Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing

We notified Goettl, January 21,2023 to reseat the toilet. A young nice man came out,found a leak, and then charged us $518.00 and left. He stated that a rebuild company would finish the job. No toilet has been reset, a hole in the floor and a hole in the wall where the stool sat. We are a retired couple barely getting by.

I had them install a water softener and tankless heater a little while back. During the install they broke some gym equipment rather than moving it. It was easily movable and I had told them beforehand to come get me if they needed anything moved as I was home during the install

As an offer to make things "better" they put us on some kind of protection/service plan. We used this to get our AC checked before it got hot for summer. Their technician told us everything was ok. Our AC just died in the middle of the night and when I called them about it, they said they wouldn't be able to look at it for several days.

Awful company with awful technicians and awful customer service. Stay far away.

Met this company at the 2024 Las Vegas spring home show and they talked me into coming to my home to complete a "rejuvenation" of my HVAC unit. They were scheduled to come out on Tuesday, April 9th between 9 and 1. At 2:30 I received a call that they weren't going to be able to make it and ask to reschedule. We agreed on first thing Friday, April 12th between 8 and 9 so that I would be the first on their schedule. At 8:36 I received a text, NO CALL, stating that they were experiencing complications and had an influx of calls and that I would need to call their office to reschedule. I will never be using Goettl since this is obviously the way they treat their customers.

They will rip you off do not use this company. I called them to repair my AC unit which wasn't cooling. Goettl charged me $225 to replace some burned wires. It took the tech about 30 min to do this so that is a labor charge of $450 per hour. They charged me $320 to replace a "starter capacitor". I looked up this part on the internet and this is a $10 to $20 item. They charged me $510 to replace a "line filter dryer". I looked up this part on the internet and this is a $25 to $45 item. They charged me $846 to recharge my system with 9 lbs of R410a at $94 per lb. The internet told me that most AC units need 2-4 lbs to recharge the refrigerant which would be a MAX charge of $376. My total bill was $2400. I give them 1 star because my AC unit is cooling now.

On Friday, October 7,2022, I had my annual maintenance for my Goettl Air Conditioner. Goettl Technician, Daniel Castor, did an outstanding job. From the time he arrived until he finished, he was all business. He was thorough, answering my questions and explaining what he waw doing. When he was done, he showed me photos of everything he encountered and the condition of the air conditioner. When the hot weather returns next year, I'm confident my air conditioner will work well. In addition to his technical expertise, Daniel was friendly and courteous.

Do NOT use Goettl. They charged me $34,000 for a new roof AC & ductwork in June 2023. CA law requires HERS testing of ductwork - Goettl failed twice. Los Angeles requires LADBS inspection - Goettl failed and now wants me to allow them to do roof work that will void the warranty for my new roof, because they say the AC unit needs a guardrail installed on the roof. They also have not provided me with an itemized invoice, and they refuse to explain why they cannot send one.

Today, I hired Goettl to perform some plumbing work for me. Your company sent Douglass Rivera to do the work. I had a clogged toilet. Douglas checked the problem, did the necessary trouble shooting and based on his findings, suggested I considered replacing my toilet. Which I did. It was an old toilet and needed replacing. Douglas explained everything everything as he went along. He is an outstanding employee and is a credit to tour company!..

Ignacio Hernandez came to inspect our new AC system. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. We're very satisfied with our AC system and the Goettl company. Thanks for keeping us cool!

I live in Southern California in an area not served by Goettl. Based upon the reviews I have read I am glad I don't. I listen to KFI radio in Los Angeles and I hear Goettl ads patting themselves on the back every 10 minutes. If I hear the flashlight story one more time I will scream! I have a policy never to deal with a company that spends a huge amount on advertising, because they will cut corners somewhere, probably on your job. Good luck to you folks in Phoenix!

They quoted me a price of between 10,000-14,000 for a 4 ton unit. I called another company who couldn't believe the price. Needless to say this man was a blessing for me. All he said I needed was a contractor which he put in for me for 200.00. I definitely recommend Trails End Air conditioning 100 percent. I am so frustrated with Goettl. They had the nerve to charge me 49.00 for a service call. I am a senior on a fixed income how dare they quote me such a horrific price.

Set appointment in May after previous appointment no show... day of scheduled visit they at least call and cancel... to reschedule for next month... hum you rate it

Thanks to Gabriel And Brenden I gave goettle 5 star review. They hung in there when it wasn't going too smoothly. Worked long hours with no complaints. Excellent attitudes. They were a little new to the Tankless unit they installed but several times admitted openly to "my bad "mistakes. And an thumbs up for the company to send out a supervisor to double check their work before signing off on the project We won't know for while about the tankless affectiveness but we did enjoy the two young men around the house. Three times Goettl has canceled on us or has not shown up. They always have an excuse. The one they used the first two times was that they were too busy. If you're that busy, don't make appointments you can't keep! Today when they called and canceled our appointment scheduled for tomorrow, December 28th, it was because everyone has omicron. Ok, I'll give them that one, maybe. But rather than offer us something for the inconvenience, the person who called just hung up on my husband. WE WILL NEVER USE GOETTL AGAIN, NEVER. Their customer service is less than mediocre and rude. I will be telling everyone I know to stay away from this company.

Was overcharged for a roof air conditioner in Sun City West, AZ.
Unit was installed within hours of signing, unable to rescind.

I had my first annual plumbing inspection today and was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism; knowledge and transparency of that inspection by John - from Phoenix AZ. Thanks you Goettl - I know I spent a pretty penny on my HVAC system but its worth it for the customer service!

I highly do not recommend Goettl to anyone! They sold me a lemon 2 years ago and I have nothing but problems with it and now I'm out 10,000 for the purchase and another 881.00 for repairs.

My name is Farris H. Burke, I would like to thank James and Benton, the two technicians from Goettl heating and cooling, that came to my home due to a heating issue I was having with my furnace. As a team they did a great job diagnosing the problem I was having with my furnace and repairing it. Both were very professional, came earlier than expected and now I have heat. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Elvin & Kevin were the Technicians that installed the drain in a very professional manner. I was very pleased with their work. I would recommend them anytime.
