They take your order on line- easy- then they don't show up during their agreed time frame- after a couple of correspondences with customer service and a promise of delivery in 1 hour ( already 4 hours late)-
Never showed up- they cancelled my order without any notice.
Went on line with Safeway at 5PM and had grocery delivery at 8. Cheaper too. Good bye Walmart- you lost a loyal customer. And- they keep your money for +-7 days, even though THEY cancelled my order.
I have been using Walmart delivery for some time now, and lately it's been a nightmare. I'm still waiting for a delivery promised an hour ago. Another item they tried to deliver was just cancelled because the driver (after calling me five times) couldn't find my address. Unacceptable! Also, they don't seem to care.
I never get everything I order. The last several orders I did were not complete. I drove right back up to the store and purchased what I didn't recieve. All in stock. I think they should train those people that pull the order to stay 9ff there ce phones and pay attention to what's needed. I mean come on no chicken at Walmart? Drove up there today and guess what lots of chicken breast that I ordered. But the picker said out of stock. Wallmart your grocery ordering system.is broken. Jump on instacart. I finally had to cancel my Walmart+ subscription because every delivery was just ruining my day. I would place an order days in advance and yet my orders would ALWAYS be late. Sometimes by an entire day! The substitutions were ridiculous. No Walmart, peaches are NOT a substitute for apples, and I'm not sure if you're aware, but chicken stock isn't the same as vegetable stock. I never actually got a complete order. Items were consistently out of stock. Dude, it's the 21st century they have programs to keep track of stock. Most stores use them.
After I canceled my subscription I decided to give pick up one last try. I placed an order days in advance, got a notice 15 minutes before my scheduled pick up time that my order was ready. I show up and every bay is full. I check in, and wait 15 minutes. In that time people start leaving, but no associates are coming out to bring orders. I call the number posted on the bay and it SENDS ME TO A FULL VOICEMAIL! I open a customer service chat and he says he will call the store. Turns out their own customer service agents can't get them on the phone.
I open my instacart cart app, place the exact same order and am pleasantly surprised find it's $10 cheaper. Yay!
I cancel my Walmart order (it's been 30 minutes now) and as I'm pulling out I finally see an associate coming out with her blue crates. I check to see if they might be mine. Nope. They are for only one person. Keep in mind all the bays are full and so is overflow. I hear someone yelling they've been waiting for over two hours! Seriously two hours!
By the time I get home, my Instacart order is waiting. No substitutions needed.

Several times I did not receive my order, or my order was just not delivered and or was delivered to the wrong address and send a picture of someone else's door with my grocery sitting there. Today was no different. When it is delivered I get expired goods, dented cans and fruit and vegetables that are rotting. SERVICE IS AWFUL..
I've used Walmart delivery for over 2 yrs. The last two orders have led me to never use the service again. They cancelled my order last month without me knowing about it. Yesterday I had a delivery time of 3:15pm. They never showed up. When I called, they said it would be delivered today. It is now almost noon. I checked my checking account and noticed the debit for the order plus a debit for $98. I asked for a refund and found out the $98 was for a subscription delivery service that I had not asked for. Felt like a low key robbery. Wish I had been deligent in the past about Walmart. Now must wait 5 days for refunds to clear. Now I know why Walmart has so much money.

