I was told when I re-signed up for Active that it would be on a quarterly cycle. Meanwhile, I getting screwed at $160.00 mo and nobody is calling me back. I reached out months ago and got a credit since they noticed the mix up but it started again with a monthly billing cycle that I NEVER AGREED TO (unless I was lied to which is what I think happened). Guess it is time to file a complaint and lawsuit... sucks because their techs are decent but their billing is informative, unresponsive, and inaccurate from what I had agreed to when they came door to door. DO NOT FALL INTO THEIR TRAP!
Cory did a great job. Our daughter is having a baby in a month and he told us how long we'd have to wait before being able to have the inside sprayed again.
We've done our own bug management for years but done with that! Aptive's 1st service was professional and courteous. The house looks great without all the webs!

I was approached by an aggressive and deceitful door-to-door salesperson from Aptive Environmental on May 9th, 2022. I signed up for quarterly applications for their pest control services through an 18-month contract. They completed 5 applications within the first 7 months of contract initiation. In January 2023 once they attempted to schedule a 6th application within 9 months of contract start date, this is when I noticed that they were coming too frequently (less than 60 days apart, on average). I reached out to them on January 23 2023, asking why they were coming so frequently. They offered to postpone the 6th application by a few weeks. I then asked for a refund for the 4 applications where they broke the terms of the contract. They denied my request.
The contract indicates 6-7 treatments within 18 months. This implies a quarterly frequency, not a bi-monthly frequency which is what they were following. The contract further states treatments are performed 60-100 days apart. On multiple instances the applications occurred UNDER 60 days apart. I missed out on a full season's worth of applications because they were on pace to complete all 7 applications well within 365 days.
Note this is a company with a history of defrauding customers (see Google).
I specifically told the guy where not to spray because of a duck laying on eggs. I went over the place 2 times and then watched him spray that area. NOt Cool!
First time using Aptive. Jacob was very informative and professional. He serviced our garage, kitchen, laundry, windows and yard with little interruption. Very satisfied with the service

This company Aptive, is violating the original agreement from Case# *******, I originally submitted to the BBB on 10/8/2021, of not soliciting on a private community property.
The company came on 11/12/2022 and again today 1/14/2023. Again violating the signs that we have posted through our community of no soliciting.
I would like to press charges against this company if they do not comply and stay away from The Village of Bent Creek townhomes community.
I signed up for Aptive in 2020.
After finally getting a tech that spent more than 10 minutes at my home for a treatment, I attempted to call the customer service representative that had sent a recent email. After several calls, texts and emails, I received a reply that she could call me at 12 noon.
I was scheduled to be in a meeting so I replied that I would not be available at 12, but would be available at 1 pm.
No reply.
Nothing for weeks.
I requested a retreat and wanted the last tech to return.
Nope. Can't get him.
Also can't get a supervisor.
Customer service representative said she would request a call from a supervisor.
Never happened.
I called back later that day and got a polite man in Ohio.
He tried to undo the damage.
Next day, the account representative called me.
I called her out for not following up and requested a call from a manager.
She said she would request the call from her area manager but could not guarantee a call back.
When I asked for the area managers name I was told she couldn't give out any information.
After my free retreat, I am done with these folks, except leaving bad reviews which I will continue to do.
I can't think of a negative thing to say and usually I am pretty critical of service providers. All of the technicians that have come to service our home have been very professional and polite. For the last several monthly scheduled visits Sasha has been coming to treat our home, interior and exterior, and she goes above and beyond each and every time. Last week she came for an "emergency" visit to treat our pantry moth infestation. I knew she was coming but the day had been hectic and I hadn't had the time to clean out the pantry to be treated. I so didn't expect her to do so but she helped me remove EVERYTHING from our pantry, wipe it down, and return the untainted items back to the shelves. I was floored. She totally didn't have to do that, but she did, and it made my day. This week she was back for our regularly scheduled visit and treated our entire.7 acres for ants. My dog barks at her incessantly as he doesn't trust the spray tank and she is still super sweet to him. Their products are of course pet friendly and environmentally safe but still keep our house pest free, save for the pantry moths that came in with some groceries or the occasional scorpion that manages to slip through under the door. But our house is spider free and our yard ant, tick, & flea free.
Adrianand his partner did a great job and were very knowledgeable of my issues and were able to fix my problems! Hopefully all the ants and moths will disappear soon!

Some kid came to my house wearing an Aptive cap and shirt. I went to Aptive's website and didn't even see Delaware listed as a area service. This kid was rude. I immediately told him through the door I wasn't interested. He said you don't even know what I'm here for. I told him I didn't care. He then proceeded to tell me he was offering pest control services and actually pointed to an area on my porch and told me it "looks like $#*!". Yes, that's the wording he used. And maybe it does since I have surveillance cameras and lighting there which brings spiders and spiders catch bugs - but I don't care. Nobody who visits my house will ever get a sale out of me. I told him he was a credit to his organization (for his rudeness) and when he got back on his scooter or whatever the heck it was he looked back at me and gave me this wise $#*! look. This encounter alone would make me NEVER do business with this organization and I'll be sure to let our homeowners association know the type of trash we have parading through our neighborhood, as well as anybody I know.

THEY CAME TO OUR DEVELOPMENT WAYED THE 275.00 FOR SOME BUT NOT ALL SOME OF MY NEIGHBORS ONLY PAY 121.00 PER MONTH AND THEY ARE CHARGING ME 168.00 PER MONTH.
THEY DONT SPRAY MY GARAGE BUT THEY PUT DOWN THESES LITTLE CARDBOARD BOXES.

I signed a contract with them for 18 months, be careful contract includes a 199 $ early termination fee; I think this is how they make their money; they depend on tricking people with false statements, and then you will cancel as you won't be satisfied with their service, and then they charge you the 199 $ regardless what is your reason to cancel, I don want people to be tricked like what happened with me. The guy who came promised that they would do the inside of the house, and this is why I signed. Each time they came, they never even knocked on the door or texted me to let me open the door, I called and complained 2 times, they promised on a recorded line that if they didn't do inside next time, then they would cancel the contract and won't charge me early termination fees, so I gave them another chance, and they still came and never knocked the door or texted me and they never added to me acct a note that indoor to be done each time, so I had to pay extra service which I didn't need outside and early termination fees, called cust service and ask them to review their recorded line on their promises and they ignored that and they still charged me 199 early termination fees
Usually I'm working, but today I was home today and got to meet the staff, very courteous and professional, informed me when all was completed! Very pleased!

Answer: My experience was the exact opposite of these. Everyone I've dealt with was very courteous and polite. They arrived on time, did exactly as they promised, and I have absolutely no complaints or reservations about continuing my service with them.
Answer: Yes, they are proactive in protecting honey bees! I had a large bee colony under my shed that I had removed from a bee remover/cultivator company. Aptive treatment actually occurred a few days after their removal and tech informed me that Aptive does not have appropriate licensing for bee removal, therefore they leave that to bee professionals.
