I have ordered an expensive beamer l, never received it and there is no signature package. First of all they said that it would take a long time and after that they according to then they posted when I was not home. They send me that the post had been delivered. So don't trust and don't waste your money. I had to pay for something I didn't receive and had to wait months waste of time.

I spent £380 on a electric bike that turned up damaged I've tried to resolve the problem with geek but there not responding the live chat are very unhelpful and the after care too. Stay well clear from there site.

I ordered a Global version of a phone, got sent the Chinese version, after a week of email exchange I sent the phone back (so far have not been reimbursed for the shipping costs) and got refunded on my initial purchase.

This has not been a pleasant experience in any way for me.

A few days passed after my purchase and several very bad things have happened:

* I have found out that the phone I bought is actually the Chinese version of it, while I was purchasing the Global version
* The support stopped responding as soon as I told them that. Beforehand they were very quick and responsive while I was positive
* The phone started showing concerning signs like WiFi not working, not being able to download from Google Play Store, apps crashing.
* The support does not respond to any of my emails now and I'm starting to think I will be stuck with this not working properly device which is not what I ordered

Be very wary of what you buy and what you receive. I hope my issues get resolved and I get a replacement device which is truly the Global (or EU/UK version) as very soon I think I will have to stop trying to make this work and move on to another phone. If so, I would never consider buying from this seller again.

If something happens (either positive or negative) I will make another update of this review

Tip for consumers:
Be very careful what you buy and always check what you receive. If buying a phone, always check the IMEI with the manufacturer to be 100% sure you have received what you have paid for

I bought a new phone this week. Delivered for 2 days, with plastic case and glass protector. All that for the lowest price I could find online anywhere. I also asked for a UK charger and their customer service responded very quickly.

Overall, truly a 5 stars experience and cannot recommend enough!

Horrendous after sale service!

Nice camera but with serious sound problem!
Had to send back for repair and that's when the nightmare starts with lack of response or with no serious information, the only thing they says is "we will ask our workmates to..." after 20 days they received the camera still the same response and no confirmation that they received it and/or repair it.
After 1 mount they confirm the reception and take 2-4 week more for repair!
Next months go on vacation and will not have my camera on time!

2018-06-21 no news or reply from you like you promises
2 months have passed and nothing...

Okay, so I ordered a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Pro on the 24th of July 2017. And I honestly have been impatient to receive it. I live in Canada, and I chose the 'Registered Airmail', they are shipping my order through SF Express. And I'm freaking out because I've already paid via PayPal and I've been reading the reviews... so my order might come within a few days and appear to be fine, or it might come after a longer wait and turn out to be DOA (which according to customer reviews has happened.) What I don't understand is if they're using an Express service to deliver the item why is it taking this long? Even though SF Express says that a parcel from Hong Kong to Canada should take 5-6 business days. I'm really crossing my fingers on this order... and I hope my money doesn't go down the drain. So if GeekBuying, you decide to read this, please get me in contact to SF Express and tell me exactly where my parcel is... because 'In transit to country of destination' is not at all satisfying.
So I humbly request you to help me out.

I purchased a GPD q9 from their website it stated on their website that it was in stock. 3 weeks later they got the actual product in and a month later I received it in the mail. The product is not work fully there are dead pixels on the screen after emailing geekbuying which takes two days for them to get back to you there's simple answer was well it's still working how about a $5 refund towards it. This company is rip off, being a Chinese company there is nothing you can do about it unfortunately!

Ordered a new electric bike Fiido D2.

The order came from Poland to the UK within 7 days. Really happy with that.

Unfortunately, the bike was damaged. Looks like the box had been squashed on the left and right hand side. Can only think that was at the bottom of the pile of other boxes that had been placed on top.

Contacted Geekbuying and its taken over 3 weeks to come to some kind of conclusion. With a £420 bike, they offered £20 as a refund and sending me the replacement parts for me to fix for myself. And here's me thinking I am paying for a mint condition bike with no issues.

They take approx. 1-2 days to reply to any communication via their ticket system. The 24 hr chat line just directs you to an email if its an aftersales issue.

Pay via credit card and at least get some protection with your purchases.

Wont be ordering from here again.

