Makes me mad

This new app is the worse! The original was so easy. The prices for the courses appear to have increased. I will never use this app again. If it works dont fix it!

You used to be able to call and speak with a helpful rep. Now everything is web based, and if you have problem- tough. You will not get a refund, your money is lost.

I find it so strange that you spend money on a Tee time- say at 12:00. Something happens so the course can't provide you with that Tee time. Now you have already paid for a round of golf, BUT the course will not move that time up to an open slot. They want you to pay again.

There is a reason golf has been slowly dying. GolfNow is adding to the problem.
I won't use them again, and takes away my desire to get out on the course.

I reserve three or four tee times a week... they advertise you can change or cancel before you play and just pay the fee... total BS I tried to change tee times less than an hour after booking only to be told I wasnt elgible and the response included points equalling discounts monday thru thursday... if you work they are giving you nothing cant play then... so a total Bull#$%^ experience save your time call the course directly

Booked a round of "hot deal" with Golfnow and upon arrival to the course to find out the course is closed. Call GolfNow to get my money back, first number just keep telling me to go to web site and hung up, finally locate a diff. Number and after on hold for 10mins talking to a person whom didn't care to help. Told him about situation and he told me "as of yesterday, cancellation and refund must be done via the web and you will get your money in 5 days". I kept asking him to assist especially after a long hold and wasted 30 mins of drive to the golf course. He refused. Got on the web site and there is not even a way to cancel or request a refund (I even follow their FAQ link which is a dead end). Email *******@golfnow.com and got a auto-responder. A week later still no one assist me with refund. Filed complaint with BBB and no reply. Had to dispute to credit card company! Save yourself some trouble and skip golfnow!

So, I bought a round of golf on Golfnow and with that round came a "Free" lunch. I pay the balance and there is a $2.00 extra fee on my receipt.
I ask what that is and the gentleman tells me it's the gratuity for my lunch.
I'm thinking a waitress, menu etc... but NO it's a little buffet with loafs of bread, cold cuts, macaroni salad, tuna salad etc... all self service too.
Now I'm thinking I'll bet she doesn't get that $2.00 and it's Bent Tree's way of paying for that " FREE " lunch. I kind of blame Golfnow also because it's a hidden charge that they spring on you after you've paid the balance at the course. I would strongly recommend NOT buying a round of golf at Bent Tree on Golf now... the final total you pay (as listed) is NOT the final total you pay.

Nonrefundable
March 24, 2018

Beware, if you book a sale tee time, it is nonrefundable even with 24 hours notice. No where on the page that displays the rate does it say that. But once you check, agree to terms of service, just kiss your money goodbye. Will never use again.

I earned over 800 GolfNow points playing the same course in Palm Beach, Florida. I currently have 4 unused rewards totaling $40. It appears when GolfNow rolled out their new expensive reservation program they decided to change the rules on the use of their rewards, I assume to drive people to buy their new program. First they required non members could only use the rewards on their Hot deals. Then they added that the rewards could only be used Monday-Thursday. Further they required the rewards had to be used on Hot Deals after 12 noon. The course where I earned the 800 points does not have any Hot deals after noon. I complained and was told if I joined the VIP program and paid $197 I could use the reward dollars... what a surprise! GolfNow is owned by COMCAST... a word to the wise.

Attempted to make a reservation at a local golf course then was bumped into this site. Booked reservation and email confirmation was sent for wrong day. Immediately called back and was told nothing could be changed or credited. Will call credit card to dispute charge as soon as it posts. This is not reservation service, but a wholesaler of off peak tee times. Don't use this site it will ruin your golf game.

Sucks

Booked tee times, paid, and got confirmation. Then got to course and found Golf now had moved my tee time up 30 minutes. We made our tee time but with no practice time and had to rush. They turned a nice golf day into frustration. No wonder golf is going down the flusher!

