Walmart location. If I wanted to drive to walmart, I wouldn't have ordered grocery delivery! Eventually, I tracked down the customer service telephone number and got refunded (credit where credit is due, the customer service rep was extremely helpful and friendly, and handle the situation promptly).
I placed a second order, and part to replace the items that were destroyed the first time around. Since there was a 3-day wait at that point for another delivery appointment, I sprung for the express 2 hour service. Two and a half hours later, when the items should have been at my doorstep, they still hadn't left the store and I canceled the order.
At this point I'm pretty discouraged by Walmart, but decided to give them one final chance. Another order, another Express payment, and you probably can guess what happened. 2-hour delivery window ending at 2:10, and it's now almost an hour late.
Three strikes and you're out, Walmart. I'm headed back to instacart.
Delivery is either late or you don't get it, they they to say its still coming just running late, it never comes. They will hold your money for days and then apologize with a $5 promo code that doesn't work and then customer service will not help you to use your code
I only use Wal-Mart delivery for groceries when I absolutely have no other way or I am too ill to go to the store. I am a disabled senior citizen and was happy when delivery became an option. But Wal-Mart and by delivery association, Door Dash and OnTrac, have the worst delivery rate. I left detailed instructions on how to get into the gated community. My phone rings when they try. I get maybe 1 out of 5 orders correctly packed and delivered. In the past 5 days there have been 3 items missing from 2 separate orders. 1 frozen was left out. They refunded. The first part of the 2nd order they delivered fine but the website said they would have to ship the 2 snack items. I knew they had them in the store but I was okay with that. Then today, out of the clear blue, I receive a text saying Door Dash driver arrived with the remainder of my order. Despite being sick, I had to get dressed and I go out to the parking lot to look for the drivers because I know the numbering can be confusing. I never got a call from the gate to open it. I just got a notification next saying it had been delivered and the picture was just a pitch black pic. It is bright and sunny here so unless she delivered it to the gates of hell, I don't know where it is. Hope the demons enjoy the snacks, they are kinda salty so maybe they are torturing lost souls with the chips and not offering ice water. Lol. Anyway, I got a refund. But just don't accept that it will be shipped like they say when you order or that you will get everything you order. This has been going on for YEARS with Walmart. I'm going back to bed now. I can't even with Walmart today.
I've used Walmart's grocery delivery service for over a year in Pensacola Fl. And it's been pretty good. But starting this weekend the service has been horrendous. I ordered groceries to be delivered to my 89-year-old mother and set a time of 10 am. The order never arrived and I got an email that the groceries were delivered, but nothing arrived. I checked the neighbors and no groceries were delivered anywhere. I got on the phone with customer service who said the order had been delayed due to a driver cancelling despite the email and the website stating that the groceries had been delivered. They told me to wait until 8 pm upon which I told them that I would not accept delivery after 3 pm. Delivery never arrived and I filed a return for the order on their website and reordered everything for the next day at 10 am. This next order is hours late and customer service tells me again the driver has cancelled the order and advised me again to wait until 8 pm. I've been paying for Walmart's delivery membership, but If I can get groceries delivered what is the point? I would not recommend this service, especially in Pensacola. It is badly mismanaged.
Save time and aggravation by going to the store yourself... you are not going to get what you want and you won't know until it gets to you... my order was delivered and I just got a message saying it was delayed and they would let me know when it was on the way... I have gotten messages the day AFTER I cancelled that they had to cancel because nothing was available. You people suck!
They literally never delivered our food. They spent 11 hours saying it was being prepared then they canceled the order. Don't waste your time
I'm always charged for forgotten items. I'm ALWAYS given bad / rotten produce. Anyone who gets delivery just gets all the leftover produce the employees don't wanna throw away.
Brown garlic.
Mushy bell peppers.
Bruised apples.
Same driver ate my groceries again & said dumb things like he couldn't deliver because no one was outside, although the mailman, neighbor & I were outside but heeee was NOT! Criminal minds don't think well.
I am disabled and have no transportation or anyone that will take me to get groceries. My daughter and I rely on this to get groceries, household supplies and OTC medication. I pay a monthly service fee for groceries being delivered. There are constant issues that Walmart never addresses or compensates for.
1) The "out of stock" feature is NEVER accurate. I am lucky if I get 1/2 of my order. Things shown "in stock" are not.