I bought a Geekbox electronic board and a small screen from Geekbuying in march 2017 for 150 USD. The board arrived faulty, one of the communication ports was fried. I took some time and demonstrated the issue with oscilloscope captures of the data lines and documented the investigation process so that it's easy to understand what the problem is and I emailed their customer support asking for a replacement unit.
I wrote 7 emails to them where I had to constantly remind and ask them about my broken unit. They finally agreed to take it back in JUNE! So I sent the item back and they received it on the 4th of August.
It is now the 21st of OCTOBER and they keep telling me that the item is "being repaired" every time I write to them. I am very frustrated that I spent so much time, energy and money on this.
They won't refund or give any indication of when is this going to be fixed. I don't even need the damned thing 7 months later!

Later Edit:
After posting negative reviews on several website such as this, Geekbuying got in touch with me and sent me a replacement unit immediately. It arrived quickly and this one works ok so I have updated my rating accordingly.
Hopefully they will improve their response times in the future.

Tip for consumers:
Be wary as getting a replacement or refund can be difficult.

Geekbuying has the worst after sale support. I bought Mi bands after I bought phone, bands are already on the way, but not the phones. The watches' tracking number don't seem to work anymore. The story about the phones: Ordered two phones, different colours. Paid for them on the 28th of October 2016. The one colour option was out of stock, so they generously asked me what other phone I want within the price range. The phones was supposed to be here already (for my kids' birthday). I contacted them to ask if they could send (at no extra cost) a little better phone, as I paid extra for the shipping, and it exceeded the promised limit of 15 business days to get here. I am very frustrated, it should have been here, but is not even shipped. I sent them a very detailed e-mail about my problem, but no response. I wait so long. The order number for the phones are *******

I ordered some smartphones and the problem is that, after i ordered them the tracking number came to me after 1 month. They shipped my item after 1 month.

And yet they still did not ship me 3 smartphones, although i paid for them in 30 January.
I have no answer from them

In the last three four years I was buying various products from China, from quite a few sites. I had good and bad experiences. The economical problems of China are very well reflected on the attitude of their sites.

From Geekbuying I ordered few things in the last six months.

October 2015 - Lenovo K3 note and few accessories to it. They mailed in time, in two or three days within the promised interval they had on the site. Arrived to me within about three weeks and works well. There was no need to contact the customer service department.
January 2016 Lenovo P70. They mailed in time within the promised interval, arrived safely in about three weeks and works well. There was no need to contact the customer service department.
January 2016 Computer spare parts. They mailed in time within the promised interval, arrived safely and works well. There was no need to contact the customer service department.
February 2016 Windows / Android tablet pc, accessories to it. They mailed very fast, on the next day. There was no need to contact the customer service department.

February 2016 Lenovo Vibe P1 Pro and some accessories to it. It was a special offer. They mailed the accessories but they have never mailed the phone. I contacted the customer service department. I received numerous promises... but no solution. It seems that they sell something that they actually dont have. The sad part is, that they already have my money, they use it, but I might never receive my product. Never order more products at one time! By mailing you something (the cheapest thing), they receive the money and you might not receive the rest of the order or you will receive it very late. I saw this advice in the past, but I was not vise enough to obey it.

The customer service department is terrible at Geekbuying. If you deal with them, forget everything that you know about customer service department meant by western standards.

If you want to save some money... you can risk, but you can experience very unpleasant things. I saw on other sites too that they lie to you fluently, they tell you what you want to hear, but they dont keep their words. The cheap soup usually has a lot of water in it...

I tend to remain with the more trustworthy sites, like AliExpress.

Hallo

I left some days to pass before submitting my review in case i'll calm a little bit but unfortunately my experience keep betting worst. I'll split my review to two sections, first for the geekbuying service and second for the product.
So i checked price, availability and delivery cost for the item i needed (mi notebook air 13" i7) and find that it is only stock in Hong Kong warehouse. I placed my order/ pay and wait. The very next day i receive a mail stating that it is necessary to provide 1) Front and Back Pictures of your Credit Card 2) Pictures of Your Identification Proof ( ID card / Passport). I send to them without delay and wait again. Next day another mail "Could you send your id card or driver license picture too". I complained that this is unacceptable and that i do not see the need to provide all this personal info but i would provide anyway. Another day passed and they replied "will prioritize process your order to the next step". Then silence for 3 days. I send them reminders but nothing. Suddenly i got a mail" The item is out of stock". I was furious. It took them 7 days to check their stock. I tried to get in touch by mail or telephone with someone but without any luck. Item still in stock on their site. 2 days later i got an automated msg with my DHL track number. I do not know if this is the kind of customer service they want but in any case i'll stick to amazon and gearbest as i used to. I don't think that the lower price by 20 or 40 usd justifies this behavior.
Now let's talk about the product. Mi notebook air 13" i7. Package arrived in good condition. But... i have 3 major issues with the pc. 1)battery life. They say that it could last up to 8 1/2 hours but i can get only up to 3 1/2 - 4 hours of Internet surfing and video streaming.and only 1-2 hours of gaming. When i say gaming i talk about really basic staff like card-games with minimum requirements 2)fan rattling. There is a strange noise. The fan probably is not fitted correctly and now is touching somewhere. VERY annoying. 3)whole pc freezes randomly.

