I use Walmart delivery several times a week. The service is horrible. There is always missing items or the delivery never comes and I have to call to cancel and then reorder. I literally mean every single time there is an issue with their delivery... usually a missing item that I am charged for and then I have to call customer service.
So why do I stay with them. Better prices and because with the yearly membership I get shipping for free on any item. But, when my yearly payment comes up in December, I might just have to cancel and go with Amazon fresh. They are a bit more expensive and do not have the quantity and variety of food that Walmart has, but they always deliver on time without missing items.
My elderly mother took like 2 mins to get to the door, The driver was either from Somalia or ethiopia he starts yelling saying oh were taking up his time and he doesnt have time for this... so rude Walmart needs better delivery people not just hire people because the have a driver's license. This is ridiculous
I have been doing Walmart Grocery for the last five years. During COVID service was inconsistent, but everyone was inconsistent. I order once or twice a week. I hate to grocery shop and Walmart did great. Today I am done. I have called the store 6 times, Done online chat and received call backs with zero resolution. Call centers in other countries makes it worse. They can not understand me and I cannot understand them. I am sure loosing one customer is no big deal, but through I would share.
Walmart services suck! Their customer service both in store associates and representatives are terrible, delivery services, and pick up experiences are slow and almost ALWAYS miss something or are always lazy to shop the entire store and will just tell you something is out. I can then proceed go go into the store and purchase "the out of stock option". I will rather pay more and shop elsewhere. I have had nothing but terrible experiences with an expected issue every single time I shop pick up or delivery grocery option. Waste of time and money. 0 out of 5 star rating.

Walmart's efforts of grocery home delivery fail badly. Poor service, deliver to wrong addresses, very late, no number to call when something goes wrong, poor quality produce if delivery does get there, careless handling of bags, crushed or mangled items, no attention paid to customer delivery instructions. I'm handicapped and forced to use for heavy items but not happy when I have used it. I mostly use Walmart's grocery pickup from store and find that service quite good in my area. Order online and they put order in trunk. No getting out of car
Ordered a grocery delivery for August 16th, never arrived. Status stated delayed. Next few days called several times to customer service about my order and was guaranteed by Walmart store lead my order would be delivered 2 days later between 5-6pm. Order did not arrive. 4 days later I canceled order. Placed another delivery order and it was delayed again. Finally gave up on delivery, canceled it and ordered again but this time for pick up because I assumed they were having issues with drivers... guess what? Delayed again. Completely ridiculous, seems Walmart does not care for you or their Walmart+ service. Truly disappointed
Not the first time I've had problems with the delivery of non food items. Today waiting on three seperate orders. First order was food, instructions for all my deliveries is call when you get here, and I will sign for my orders. I went downstairs in front of buliding where cars and trucks pull in everyday. Received messages their on their way, received message that said arriving now. They never pulled up into driveway, never called me but they sent a message saying "No need to sign" what! My instructions were clear so I immediately called drivers number you guessed it their mailbox was full and of course they never answered my call. The delivery driver name is Michele and this is a habit for this driver. I complained but still have to wait on refund to my credit card. What a waste of my time.
Biggest mistake of my life. Every time either item is missing or you have to wait till 12 at night for delivery when it is supposed to arrive at 5pm. Customer service is a human made of robot inside. Only repeats they are sorry and there is nothing you can do other than cancelling all your plans, and wait all night for their delivery which will probably never come. They give you 10 dollar worth of coupon to lure you in then "reward" you with another 100 dollar worth of headaches and blood pressure rush.
The excuse from Walmart was it's no longer in stock. The truth is: I ordered an instock baby onesie for delivery and was given any date to deliver. What Walmart doesn't tell you is if you don't deliver immediately and the instock item is sold out before the offered delivery date your don't get the present. What I got instead were emails confirming the day to deliver up until the day of delivery then on the day of delivery the item was sold to others. I was refunded my money. I was told by CS that is how Walmart works their system but nowhere was there a warning telling me This is a hidden policy. Walmart does not care about babies, families or the customer because if they did they would tell you the problem with deliveries and product management.
Ordered groceries for my family with the last bit if money we had to get us to pay day. The groceries never did show up even though it was marked delivered. Called customer service and was told that my postal code was wrong even though in my profile it was the same as my address. I was told there was nothing they could do. Meanwhile we have no money or groceries to feed our children. After 6 hours and 3 customer service agents who would repeatedly tell me to wait 2 more hours, 2 more hours while my children are starving eventually issued me a refund. Refunds don't show in your account for days and for some reason they just couldn't re deliver my order? So I had to asked my neighbors for help with food for 4 days so my children starve. Multi million dollar corporation couldn't just delivery my groceries would rather have children go hungry, never ever again will I step foot in walmart.
Often when I order, they deliver items I didn't order and don't deliver ones I need. With a little effort online or on the phone, I can get a refund. But, they will not bring me the missing items, but instead instruct me to come pick them up. Why should I have to, over and over, complete a refund process then go pick up an order when I've paid extra and a tip to have items delivered?
