My first time to sell to Glambot. Had a huge collection of NARS, Urban Decay plus other brands which I was never going to use anymore. Never believed they would come through with the promised offer of $60 but they did. I recommend them
Been having some rough time since a loss and trying to recover from expenses. Glambot has helped me with selling what I treasure but don't really need as of the moment. We're now recovering and will continue with Glambot.
Hi Alyssa! Thanks for leaving such a heartfelt message. It makes us very happy to hear that you are back on track and that Glambot was able to help you get there! It was out hope that we'd be able to serve the community in such a way. Thank you for sharing so openly and please know that we're here to help!
My first time to sell to this store was last month. Sent in a palette of MAC cosmetics.
The offer was really meager. Not so excited about it. But I love the business idea. No need to waste useful stuff
Hi Kate! Glad to hear that you decided to try selling your makeup to Glambot! We would love to offer more to sellers but we do put a lot of work into each item before it's able to be sold. At the end of the day, we still need the lights on! If you take into account, from start to finish, we pay for shipping, receive the sell package, process the sell package, calculate and send a sell offer, process and clean the items, list them for sale, offering them at a discount because it is second hand merchandise... that is a lot! Thank you for your feedback and trying us out. I totally agree with what you said- no need to waste useful stuff! Love it!
It was my first time to hear about such business; buying products from end users. I didn't believe it until I was offered some $40 from my my box of brushes, palettes and some unused make up brands. $40 less than original cost but it works if someone else can use the products.
Hi Domenica! Thanks for leaving a review. Yes, we are a unique business concept and we serve a niche audience. We help makeup lovers make money off their excess makeup and on the other side, help others buy name brand makeup at a heavy discount from retail prices. Even though selling makeup to Glambot is not intended to serve as a primary source of income, it's a convenient way to make some extra spending cash! Glad that you find value in the service :)
Inspite of the low price offer I got on my collection, I would still give them credit for a great sharing initiative and easy to use website. I received a free shipping label via USPS after 2 days and it was pretty easy for me to send in my sell page. My offer came through in 8 days. Should only get better.
I recently sent in 6 pallets of Urban Decay and MAC cosmetics to this site. Price offers were not that pleasing. I think they think of paying little because we are end users. But my makeups had never been used and they were in absolutely good condition. We need fair offers
At my work in a talent agency, I often receive tones of brand new makeups on promotion from companies before they are released to public. So Glambot provides a great opportunity to get them to the end users. So they do a great job redistribution.
Hi Jessica! Thanks so much for the kind and candid review! Your input is very helpful to others in making their decision about giving Glambot a try :)
I'm not much into make ups but my friends keep gifting me Colourpops. The ones that I think doesn't suit me, I make sure to get them sent to Glambot. This is a sure-fire way to make something out of the things you don't need. Thanks, Glambot!
Hi KIm! Colourpop makeup comes in so many shades- some more mute and other much more vibrant in color. Everyone has their own personal taste and color spectrum that they like, so it's totally understandable! Glad that you were able to find your unwanted makeup a new home! It's new owner thanks you for your thoughtfulness :)
I work in a retail merchandise distribution and we often have off season products that we usually need to liquidate. We have recently sold to Glambot to recoup the costs. I would recommend them to anyone in similar position.
My cousin and I compared what we sent in and what we got paid in cash. She got a better payout because she sent in more palettes than I and also better brands. Looks like, the better makeup you send in then the better payout you will have!
I wish there was a known procedure of how they come up with offers
I wasn't impressed with their offer for my package. It was so meager for a lot of top brands I had sent in. I was told to pay $17 for shipping if I wanted my package returned. I decided to take the offer instead of spending more on something I didn't want. I really hope they start paying something reasonable

A friend of mine told me about this store, how they buy makeups from end users. I had samples of Urban decay, Lorac and STILA to offer and I had hardly used some. I valued them for about $150. The offer was not even halfy of what I expected but it served my need of disposing them with a profit. They helped
Did send in some pressed powder palettes and bottled foundation. I was tolde they could only give me a bonus since the product arrived but in bad condition because my packaging wasn't good. Wasn't so impressed but they emailed me with a thorough explanation and screenshot of the package. I give them the benefit of doubt
HI Marie- Thanks for being so understanding. I'm glad that our Customer Service team was able to successfully communicate why we had to give an offer less than you expected. Makeup is a bit of a tricky thing to pack- if not done correctly, pressed powder and glass bottles/jars will arrive damaged. I'm sure the next time around, you'll be able to pack your makeup like a pro!
I had always looked to rid my drawers of the huge volumes of makeups I have hoarded over time. Some of them I have hardly used. To get somewhere to offload them at some incentives, that was fantastic.