When I first started using the grocery delivery it was relatively easy, and orders would usually come within the time frame that they were supposed to. Fast forward 9 months, and they rarely have openings within the next two to three days, and more often than not they do not show up when they're supposed to I've had to cancel and reorder things because my order never showed up and the lady at the 1-800 number said it might not show so it's better to just have to reorder wait another few days. The customer service has gotten really bad with them just saying oh sorry it's just high demand, when another customer service agent said that they just didn't have drivers in the evenings at my store so who knows what the real issue is. They're always out of stock on things too, frequently they'll have the item in stock when you add it but then you'll get an email that you have all these things unavailable right as the order is coming. Look elsewhere for grocery delivery.
Walmart grocery and delivery has some serious issues they are a big joke think before you become a member you call in and ask about a certain item that you ordered you get cussed at they're very rude I have three refunds that I'm supposed to get I have not received none of them it's been 3 weeks look elsewhere before you become a member they're a big joke don't take this message lately
This is the third time that I'm missing items from my order. I only ordered like 4 times from them. Last time ended my relationship with Walmart. Not only did the driver place my order in front of my neighbor's door, I knew half of my items were missing when I saw the package delivered pictures. There were only 4 bags, but I ordered around $180 worth of stuff for a small party/gettogether. A Tetris Champion wouldn't have been able to fit all that stuff into 4 bags. Getting a refund or complaining about an order is brutal. It's like pulling teeth. They don't make it easy compared to DoorDash. Expect to be on the phone for a while as they waste your time. They refunded me $113 worth of stuff that was missing, but I'm just waiting on that to get deposited in my account. They don't even have the decency to give you a 5%-10% off coupon towards your next order for all your troubles. Needless to say, the party sucked since over half my items were missing. How does that even happen?
The icing on the cake is that even though an order would get canceled, the driver still gets the tip whether they delivered your order or not. I guess since you're billed separately for the tip, that still gets taken out of your account after an order has been canceled. Regarding a previous small delivery order that never showed up and got canceled, I called and asked why I was deducted $8 from my bank towards the Walmart driver tip 3 days after the order was canceled, but they were clueless and kept insisting that the order was canceled. I kept saying I know that, but the delivery part didn't get canceled and I was charged today! We went back and forth and I got nowhere so I gave up. I wonder how many other people this happened to.
9 times out of 10 you place your order and then a few hours before you expect it to be delivered you see substitutions for the most important items or it is simply out of stock and you are screwed. Also, they just re-did their website and the first day with the new look and feel ALL OF THEIR PRICES WERE JACKED WAY UP! Plus, they cut way back on delivery drivers so instead of having available delivery dates 2 days later you now have to wait a WEEK if you are lucky. So I shopped my meats waited a week and now today - 45 minutes before expected delivery I find OOOPS! OUT OF MEAT! SORRY SUCKER! And this is after rationing my existing food to make it last a week because my delivery dates used to be only 2 or 3 day wait but this time I had to wait 8 days for an availability. So this week I will be eating pasta and hot dogs instead of pork loin and chicken.
I gave a one because there are no number less than one. I am furious and appault at the so call service drom wallmart. I live a very busy life i thought grocery delivery would save me time, bur receiving subpart items uncobsummable items is not what any shouls pay for. I have received rotten fruits and vegetables. When try to resolve it with the store no success. This is a sham... you are basically paying full prixe for items no one wants rotten stuffs. Save your membership money do not sign up for this service.
I use Walmart delivery several times a week. The service is horrible. There is always missing items or the delivery never comes and I have to call to cancel and then reorder. I literally mean every single time there is an issue with their delivery... usually a missing item that I am charged for and then I have to call customer service.
So why do I stay with them. Better prices and because with the yearly membership I get shipping for free on any item. But, when my yearly payment comes up in December, I might just have to cancel and go with Amazon fresh. They are a bit more expensive and do not have the quantity and variety of food that Walmart has, but they always deliver on time without missing items.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Put in a delivery order on Thursday for Friday delivery. Got message "Order Delayed" on Friday when it went past delivery window. Hit the contact us button to talk to someone. (Btw, contact people off-shore.) First someone said I would receive by 8 pm. Friday night came and went. Here it is Saturday, called again, at which time agent said,"To be honest, your order isn't going to make it." I canceled and ordered from local grocer here in Reno, NV. Save yourself time, energy, aggravation. Don't bother with this useless delivery service from Walmart.
I've been a customer for online delivery from Walmart ever since the whole covid thing happened. Since then, I've had nothing but trouble from ordering from them. Several times they've delivered to the wrong address. Sometimes, they don't even deliver at all and say they have no record of your order ever being placed despite charging you. More times than I can count I have received damaged items with safety seals broken. It's absolutely ridiculous. I have a membership but I'm canceling.
You know what they say: insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different result. Yep, that's what I have done with Walmart. When their delivery service first started I thought Yayyy! I am a senior and it is difficult to go grocery shopping and even more difficult getting the groceries into my house. I thought Walmart would be the answer. The first 2-3 times (when they first began offering this service) it was great. So I joined Walmart+. BAD DECISION. After joining, sometimes my orders were 2-4 hrs late and one was never delivered at all -- the cancelled the whole order after I waited for hours because they didn't have anyone lined up to deliver it! So, service was offered and bought but not delivered. Still, here I am ordering again. I just got the email: ORDER DELAYED. This is received after the order was to already be at my door. They choice they give me: continue waiting, cancel, or return the items after I receive them. I am fuming. That was not a choice, but I imagine it is a popular response.
I have used this service x4 now, and stopped. Every single time, items are missing, they say are not in store. Not true! They are…. Just timed or too lazy to include them. YET THEY CHARGE ADDITIONAL FEES AND DO NOT REIMBURSE as in express service…esp if half of them missing! Ridiculous.
Changing the store I ordered from in the choices for my zip code…. Made a TREMENDOUS difference! Things are so much better, excellent delivery now…. Try that and see if it works for you…and even more funny, doing pickup after they shop for me, at this new store I changed to, EVERY item is in the order…. Seems certain stores just do not have good employees…
I tried to give them a second chance, but let down again. I'm done.
I place my orders hours in advance. We go past the delivery time, it never updates. I used the chat and was assured it was still coming until they tell me the store closed, which wasn't true. I know ‘fool me once"

Walmart's efforts of grocery home delivery fail badly. Poor service, deliver to wrong addresses, very late, no number to call when something goes wrong, poor quality produce if delivery does get there, careless handling of bags, crushed or mangled items, no attention paid to customer delivery instructions. I'm handicapped and forced to use for heavy items but not happy when I have used it. I mostly use Walmart's grocery pickup from store and find that service quite good in my area. Order online and they put order in trunk. No getting out of car
Answer: Non existent. You get a refund - no redelivery when they screw up. Worthless.