I have been a prime + member for about 3 years. I pay my membership every year. I literally spend a thousand dollars per month just on groceries. That is not to mention other stuff i buy through WM. Every time the wind blows, we get cold weather, or there is a holiday i cant seem to get groceries delivered. The explanation is always that they contract out to drivers and they have no drivers or they are waiting for drivers to come in. I pay my fee to WM. I dont care about contracted drivers. If they cant contract with people that can do the job, WM needs to find someone who can. My agreement and contract is with WM. They have failed the contract. We should get compensation for our time when WM breeches their duties. Do Better WM.
Constantly late, they have the dash and Uber and it's a joke, Walmart have the nerves to offer in home delivery, a nother joke. Majority of the driver's are incompetent, but so is Walmart. I stick with Amazon and Kroger for most of my orders and I can count on one finger how many times I had issues. Walmart maybe less expensive but the headaches come with them. Amazon and Kroger have a higher standard when it comes to employees and contractors. Listen Take it from me unless you're physically shopping at Walmart, do not order groceries online, you might get your groceries delivered a few times on time, once you get comfortable believe me it starts steam rolling. Never ends. I learned my lesson.
Walmart may have good prices but they have poor customer service and on line order policies. Both times I ordered they did not have the correct item and they made no attempt to substitute because there scanning process didn't show anything yet they were looking right at the item. Some excuse about on line and in store stock not being the same. They want to save items for in store shoppers even though you are paying more for the shopper and delivery. Makes no sense. Use shipt they bend over backwards to get you everything you need and communicate with you during the whole process.
A few years ago this was the way to go. Ordering was easy, items arrived in tack and if there was any issues Walmart quickly took care of it. Not so much now for the last 6 deliveries, the all had to be canceled. 10pm still waiting on a delivery all to find out it sends a message canceled per customer request! I did not cancel the order. I even reordered the sane items for the next day and still got a "Sorry your order is delayed " if you can find delivery drivers then just stop the service!
I wanted to try Walmart Plus and I finally did and 5 out of 9 deliveries were cancelled by Walmart because they couldn't get drivers or just didn't feel like delivering. It just says cancelled with no explanation. I cancelled Walmart Plus after the last non delivery. Honestly the other perks are not worth it as it was between Paramount plus that worked on my phone but, would not register with my Roku tv and their 10 cents gas perk was no good either as gas stations closer to me are about 10-15 cents cheaper than the store that walmart deals with.
A friend of mine ordered a bunch of gatorade to be delivered because I have Covid. They substituted 9 out of 10 items. Are you kidding me? They also left the 8 packs of Gatorade sitting on the concrete outside my door. Hardly sanitary but they're too lazy to double bag anything. Which leads me to 6 20 ounce bottles of gatorade stuffed into one thin Walmart bag. When I picked it up the whole bottom fell out and I had to run around in the cold and wind gathering them up. Did I mention I have Covid? I'm too sick to fight with them about it. But they were lazy and ineffective in my order. Keep up the horrible work, Walmart.
So dissatisfied with Walmart Delivery. I thought it may help us save time and money but it usually ends up in a headache with me trying to contact customer service and track down my order. I cannot believe they charge for a service of such poor quality. When I canceled less than a month into it, they refused to give me any money back and told me I would have the service for the entire year but it wouldn't automatically renew. Amazon is SO MUCH better! Save yourself the stress and don't bother ordering from Walmart unless you plan to go pick it up.
Yeah absolutely not. I have never had a bad experience with anything the way I have with Walmarts grocery delivery system. The first order was delayed and I was told by three different people that it was on the way. I ended up having to cancel after waiting all day. This was 10 o'clock at night. The next day I used it again because customer service had provided me a $10 voucher (so kind, wow $10. So generous of a billion dollar corporation to give out) and once again after paying for express delivery this time. It was still delayed. I shouldn't be surprised since it is Walmart, but holy hell. I can't believe how terrible this system is.
This has to be the worst grocery delivery I have ever experienced. At first they're pretty good now or the last 4 months it's been nothing but a hassle I'm actually hurt us financially and physically. Before when I place an order if an item wasn't available it would say item not available and I be refunded now if I make an order it's canceled and they tell me most items were out of stock. You're telling me barbecue sauce dog food and normal Essentials that are always there when I have an option to replace if necessary are all gone? Not only that they take your money and then won't refund it for a few days if that's the only grocery money you have how are you going to eat? That's why I say they heard us physically. Just tonight I made an order for a 2-hour delivery which was available, a 30 item order, and was told only two items were available in the whole store and was told to remedy that they would give us a $10 credit that is completely unacceptable do not order from them
Answer: Non existent. You get a refund - no redelivery when they screw up. Worthless.
Answer: No one wants to work. Unless you tip well they won't take delivery
Answer: Two wrong addresses in one day with picture proof in tracking that it wasn't even my address number
Answer: Exactly. That was my issue as well. It's very annoying and not very good customer service.