VIP Fraud

It says automatic 25% after playing a round but when you use your credit from cancellation or reward point, there's no 25% and they said we earned the point only dollar amount we spend. They said they changed without any notice about this that was totally different than the deal when I purchased.
Never buy and never recommend. Such a jerk people from the bad service.
It's totally FRAUD.
AD on VIP info are all not true and FRAUD

A Very Dangerous Website
February 24, 2018

Working on line selected wrong date for a "Hot Deal" tee time for 233.47. Recognized my error right away, cancelled and made a regular pay tee time for 376.82. Golf Now recognized my cancellation by email but still charged me for both bookings and refused to correct. In addition a snow storm delayed my arrival by 24 hours and again I was charged for the tee time. All the locals advise booking for deals on the day you play and not in advance with Golfnow. I will never use them again!

I just got ripped off.

I paid $100 for a year's VIP membership because they said I would get $100 in discounts on hot deals with 3 days advance booking. Now I found out that it is only good Monday through Thursday after 2 pm! I can't even get 18 holes in and there are not even any hot deals offered at that time now. RIP OFF!

GolfNow no longer lists there 800# on there website and have eliminated online chats. Finally found there number from my phone and requested a supervisor to handle promo code issue. After a long wait the connection was lost. Customer service is deplorable. Finally talked to a supervisor who could not point me to anywhere on there website where I could actually contact someone to have a dispute resolved.

Rip off!

They charged 48% fee for booking a 9 hole tee time. Neither the 9 holes or fee were disclosed until after booking. I immediately cancelled with the course only for golfnow to refuse refunding the fee. Absolute rip off of a service. Stay away from this deception. I wish I would have looked it up first to see an overwhelming 1 star review. Supreme Golf supports this and has no way of rectifying a booking.

Help Customer Service!

Unable to contact customer service re phone. Waited an excessive length of time and then opted to have a call back. The call back rang once and was terminated. I went through this procedure several times with the same result. I am now trying to contact them again re promotion codes. I left a new call back number in hopes that this call will ring more than once before terminating. On the positive, I have had no problems with any of my bookings other than being shut out when entering a promo code which meant I had to start over with my booking. Customer service is sooooo important. My rating reflects my experience with this department.

I have called them 6 times since 12/29/17.and never got through to anyone. Today I was waiting 56 minutes and no one picked up. CaLled last Thursday 1/4/18 and their recording said press 1 and they will call back. No one has called back. I finally got through by using the prompt that I was golf course calling and my complaint would be forwarded to their " help team". So we,'ll see.

How hard can it be?!?! Help people search for a available tee time at various golf courses and book it. That is the whole point of golfnow.com and for some reason, they can't even get that right. I booked twice and both times it was cancelled for no reason whatsoever. Received email indicating 'Your reservation is unable to be accommodated at this time.' The second cancellation was done less than an hour before my tee time. I found out when checking in at the course. Handed the reservation printout to the proshop and they said my reservation is not on their list. Wasted time and gas for me and my friends. Why would anyone use your unreliable system? Like many who left a review, would give zero star if I could.

Bad customer service
December 27, 2017

1. Today I called several times and they never answered for more than 15minutes each time.
2. Golf course closed due to bad weather for my prepaid tee time reservation. When I called Golfnow, they said I could choose another option which provide discount promotion codes equal to $60 value and 12 golf balls instead of refund. Golf balles never arrived and promotion codes never worked.
The promotion code says;
"Invalid Promo Code
Were sorry - the code you entered is not valid for the selected tee time. To view the complete rules and a list of courses that are excluded from this promotion, visit http://promotions.golfnow.com/."

When I checked the course and it wasn't on the excluded list. I tried different courses on different dates. Nothing worked.

3. To complain these, I called again and nobody answered so far. I checked online to send email, but couldn't find any customer service email address or link. When I check my email inbox message from Golfnow.com, all were not possible to reply.
What a garbage customer service!
