We called on 8/19 before placing a large appliance order and were told that we would ha e them in a couple weeks. Our credit card was charged immediately. We kept gettng different information and delays about when we would get the order. Customer service never follows up like they say they will. We kept being told our order was in Transit. Now the delivery company calls every 2 hours with dumb questions like of our front step is 17" and how wide our door is. It is Sept 20 and still no delivery. Bottom line, spend a little more money and shop somewhere else where you'll get good service.
While they may be cheaper, you pay for it in frustration and struggles. I wouldn't buy a light bulb from these guys again. Roughly 50 (yes 50) emails back and forth, 2 service calls, had to pay for repairs to a shipping damaged item out of pocket and hope they reimburse us along with not getting the services we paid for. Could not have been a worse experience if they made a dedicated effort to make it so. Do yourself a favor and buy from someone local and who can't hide behind email.
I went with Goedeker's because of the prices, so in that way it was worth it. Also, customer support is generally helpful (though I had a couple instances where they handled my request but never let me know, leaving me to follow up). Delivery is a total hassle, however. You might get 24 hours notice, or they might be angry when they claim to give you 24 hours notice but they've shown up to your house and you aren't there. Certain things can't be delivered on weekends (but some can, so that doesn't make great sense to me) I'm not completely sure the low prices were worth it.
This is the 5th time we have bought on line with Goedeker's and everytime has been as promised, with the exception of an Idaho delivery in 2015 and it was delayed by 2 weeks because they had lost a delivey partner (trucking company) and had to arrange for a new one. They kept me informed as to their progress and I finally received my appliances in good condition.
I ordered a washer and dryer set in Aug with a promised install date of 9/1.9/2 I called and they said they had a part back ordered. I've called multiple times since then (now Oct) and was told last week they shipped and should have installed this week. I word from them and I can't reach them - super long hold times on phone and slow response via email. 5e sales guy was very responsive on sales but has now ignored all other contact. Worse service for a company - don't know how they stay in business. I should've cancelled earlier. Buyer beware.
I have lost count how many times I have waited on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes usually closer to an hour. Fact, there order line picks up much faster, they are very ready to take your hard earned cash but customer service is much lower on the priority list. I have been promised call backs, not received them. I have never in my life had such frustrating and inept service. In the meantime they have had my money 3 months and I still have not received what I ordered. ADVICE: Buy locally at a brick and mortar is my advice, dealing with Geodeker's will remain one of the most frustrating shopping experiences EVER! (as I write this I have been on hold for 55 minutes and counting...)
Ordered my first item from Goedeker's. A black stainless steel French door refrigerator. The order took about 3 weeks from ordering online to delivery. The refrigerator was delivered on time, without a scratch and works great. Best part was the price and no tax.
I purchased a refrigerator which was on back order so it took 8 weeks to receive it. White glove delivery which you pay extra for got me two doors and the freezer drawer on bottom scratched and dented. It took me another 21/2 mos. To receive doors. They sent one at a time over a period of 21/2 months. But I did save some money, so when I got ready to purchase washer and dryer I called them again. Lowes had same set on sale Labor Day for $749 each so all I was doing was saving taxes. Well when I got my credit card statement they had charged me $829 each! They said they couldn't find my recorded conversation. How f-ing convenient. So I ended up paying $160 more than if I had gotten it at Lowes. They are a rip off!
Ordered dishwasher on 27 June. E-mail from 21 July said I should have dishwasheer by 28 July -- still 2 weeks later than told when purchased. Still not delivered on 30 July. Multiple phone calls and e-mails to customer service with not one reply. Last time I buy from these clowns. I may even cancel this order and buy again from a reputable company.
This is my second large appliance purchase from Goedeker's. Both purchases, the price was the best on the web, free shipping and no sales tax! Delivery was professional, undamaged and on-time with great communication! I will recommend Goedecker's to everyone I know...
In all honesty I hoped for my order to take less than 30 days to arrive but in all fairness it was nice to save money and the taxes. Lowe's would price match but not on the taxes. In our case it was a few hundred bucks, lowes would have been faster. The fridge and oven arrived slightly damaged, fridge was on the lower back side which was not worth to fuss about. The oven has a slight ding in the front door which I had not noticed until I installed. Bottom line if you are on to wait for your purchase, go for it. If you're on a time constraint then shop brick and mortar.
After I wrote the negative review I noticed their website says to contact Mr. Goedeker if there is a problem. I did contact him and he did immediately solve my problem. He gave me full credit, arranged for return shipping, and sent me an appropriate model.
I ordered a Bosch dishwasher from Goedekers which their website clearly labels as not ADA Compliant. Received dishwasher and noticed that it is smaller than a typical dishwasher. Called Bosch and was told this is an ADA compliant dishwasher and has less capacity than a non-ADA compliant model. I emailed Bosch documentation to Goedekers pointing out their website error and had follow up phone calls but they only tell me that I received the dishwasher that I ordered. They will not acknowledge their error and now I'm stuck with a small, expensive dishwasher.
Almost 4 weeks after ordering An entire suite of appliances (5) we were told they would not deliver for free. It was an additional 250.00. By that time we lost the opportunity to take advantage of significant sales from other venders. It took an additional 5 weeks for the appliances to get close to our location and as the contractor were scheduled, in the end we had to rent a trailer and pick them up our selves.
Just dont believe all the claims. And they are completely unapologetic about the issues.
I ordered a cooktop from their website. It was "in stock". I got an email saying that I would be notified once the item is shipped out. Two weeks passed and nothing happened. I tried to call. It didn't go through for over 2 hours! I sent an email to their customer service. After a day or so, I got a reply saying that it would be shipped in about two weeks. But, of course, it remains deadly quiet after the date they proposed passed and until this moment I am calling their "customer service" again. A bunch of very lazy, arrogant and dishonest people.
I am very pleased with Goedecker's! I shopped around for my appliances and am amazed by the money I saved. The delivery process was fast and simple. The range had a minor dent (where when put in place) you cannot notice. But they immediately credited me for the blemish. I would highly recommend to anyone!
Happy to see instructions included as some reviews said there were none. I had help putting it together which took a bit. I remembered I had read in reviews that the hose was too long & had to be cut. Was a lot too long. Nice sound for a small unit. Have to monitor the water level daily.
I purchase a stove and a fridge on Sept 5th. The stove was delivered after three weeks of waiting and asking for updates. Together with stove they tried to sell me an open box dented fridge which I refused to accept. A few times they offered me to send a door to repair the fridge which I didn't have. I had to fight with them to get a new not damaged fridge instead. After 35 days of waiting the shipping information is still only promises. Currently they think the Oct 15th maybe the date and again promised to contact me. I am very unhappy and do not recommend you the company and their services.
My experience with Goedeker's was amazing. They had the exact dresser I had been looking for and it was the cheapest price through them. It was a typical delivery time of about a month, but they were extremely professional about delivery. They had great communication with me on who was dropping it off, how far away they were and everything. The dresser is in perfect condition and I really enjoyed my experience.
I cant even give them one star. VERY disappointed with this company. Had a $700 couch delivered to my home, looked perfectly fine on the outside. Was not able to move the couch into the room it was going into for a few days. When we went to move it we noticed it was extremely wobbly. As we tried to move it we realized the entire back end frame was broken. Called and emailed, was told to send a video which we did and were told it was past the 48 hour return so they couldnt exchange for a new couch. Extremely unfair when you spend hard earned $ on something and get a broken couch in return! Never

I feel like a queen every time i sit in my new chair! I did have some trouble getting the chair through the door. The customer service department was more than happy to send me instructions on how to remove the back of the chair for easy moving.