Crossroads for makeup. If I could sell my used makeup with my clothes, I would! Until that happens, I've been using Glambot. There is a 20 item minimum, so watch out- just accumulate your items and send a box in every few months. It's pretty painless.
Hi Ellie! Yes, you could call us the Crossroads of makeup. Not sure if they clean and sanitize the clothes though... Glad to hear that you are a repeat seller. We look forward to being of service again soon :)
I don't have that much experience selling things online. I tried once before on Facebook Marketplace but it was a turn off because random people were reaching out to me. There were not really serious and were asking a lot of questions that they could have answered themselves if they actually read the listing. The thing that aggravated me was the constant haggling! Ok end of vent there. Glambot was a great alternative because you sell directly to them and they are a legit professional business. It's like giving your makeup to Goodwill but you get cash back! So glad I found them online. Once my makeup stash builds up again, I will be sending out another box for sure!
Hi Charlotte! I totally agree with you that there are some major downsides when trying to sell directly to another person online. Not everyone is serious about buying and it's hard to get people to read instructions. If you have a lot of listings live at once, you can waste a lot of your precious time answering redundant questions and dealing with not-so-serious buyers. Glad that you found out about us!
I've tried selling and even swapping makeup in some of the makeup communities online (e. Reddit, FB, etc). But Glambot just makes it a lot easier. Although I maybe could have gotten more money in those groups, it would have been ten times the work and hassle. Will be selling again soon. Thanks Guys!
Hi! Thanks for leaving such a useful review for others to learn from. Yes, there are other makeup selling and swapping forums but Glambot does provide a level of safety and accountability that those online forums do not. Unfortunately, not everyone online has the best of intentions when dealing with goods or money. I'm glad that we were an easy and convenient solution for your makeup selling needs. Hope to see another box of makeup from you soon :)
I subscribe to several beauty subscription boxes. I love the variety of the items I get every month. Thing is, I like to sample and don't use everything, so I end up with a lot of barely used or even not used, makeup samples. Because some of the items are skincare or other types of creams, they won't stay good forever. My bathroom drawer would start to get really packed and I didn't have any space for my actual makeup. Plus, the clutter was too much to deal with. I learned about Glambot and how they buy used makeup and skincare. I requested a free shipping label and sent my stuff in. I didn't get too much cash in return, but it was better than nothing! Pretty satisfied and will send in another box of makeup and skincare within the next month or so. Thanks guys!
Hi Sophia! Beauty subscription boxes can be an amazing way to sample a lot of brands and products. I actually subscribe to 2 different ones, so I can relate to the bathroom "clutter" scenario. >.< I'm sorry that your cash offer wasn't what your heart desired, but samples or miniature sized items are not sold at the same price as full sized retail items, so in turn, the offer to a seller will be lower. Happy that you were satisfied overall and were able to clear out and organize afterwards :)
I found your company when I googled "sell used makeup". So glad I found you guys. I work for a manufacturer and have access to a lot of the makeup that can't be sold in regular retail stores because of minor imperfections, out dated packaging, etc. Because of this, I need to sell anonymously. I love that you allow sellers to do that. Disclosure- I'm posting this under a friend's account. Just wanted to help get the word out about your wonderful service!
Hi Emma! Thanks so much for leaving your thoughtful review. Yes, privacy and confidentiality is very important to some of our sellers. I can totally relate and understand the need to keep one's online dealings, confidential. Really awesome that you are sharing your experience so that others can discover the service we offer.
I was so excited to find Glambot! I've accumulated a lot of makeup over the years. A lot of name brand stuff just sitting around. So glad that I am able to send you my gently/unused make-up for someone else to use :)
Hi Jolie! Very thoughtful and generous of you to want to find you unloved makeup a new home! I'm sure that the new owner would thank you personally if she/he could. We hope you'll consider our service again in the near future!
Answer: I contacted their sell department directly using the email sell@glambot.com. Sophie helped me- she was very helpful and nice!
Answer: I sent in 3 ABH makeup palettes as well as some other NARS, TOO Faced and unused makeup samples. My cash offer was for $56. I could have chose $72.80 in Glambucks store credit, but chose the cash. It wasn't too much work but they could have been faster. Overall, no complaints though!
Answer: Because it was convenient to send in all my items as once. Plus, I also wanted cash up front and did not want to list items and wait for them to sell.
Glambotsell has a rating of 4 stars from 52 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. Reviewers satisfied with Glambotsell most frequently mention free shipping, end users and urban decay. Glambotsell ranks 706th among Cosmetics sites.
Hi Daphney! Thanks for leaving such a candid review- I'm sure it will be useful to others. Glad that you decided to give us a try for the first time. Great that you checked our list of accepted brands and sent in qualifying brands not doing so is a common mistake made by first time sellers. I hope we surpassed your expectations and can serve you again soon!