2) Order cancellation - I have had multiple grocery orders cancelled with NO notification. For example, if I place an order to be delivered between 12-1 I notice it's 1:15 and no groceries. I go to my orders and check and it will be cancelled for no reason. Contacting customer support is a joke. They will give you 10 different cancellation excuses and offer no compensation in return. You never get same day delivery so you are stuck putting in another order and waiting for delivery availability.
3) Items wrong, damaged or expired - I get that humans make mistakes, I am fine with that. What I am not fine with is that when I need to be refunded for their human error, Walmart wants me to bring the wrong, damaged and expired items to the store for refund! I DON'T HAVE A WAY TO GET THERE! Thus the entire reason I use grocery delivery to begin with!
4) Tipping the delivery driver - I tip and I have no issue with it. What I do have an issue with is Walmart automatically adding a $10 tip to your grocery order. I didn't notice the first couple of times. On those occasions the drivers actually put my groceries in my yard and not on my porch. I bought a 40 pack of water that tore and they left the water bottles scattered across my yard never even bothering to pick them up! I prefer to wait to tip them for good service as you have 24 hours after completed grocery delivery.
I could go on and on but you get my point. There are other, more reliable grocery delivery services. Ones that will delivery within a two hour window. Ones that actually text you to ask what substitutes you want while they are still in the grocery store. Ones that actually value their customers. Unfortunately they increase their prices on every item MASSIVELY! I cannot afford these services because I support myself and my daughter on meager social security disability.
If you can avoid using Walmart grocery delivery, that is my recommendation.
App shows in stock but ARE not once order pulled for delivery.
Substitutions not even close to product needing or wanting. Out of $55 grocery order I recd $23 in groceries because no items available. I get better service with Vons on items & substitutions. Won't renew next year on Wal-Mart plus.
I want myaccount cancelled. Every time the people forget something then I have to wait 10 business days for my refund and then have to buy my food again. They left off my two large ground chuck meat and so I had to pay for it again or not get it which is what I needed in the first place. This is not good business and the Walmart supervisor Maria *******7977-4081-0000 could care less. Do not use this service because the driver steals and Walmart charges it back to you.
Can't seem to get my orders on time anymore. The last several orders have been delayed to the point where I've just cancel the entire order. I can drive to a nearby Food Lion and get my groceries if this keeps up. It used to be convenient, but apparently that's not the case anymore.
Walmart has terrible grocery services. I ordered my groceries online and half of the items I ordered were missing. This has happened on multiple occasions. Do not order groceries online from Walmart.
First time ordering Walmart grocery delivery. I thought it would be convenient. Think again. It said my order was delayed, then I didn't hear anything about it for two days. I doubt it was ever coming. I have a time-sensitive meal I have to make, so I had to cancel the order and will have to buy them in person now, wasting money and gas. Beyond pissed. I requested a discount for the late/absent delivery and they only gave me a $5 promocode. I don't plan on buying any food on Walmart.com after this, hate this experience. So not worth the stress. Walmart sucks.
I've been living on a main street in town for 35 years, I get Amazon and UPS and FedEx deliveries every day, yet Uber has never been able to find my house. They only dumped $10 worth of orange juice last time. This time it was my whole grocery order. "Customer service" says I have to wait 48 hours before I can claim it as undelivered. Walmart needs a grownup to get in charge. The little Uber kiddies are incompetent as they can get. W+ may be worth it if you live in Kansas, but it's totally worthless in New Jersey.
Walmart grocery delivery is the worst. For awhile I subscribed to the monthly delivery plan. But I canceled because they kept canceling my orders. I'm not going to pay for a monthly service I can't even use. I placed a order paying 7.95 for the delivery and my order was delayed, over 24 hours later and still no food delivery! I have never had a late order or a canceled order from publix, Amazon fresh or Kroger.
I've been a Walmart+ Customer now nearly three years. There hasn't been one time, not once have they gotten my home delivery right & twice now my groceries weren't delivered to my door, but were marked as delivered and all they've done was hung up on me and offered me nothing, but a $25 store credit. This has got to end!
Answer: Non existent. You get a refund - no redelivery when they screw up. Worthless.
Answer: No one wants to work. Unless you tip well they won't take delivery
Answer: Two wrong addresses in one day with picture proof in tracking that it wasn't even my address number
Answer: Exactly. That was my issue as well. It's very annoying and not very good customer service.
