Received an untunable lute harp. Had to stay in waiting for 10 hours on a bank holiday waiting for DPD collection. No collection! Rescheduled for 2 days later. Gear4music would not dispatch a replacement until they received the faulty item. Replacement finally shipped 06/09 but still no DPD tracking info on 15/09! Still waiting

One of the few companies that i know that answers their phone when you call responds to emails in a timely fashion; great delivery options and honest replies when issues surfaces.
Reading here alot of bad reviews for gear4music. But this has not been my experience. I ordered 3 sets of guitar strings shipped to Ireland. The first shipment was lost i contacted gear4music and they replied promptly and resent my order with no complaints. I received my strings all 3 sets were perfect and excellent value for money. From now on gear4music is my only place to shop for any of my musical needs.
I had ordered a pedal board for my Brother's birthday in January 2022 (back in mid December 2021) as to this day it has still not been delivered. They are refusing to refund me which is breaking the 2015 consumer rights act which is not acceptable. I had then decided to order through Anderton's which was delivered within 2 days! Obviously they are happy to take my money etc... What a shocking company to deal with. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
When I first found this web site I was hesitant to order anything since they are listed in the UK and I am in the US.
I found an item (trumpet) that cost less than anywhere else I could find it, and after reading as many reviews on the company as I could decided to give it a try.
The item arrived in five days (less time than things I purchased in the US) it was exactly what I ordered, it works fine, I had no issues at all with the purchase.
I have not had to contact customer service since everything so far is great with incredibly fast shipping and great prices. I will use gear4musoc.com again.

The most horrible experience I ever had with a company! A complete fraud!
They convinced me to buy a pair of very expensive headphones and to buy an insurance as well for those headphones, they promised me that the insurance would cover any type of damage and then when the headphones broke after 11 months, they simply refuse to fix them and said the insurance doesn't cover the damage.
The customer service were really rude and I just felt totally deceived.
Disgraceful way of treating customers. They sold me a guitar that was warped and has other defects - for nearly £800 - made me pay for the return and now refuse to give me a refund. Apparently we are out of their 30 day policy which as it was bought for a Xmas present well in advance is a joke. Also being told I'll have to wait up to 2 months to get the broken one back. Just give me a refund, you've taken my money and I want it back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. And look at the other reviews, seems I am not alone!
I bought an item and they not only made me pay for return delivery, but did not return the cost of delivery to myself, which was near £20. What a rip off, I will never buy from this company, I have never paid £27 for an item I did not want and returned to any other company. Never buy from these disreputable people.
Total disgrace I ordered a guitar scratch plate that should take no longer than a week I must be waiting a month at this stage bad service can't see myself buying from this garbage again! And why only have some orders the country listed I can't see what country some Items come from they arent listed!
I wanted to buy a decent tennor saxophone for my first. One that I wouldn't outgrow too quickly, that was well priced and looked good. I came across Gear4music.com. I was sceptical because I'm living in the UAE abd was also concerned about the authenticity of the company and also shipping. After emailing them and getting quick responses and questions answered I took the plunge. 8 days later DHL contacted me to get my address and also for me to pay customs fee.
When my sax arrived I was buzzing. It was perfect.
Gear4music definitely get a 5 star from me.
Would I recommend... 100%.

My laptop was sent back to be repaired under warranty more than one month ago. 2 weeks ago the guy from customer service said "the laptop it's been repaired and we wait to receive it back from the supplier". Today i called them again to ask what's the situation with the laptop. The guy from the customer service said "the supplier it's still looking for issues to fix it". It's so dodgy. Totally disappointed
When they say item in stock available for delivery in 3-4 days it is not the true. Received estimated delivery as expected in one week. Couple of email order delayed. Found out the items wasn't even in the country and next stock in 4 weeks time. Maybe!
I ordered a piano from gear4music.es which failed to arrive as expected.
It turns out that UPS have either lost the package or damaged it.
I requested a refund from gear4music which they are refusing to give me until UPS gets the piano back to them.
I have tried multiple times to explain to them that I have never seen the piano and the issue is with UPS but they are refusing to refund me. The emails were not polite and they clearly don't care.
I would advise against using them
I ordered a limited edition Sennheizer HD 25 headphones, but they sent the normal one ( i can buy it from my neighbourhood and cheaper) and not wait 5 days, while they promote the 25 anniversary limited one, with yellow puds.! Beside the delay.
The customer service reply after 3 days of compliant try to be smart and ask me to keep 10 euro discount! Very cheap way to sell old stock,
Or she want me to return the headphones, and i book the DHL and go outside to print their return code!

I've purchased the Barnes and Mullins BJ300 banjo from the website 2 weeks ago. I did so given the reduced price and that the item will arrive in 4-5 working days.
I've discovered that my item was delayed by a vague email not providing any information about its proximate date. So I have called Gear4Music just to find out that the delivery has been postponed till 22 of June. I wouldn't mind to wait that long, but I need the banjo for work.
I find this quite upsetting as I've bought it given the conditions of "quick" delivery.
I'd like to have slightly bit more communication with the customers and not just a vague email with no information.
I was not expecting this treatment
I have had to return faulty and damaged keyboards a total of five times now. It takes up to 72 hours to receive a reply to emails and a couple more days before the return is organised. It takes nearly the full 3 months for the keyboards to be returned each time.
Gear4music has let me down. I bought a Nord Stage from them in August 2017. I had to return the keyboard in April because of faulty software issues. I got the keyboard back yesterday after 2 and a half months and the end panel and front casing is so damaged as if it has been dropped. Gear4music have just informed me that it will be at least two months before they can repair the damage.
Communication from their customer care was awful. I rang several times over the 2 and a half months for information and I was told I would be called back but nobody called me back.
I could not recommend Gear4music or Nord based on my experience.
They don't even have the equipment they advertise. They will hold your money as long as they can, and then keep a fee at the end of the cancelation process. Whatever you don't purchase anything from these crooks!
Bought a behringer x touch with extender Faults started with channel 6 became erratic and scribble script not working. Sent it back and have now been told it will be 60 days or even more before I get it back. I wish I had bought it from another dealer
Ordered a PA for next day delivery but only one speaker arrived. I had to chase them every day for a week(they never once contacted me) to get the other speaker. Eventually I had to give up and ask for a refund……. Who knows if and when i will get it.
2x mackie thump 15a purchased. One was faulty... returns process was brilliant and fast and i received the replacement speaker within a week.
