Graingernissan

Presented 2010 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X to Nissan Grainger, 1550 Chatham Parkway, Garden City Ga ******* on 05/29/2025 with check engine light and vehicle stuttering on acceleration. Recieved the attached quote with the reason stated being the catalytic converter needed to be replaced. Paid $6921. 42 after repairs. Vehicle was picked up and en route to residence (approx 30 miles). After approx 20 miles check engine light starts to flash and vehicle shakes violently. Pulled vehicle into parking lot and called for another tow to closer garage. After evaluation at Johnson Automotive ( 1398 GA Highway 21 S, Springfield, GA *******) was told by technician that symptoms described would not be caused by a catalytic converter but by some other problem. Johnson automotive diagnosed vehicle with oil in cylinders and engine needed to be replaced or rebuilt. I believe I was sold parts and repairs that were not necessary and Graingers failure to properly evaluate my vehicle led to more damage than the truck was presented to them with.
