So easy to use this product and such a great idea. I think my phone was worth slightly more than what I got paid out, but hey, I didn't have to post anything on Craigslist or meet any strangers, so the value was definitely made up in that aspect.
Ebay customer when I came across Orchard's name as a seller.
Was a little bit leary about them but checked them out.
Real was impressed by the level of testing that they do on all their phones.
So I bought one.
Received it next day, 'Like new' status was actually fantastic.
Check out all the functionality, worked perfect.
Up and running with my carrier without any issue.
I will Buy from them again.

Orchard is doing a great service allowing folks to sell working phones and buy older phones. Definitely give your phone a full working check when it comes to find any quirks or problems within the 30 day window. Our own failure in that regard gave us a longer term headache. We have had a good experience with selling though and we are glad to have options.
I bought 2 I Phones from Orchard. The I Phone 7 started to act up after the ios 14.4 update. I had no service on cellular network part. I tried many different ways to sort this out without success. When I looked up the problem I found that the model I purchased for myself had an issue with the cellular part of the phone. It is a hardware problem with a defect in the circuit board. When I called Orchard about this they said sorry but your out of warranty and we will give you a credit of 100.00 toward a new phone if you return the old one. If this is a known defect why would they sell it to me in the first place. $322 for 5 months use of cell phone is a bit expensive.
The best part about Orchard is their customer service, they are very easy to reach and it is easy to navigate their site. I'm very pro-secondhand-buying, but this was a huge mistake. I bought a phone from Orchard just over a year ago, they have a 1 month return policy and at about 6 weeks the battery on my phone started to die. At this point, 1 year into having a phone and using it quite lightly, my phone can't stay on for more than a half hour, and dies at 70% battery. I can send it back to orchard for a battery replacement (which I would have to pay for) but this would mean weeks without my phone (impossible with work) and I don't want to sink more money into this. Extremely disappointed.
I've been purchasing used phones from them for awhile. Inititally it was great for my first 3 phones (circa 2016-2018), but lately I've been having a pretty crappy experience with them.
First they send me a phone with a scratch on it (marked 'Good') but later when I sell this phone back to them, they charge me for a screen repair and tell me they can't sell the phone in this condition (what?!).
Secondly, when I called them back within 30 days (they have a "90-day warranty" and on their site it says you don't have to give any reason whatsoever for a return) they not only asked me why, but tried to make me feel bad for asking for a refund. The customer service is just horrible.
Third, they have an automatic system set in place and will happily deduct from the original quote if your device gets in late through no fault of your own, for example if it takes Canada Post a month to get their shipping label to you (due to COVID delivery times), you're screwed.
Recently bought an Iphone 7 from Orchard, and the phone ships with a remote management lock on it. Can't get past the setup screen, can't use the phone, and it's under control from a company. Replacement shipped about a week later, working great.
I purchased a Iphone for my Mother in law, and it stopped working, when we took it to the Apple store they said it was previously bent, when I emailed Orchard, they said where it was 3 months old, and I did not buy extra warranty, I would have to buy another! Why would there tech's not pick up on this, and then not to help with it? Never again
Purchased an iPhone XR NEW (not refurbished) from Orchards May 2022. Phone came with a 1 Year APPLE warranty. The phone's screen got cracked. Called Orchards re warranty. Informed screen covered under APPLE warranty and to contact an APPLE repair facility. Repair facility informed me I had a 1 year limited warranty, but only covered DEFECTS in the phone, consequently I was on the hook for the repair $259.00 plus tax (I am sure l can get screen replaced for significantly less.) I was never informed warranty was limited, therefore waived purchasing extended warranty. Knowing warranty was limited l was farther ahead to have purchased a GOOD refurbished unit with warranty. This option was cheaper. Orchards refused to replace screen as per their warranty. Customer service? Purchased numerous APPLE products from orchards, recommended orchards to numerous friends and acquittances. Taking, it all back. Buyer be ware!.
I've purchased multiple phones from orchard and have had no issues with any of them ever. Love the fact I'm getting a decent second hand phone that'll do what it states. Everyone needs to remember, you are buying a used product and as such issues may arise.

Very easy process, came in quick and no issues with the phone. I would recommend this service. Just a bit disappointed at extra cost for charger and ear buds... but you would likely want these new anyways!

I ordered an iPhone 6 plus in 'Like new' condition however after 2 days of using it I'm noticing a lot of issues with it. The top of the screen flickers every 20 minutes and when that happens it doesn't respond to touch. When I am on the phone, the screen blacks out so I'm unable to use my phone or even end the call until someone else does.
I'm waiting to hear from Orchard, it takes them at least a day or two to respond to emails, but hopefully they will allow me a full refund or exchange as per their "30 day warranty."
I'll keep you all updated.
I've sold two phones through Orchard. They're always super transparent with everything that is going on, pricing, any changes, etc. Both times, they've upped the value of my phone because of the condition. So much easier than dealing with people on Kijiji or something.
Could I get my very best price on eBay or somewhere else? Maybe. But from start to finish, the Orchard experience could not be any better. Run the app that checks out the phone, hit the "Sell" button, get packing materials in the mail, send in the phone and wait for a cheque... and throughout the whole process, friendly humans are keeping you apprised of the status... simple awesome. Oh... and the kicker? They actually wrote to tell me they would be giving me MORE money than originally promised. My third time working with Orchard and as always, an absolute pleasure.
I sold an iPhone through Orchard and I will definitely be doing it again with my next phone. I was skeptical at first, but after seeing basically only good reviews I decided to give it a shot. They ended up actually giving me more money for my phone than the initial quote. Any email you send will get a reply from a real person in a short amount of time. I would totally recommend them to anyone wanting to sell an old phone!
Just bought a refurbished iPhone 6 for the best price available online; the hardware arrived in less than 36 hours, was in amazing condition (no sign this was ever owned previously), and was ready to go upon opening the box.
Can't recommend Orchard highly enough based on this experience, I'm extremely impressed and happy with my purchase.
Needed a mid-contract replacement for my daughter's phone that didn't survive being dropped in a raging river. Rather than messing around with Craigslist, I checked out Orchard. Phone was competitively priced and shipped within hours with followup emails. Phone was in excellent condition (in the "good category", only a few small scratches) and works perfectly. I'll continue to use this service, especially since the kids lose or destroy phones at regular intervals and I'm always in the market for replacements!
