I was underimpressed with the level of quality and professionalism with this program. For 1/5 of that price you could go to a real school where you can actually get certified and not just handed a piece of paper (If you're lucky!). Go to a real school where the atheist instructor won't attack you and the administrators will actually call you back. Don't waste 15,000.00. Instead spend a few thousand and get certified at a REAL school! Look into it before you make that jump! Don't be a fool.
Disgusting, I ordered products from Predire, of course it was a device included in the set, it never reached me, the creams look disgusting, some odorless, and no barcode, too late I realized they were fooled.
When a product is priced too low, you need to ask yourself a few questions:
- Where does that product come from?
- What profit does the seller have?
If someone sells a set of Peliere cream for $ 100 and the initial layer was 3,000 ", ask yourself what the production cost is and what the seller's profit is. I don't think a Peliere cream is made for $ 450, and the seller will sell it to you for $ 50 just because the creams have been returned or have a short shelf life, there is no such thing, where is the profit?
I sent the following comment to GILT and am awating a response: I have an issue with the return policy on reduced items. Regardless of whether the item is at its lowest price, the consumer still has no way to determine whether or not it is going to fit. It would be a favorable policy for GILT if they offered a return on all items. I
I have had two bad experiences with this site and I would recommend that everyone else stay away. The first was the purchase of a coupon to use for salon services. I was unable to reach anyone at the salon by phone or email. Prior to the coupon expiration (It cost $175!) I contacted Gilt. They obviously had no luck either but only would give me a Gilt credit for $175. I think I should receive a full refund and I'm disputing it with my credit card company.
The second issue came with an ordered item; they sent the wrong color even though they confirmed the color I had ordered. When I wrote to complain, they offered me a $50 discount. Ok, but I declined. However, when I returned the item they didn't credit my return to my credit card promptly. I had to write to them to complain and only then my refund was received by the credit card company.
Personally, I think they are running a scam and trying to see how much they can get away with. I wouldn't shop with them again.
MOST UNTRUSTWORTHY COMPANY EVER!
I wish I had seen SiteJabber before buying from this company. They are very dishonest. As other posters have indicated they engage in false and misleading product description. They have refused to accept a return of the product and further even refused to provide a manager contact when I requested an escalation of my compliant. Based on this product description:
"Astor Sofa Set:
Set of two sofas
Durable powder-coated cast aluminum frame construction"
I purchased the product. What they delivered was 2 halves of one sofa which have to be connected by with a clip to create one sofa. Their rep said 'each piece is a sofa.' Apparently in Gilt math 2x. 5 = 2. If I could give them ZERO stars I would. I encourage everyone to report them to the NY Attorney General's Office. When enough complaints build-up they will be investigated and hopefully shut down.
I love Gilt. They have awesome products at incredible prices. I have bought everything from clothing and shoes to home and beauty products from them and I have never been disappointed. The quality of the products is superb and the delivery is quick and easy. Gilt is a trustworthy and reliable site.
A promotion was sent to me via email but it came in a day late and then the terms of when it could be used and when it expired were not clearly displayed so I ordered the items listed thinking I would get an extra 30% off but I was a day late and the promotion had expired. It was supposed to run from 8/1-8/3 and I received the email on 8/2 and then tried to use the coupon on 8/4. Customer service originally tried to offer me a 15% discount on my NEXT purchase but I felt that I should have gotten it on this one and not be made to spend more money to get the savings that should have been applied to this order. After following up and excellating this to a manager it was finally resolved. Considering the savings was only $13.20 I felt that it should have been able to be resolved on the first contact.
I purchased 3 pairs of shoes within a 12 month period at a average price of $170. One of the purchases was a pair of $179 Millburn captoe oxford dress shoes which I wore approximately 10 times over a 5 month period - both shoes are peeling all along the edges of the tongue flaps and where you insert your foot. I wrote an email and spoke to a customer service rep requesting I return the shoe for inspection and verification that the sole will prove the shoes were only wore a handful of times and that poor quality was the reason for the return.
The company just continued to state their 21 day return policy and really did care about the quality concerns nor that I was a loyal customer.
Stay away at all costs, especially with their Gilt branded Millburn shores.
Have bought several pieces of jewellery from Gilt. Some have arrived in good shape but a few had a few issues. One in particular. I live in Canada and understood that they had a no return policy for Canada but I expecteded that if they sent an item with quality issues or damage that they would accept a return. I was not returning it because I changed my mind or because I did not like the item. However they refuse to accept a return. I did send them a picture of the item and noted that it was hard to see the damage (due to the finish on the item and the quality of my camera. Their customer service is a joke. All they do is send generic type e-mails reinforcing their no return policy. Seems Gilt views it's customers as problematic and not capable of telling te truth about quality problems. If you get an e-mail from them saying that they are so sorry you did not experience a wonderfully shopping experience with Gilt, laugh, because once they have your money they don't care any more.
I searched a type of MEN's golf shirt, it came up with several designs and I chose 2 different shirts. When they came in they were not a mens shirt they were YOUTH size. When I reached out to them they told me I could only return one of them. Then after communicating agreed to let me send them both back. I requested a refund. I sent them both back in the same package and they charged me $9.99 per shirt to return it. So no shirts and now I have to pay to return something that they sold misleading! I will NEVER shop with them again! NOT a good experience AT ALL!

