When I rent a car from greenmotion at Austria, Vienna Airport.
When I turn on engine, engin light and maintenance light is on.
So I asked changed similar car, but they don't have any.
I asked cancel and money back, the staff cancel right a way.
I came back from vacation last Saturday.
They don't money back.
I sent a e-mail greenmotion and Priceline.
So Priceline request money back to greenmotion but they denied.
They are illegally hold 1075.24 Canadian dollar and not refund.
Please don't take high risk from Greenmotion.

O que me levou a escolher a GreenMotion foi o fato de aceitarem cartao de debito para o pagamento da reserva.
Ao contratar o veiculo fiz o seguro total e teria em.
Plus GPS e INTERNET. O GPS não foi possivel, o que levou a erros de direção pois em certas áreas a internet nao funcionava.
O atendimento da equipe é PERFEITO, porém a gerencia precisa colocar mais funcionarios para atender, pelo menos 2 por turno para recepcão e entrega.

We rented from Green Motion in Edinburgh, Scotland April 14-21st. On the last morning of our vacation before leaving, we got a flat tire from road debris. We were stuck all day sitting in the van with our 86 year old mother with no food or bathrooms. Tried several times calling the emergency # on the key ring, the offices, road services etc. With no assistance at all. We were told by the rental car location multiple times they could not help us. Change the tire yourself they said, well yes we would have if there was a lug wrench in the van. There wasn't. We asked that they bring us one, nope can't leave the office, can't give our names, can't give the manager's name or put us through. They claimed they sent a service maintenance company, of which never showed. We lost a whole day of vacation spent dealing with these unhelpful folks and sitting in a vehicle. We had to purchase a new tire and pay to have it put on once we were able to obtain an angel of a taxi driver who took us to a tire shop prior to them closing at 6pm. This was the worst customer service I've ever had to deal with in any country that I have visited. I strongly do not recommend them for your car rental. I strongly suggest using a different rental car service. Once we finally got a hold of the main office of Green Motion representative Angela (i believe), she said she had no notification of an emergency call or issues from us. Green Motion employees were horribly rude to us and were not helpful or understanding at all. We requested that they refund us at least the whole day of lost vacation time, but pretty sure they will ignore that as well and not provide any refund. Sadly this is honestly the first time I have ever had to make a bad review of a company. Please take heed, DO NOT rent from them!

Answer: I have used them many times, always cheapest, always very new cars, always charming and helpful staff ( Stansted Airport). Every firm will try to get you to upgrade. Buy a 3rd party policy, and just say you have your own cover. Up to now I have never been scammed. I ALWAYS inspect the vehicle before. I drive off. I take photos and make sure I get it inspected and signed off by staff when I take it back.
Answer: Speeding/parking tickets and police action are slow. They keep the deposit until they are sure there will be no problems with any of those costs. (and yeah, would be speeding fine + massive green motion fee).

I can confirm that security deposits are automatically released by Green Motion on the last day of your rental after it has been established that the rental vehicle has been returned in the same condition as it was provided, and there are no further outstanding charges. Whilst in most cases this is available again within 10 working days, unfortunately, this can take up to 30 days depending on the bank that you use. We suggest that you contact your bank as they may be able to speed this process up for you. Green Motion's policy is to use pre-authorised transactions for our security deposits, which ring-fence the amount within your account, not charge it. This pre-authorised transaction will allow us to make charges if necessary at the end of the rental, but unless this occurs no money will leave your account. Due to the nature of this transaction, the release of these funds may not show on your bank statement as a separate transaction. If you believe that you have been charged your security deposit, please contact your bank and ask them to provide proof of the transaction as a charge on the first day of your rental so that we can look further into this for you. Answer: I believe Green Motion are a perfectly fair and respectful company. I suspect you didn't read their Ts&Cs properly. The two customers being served while I was collecting my car had also not read/understood the conditions and were caught by surprise. The representative dealt with them firmly but fairly.
