Not only do they solicit at your door for as long as 30 minutes, they lie to your face about the contract you are signing up for. They also will continue to steal your money out of your bank after they tell you in person that the contract is canceled after you try to cancel it. I haven't even received their half-assed treatment in two months but they are still continuing to charge me.
They also ignore your calls when you try to speak to someone in their office. Not only is the customer service is garbage, it's non existent. Stay away from this vile money hungry company.
I've been an Aptive customer for some time and have been fully satisfied with their pest control services. Their tech comes out and sprays the perimeter of the house, and then makes another lap to knock down spiderweb and mud dauber nests. They even took care of a rat that came into my garage!
Aptive lure you with initial agreement for 1 year contract. After 1 year Without telling put you in month to month and keep charging your account without your information an service. Sign there contract very carefully. It's not easy to close account as they push you to call them.
The Aptive tech Manuel contacted me before arriving at my house. He explained the overall service being provided by him for the day. Manuel completed the work and I was completely satisfied with everything he did for my home.
I was notified before my service technician showed up and then when he arrived. Quatarrious was very professional and friendly throughout the service. He kept me informed on the instructions what to expect from this service. I'm very satisfied.
Signed on with Aptiva with the goal of removing or controlling ant issue in house. 5 service calls at $159.00 per visit over a period of about 8 months. Company had a 8am to 4pm appt schedule. Every single visit the tech would show up 4pm. My wife who doesn't work would spent the entire day waiting. We tried to reach out to company to tried to provide a narrower appt window with no response. Horrible waste of time. It was always impossible to cancel or reschedule an appt. We would submit our request via text. They never responded, next thing we know we where getting Ring alerts. Tech was at the house even after requesting a change or cancellation of service. Sometime they would even proceeded with treatment even with no access to the kitchen area and rear of house with ant issue. Yet they would still send a bill. Ant issue was not resolved after spending around $800.00 for pest control services. I finally had a friend recommend an online product call InTice. Product worked perfectly at $2.29 per treatment. Requested cancellation of service. Then finally the text message started to be returned. What a joke this company is with horrible customer service and product that didn't resolve my ant issue. Please avoid the company. I plan on contacting Angie's List and the BBB to file a complaint
We had ant problem at home. But, it was not that bad. We saw it here and there sometimes. So, we called for Aptive. After they did outside home treatment, it got even worse. All ants escaped to my house. It was 1000 times higher than what we had at home. Then, we got inside home service. It did not solve the problem at all. Ohh also, we had to pay for the services we did not get. They charge you automatically.
Aptive is very $#*! hole service provide to us, we make 1 year service, and they are doing $#*!ing $#*! service. Not cleaning wasp nest or anything, if they do not have equipment, why $#*! hole takes service money from us.
Mitch, the salesman and Ed who serviced our house were very nice and knowledgeable. Ed was up front about different services and helped me decided what I needed and what I probably wouldn't need so I could save some money. I was very appreciative he was that honest.
Most everything was good except I have not received a copy of my contract and many of my neighbors are now cancelling their contracts because they feel they weren't told the truth about the costs. Can I please get a copy of my contract?
David was my Service Pro today and was very thorough in keeping my home pest free inside and out! The Aptive service pro always calls the day before, when the are about 15 minutes away, and when they are done. I am very appreciative of the customer care.
I was scammed into signing a contract for services I did not need. Now I need to pay $288 to get out of a contract. I had 1 treatment to my house and yard that did nothing.

Specifically asked the sales person before i agreed to the service, i was told there is no cancellation fee after the first three sprays. Went with the service, after 4 sprays was not happy with the service. I would do my own pest control and only sprayed 2 to 3 times a year. They came 4 times in 4 months and was not effective. I purchase chemicals from a local bug store and only pay $100 and lasts me a year. This company is a ripoff.
Please if you are on the fence about what pest company to use go ahead and chose another one. They dont do will with getting rid of pests. We have had to have a reservice every time. Its like they are daluting their products to save money. They dont provide sticky traps like every other pest company for the creatures that do servive. Their prices are way to much for what little they do. I cant want for my contract to be up so I can cancel!
Brandon was very thorough in treating my property for insects and small critters. He was very professional and took his time treating all of my outside areas. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the products he used. I will definitely recommend Brandon, from Aptive to others.
I signed a one year service for this company. Paying $115 for each of the 4 treatment appointments. I didn't see any change at all, and dissatisfied with the service. Tried to close the account but will charge me the discount promo (as they said) of $199 if I cancel. Horrible. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Huge ripoff! 100% do NOT recommend. You'd be better off buying a spray off of amazon and spraying your house yourself.
Their sales rep initially said that I could try 1 service to see how it worked. Then when they showed up to do everything said I could only sign for a year contract. They have a $199 cancellation fee, so I was very hesitant about signing. But the sales person assured me that if the service wasn't working, they wouldn't charge it to me. They then did the service, removed spiderwebs, sprayed inside and outside. Gave me some cheap crappy fly catcher blue light plug in. I noticed their spray killed 1 roach, and made some outdoor spiders actually come inside the windows. The second time the came, they only sprayed outside. I tried their service for 2 months, mainly for the spiders. I still have tons of spiders and spiderwebs. I called to cancel, because $684 a year, or $57/month, is too much to spend on a service that doesn't work, especially for a single mom… and of course, I had to pay $199 to cancel because their sales rep just spouted off a bunch of lies to get me to sign. Now I'm a single mom, out over $300, that still has a bunch of spiders.
Last month while driving through Clarksville, TN, this aptive van was in the left lane, well under the speed limit while using his phone. Ten minutes later he was tailgating at excessive speeds. Two weeks later, this aptive truck in Kingston, TN was driving well over the speed limit tailgating and weaving in and out of traffic to get ahead of drivers. These are not good ways to represent your company. These were two different drivers.

Answer: Yes, they are proactive in protecting honey bees! I had a large bee colony under my shed that I had removed from a bee remover/cultivator company. Aptive treatment actually occurred a few days after their removal and tech informed me that Aptive does not have appropriate licensing for bee removal, therefore they leave that to bee professionals.