They are very soothing, never compensating, besides its a lengthy ordeal of getting the problem solved, probably our only savior is PAYPAL for losses. Theese people dont even bother to check the quality of items before they send and your instructions and notes will only find a dustbin.

Ya que en Geekbuying no se dignan a publicar mi revisión sobre su supuesto Amazfit Bip versión internacional pues pongo aquí la revisión correspondiente. Es curioso que desde que envie mi revisión han metido revisiones cinco 5 estrellas, incluso algunas del futuro (ver la captura correspondiente al final de este post). Como mi revisión está en inglés os resumo:

Geekbuying (y otras tiendas) están vendiendo la presunta versión internacional de este reloj que realmente es la misma versión que la China solo que más cara y con el manual en inglés. El reloj está ingles mientras que tu móvil este en ingles. En el momento que cambias el móvil a español:

PROS: Nice and affordable watch
CONS: It is a lie that this watch versión has some difference with the Chinese one.

I ordered this watch because it was stated as being the international version of the Huami Amazfit Bip. However, my watch is only able to display English when the connected phone language is also English. In the moment you change the phone to other different language (in my case Spanish), the watch automatically changes to Chinese. I dont think that this states as an international version firmware.
Basically, you are going to get the same results with the Chinese version. This version is the same that the old one with Chinese with the only differences that it is more expensive and it is called international because the small manual is also written in English. Save your money and get the cheaper Chinese version. The Amazfit Bip is a great an affordable watch with a great battery, A-GPS and a good display; however the retailers have not scruple and lie about this being the international version in order to get more profit. What a shame!

I see that most people here have positive experiences of Geekbuying. And I understand that when everything works out good it is positive. But not so when the product delivered show up as DOA (dead on arrival). That happened me with a fairly expensive item worth about US$ 230 from Geekbuying.

Ok, after a long delay with videos that proofed my case, they acknowledged that they should pay back my money. Also the freight costs of the return, on slightly more than US$35 for the cheapest way of transportation. I also claimed for the quite unessecary customs costs of US$ 27, as the item sent, was faulty from the beginning.

Ok, long story short. After 20 emails to them and back, I finally got my money for the item and had many struggles to get back only a part of the freight costs. They had initially fully agreed upon those, but when it came to reality, they did not want to pay more than just over half of it. US$ 20 insted of 35.

So after a long wait for the item, and then after that, also more than a month of struggling I lost US$ 42 on this business with Geekbuying. For nothing!

I understand that people are positive when things go right, so also for me, but when it works out wrong, there are better companies to deal with. I have much better experiences with both Banggood.com and DX.com. And yes, it has gone wrong in some of their businesses too, but they treated their little customer much better.

I ordered a couple of Android TV boxes which didn't do what I wanted them to and returned them within a couple of days. I went through the normal return procedure and got all the paperwork correct, I had the items returned to them at great cost given that they needed returning to Germany. Contacted them several times and although pleasant ineffective. Sent proof that someone at Geekbuying had signed for receiving the return but they claimed not to have received them.

After a bad one star review in Sitejabber they seem to have found the items and refunded the items in full. They asked to give them a good review but I can't as the process was still appalling and aggravating.

Ok so about 4 days ago I ordered a redmi note 4 and leeco le pro 3 and yet it still says processing WTF! My opinion this is a shady site so beware!

Ordered an android box from geekbuying paid the extra for DHL, contacted DHL who told me tracking number is wrong, this makes me believe that my item was not even shipped and will have to wait a month or more for my item. Seems I have been cheated out of the extra money I paid. Item is for a sick relative whos Birthday it is in a week. No communication from geek. Never again if this turns up in a month or more