Ordered a $600 Panega dresser. When taken out of the box, the hinge on one of the doors was damaged. Sent pictures for days, when contacted customer service they said they had no pictures. Took more pictures with brothers phone as well as emails. Received confirmation texts from Elizabeth from customer service with a reference number. Called customer service with inquiry number and text, they said they didn't have it. I was holding in my hand my iphone with the reply text. I Sent more emails and photos called back customer service and after a long wait was told i was emailed an offer of $50. I told them i never received an offer of $50 dollars. When asked when it was sent they said 1145, I was actually still talking to a rep at that point. I refused the $50 dollars and am waiting for this damaged product to be picked up. This is the new Gilt, good riddance.
If you're shopping clothes on the site sizes don't really mean anything... just like dept. stores... all different depending on mfgr. So... they now have about $200 of my monry that I can't get back and it may keep building higher until I find something of that value that fits! This is... in my opinion... stealing from the customer... very bad p. R... once I get down to near 0 I will never go to this site again... there are so many good ones w/high quality products that all you loose is return shipping charges. If that. I sugguest you think seriously before purchasing from Gilt.com
There are some good deals on this site but it takes FOREVER to get the stuff. I havent waited 5 weeks to receive an mail order package since sending cereal box tops in for prizes.
And the return policy is pretty jank as well. Half the stuff isnt even returnable. And none of the stuff is refundable. Read closeley.
Their customer service sucks too. You write them a letter asking where the item you forgot you ordered a month ago is and they take a week to reply.
This site has potential. They need to focus on the little things though. Take some pointers from Zappos!
Ordered a TAN crossbody Balenciaga. Received a NAVY BLUE envelope clutch. Called customer service and they were very apologetic. I then receive an email offering me $75 refund if I decide to keep the bag instead of returning it. Ummmm... it wasn't even CLOSE to what I ordered so I have no idea why they thought I'd take that offer. Returned it and am awaiting my refund. (fingers crossed...). After a few emails back and forth and at my suggestion, they decided to offer me $50 off a future order but good for only 2 weeks. They lost a potentially great customer as I am a frequent online shopper. Thumbs down, GILT.
This company is HORRIBLE. Bought a pair of shoes and in the site show delivered but I have not receive them. Contact them 3 times and the answer was the same.NO HELP at all. I lost my $$$ and my time chatting to them.

I have been a huge shopper and fan of Gilt for years. However, something HUGE has changed in the company over the last one year in particular. The number of items I have purchased for this 2015 holiday season from Gilt? ZERO. The prices have skyrocketed and the choice of new, quality items, DISAPPEARED for all of 2015! I'm shutting down their app. Today. The must have sold out or are out sourcing services to other countries- it's a dreadful experience. I hear the same from all friends I referred to the site- we are all shopping locally for the good things at lower prices. Think Lord and Taylor... anywhere but GILT.

I purchased a Marco Bicego necklace. Unfortunately, it arrived damaged. I don't think it was damaged during shipping I think the gems in the necklace were damaged when they were originally cut by the manufacturer. Although Gilt's policy is no refunds on this item, I contacted them and because it was an expensive item, they asked me to e-mail them photos of the necklace (so they could see what the damage was). About one week later they advised me that they would refund me.
I returned the necklace (at their cost) and received a refund. Throughout the process the customer service department was very polite and prompt. I will definately purchase from them again.

Answer: DO NOT purchase from Gilt! They state they "stand behind the authenticity" of their products. THEY DO NOT! I paid $975.96 for a LV handbag. Later, (after the 30 day refund policy) it started falling apart. Found out it was a fake. Gilt will not exchange or do anything to correct this. It's horrible customer service.
