First off, let me say that this is maybe the 3rd negative review I've EVER written. Normally if I don't have anything nice to say, I don't say it at all but Gazelle deserves this review. The screen was raised up from the phone the day I received it. I never dropped it, bumped it, or anything. It was like that as soon as I got it out of the box. When I contacted customer service they told me I had 2 choices. 1) Send my broken phone in, get a refund, and order another one. Or 2) pay an additional $500 for another new phone and then send the broken one back. May I add that iCloud isn't an option for me and I don't have the option to back my phone up to a computer. So, the only way for me to transfer my information from one phone to another phone is to download the AT&T transfer app on each phone and transfer my information that way. To top it all off, I eventually tried to push the screen back down at the top of the phone where it was raised up and it CRACKED. I realize that may have not been the best idea but dirt and small things were starting to get down under the screen and I knew it was going to mess the phone up even more if anything got in there.
Long story short I could either have $1,000 in phones in order to transfer my information from phone to phone, or go several days without a phone at all. I'm also going to have to pay $125+ to fix the screen on the phone I paid $500 for. I find that absolutely ridiculous.
It is easy to look up your product and get pricing, it's easy to mail your items back (and they include instructions for reading your product), and they are quick to pay out. Thanks Gazelle!

Very easy transaction. Payment was very quick. Rated my phone my phone on the we site and ordered s box. Put the phone in the box and mailed it. Received confirmation and payment the same day.
They send damaged devices, and if you return the device, they don't return the money and no one answers the phone. If you are persistent, then they answer and lie

My old ipads had water damage to them and gazelle gave me $120 for one and $25 for 2 other ipads that were old and broken. I also bought a refurbished ipad and its in good shape!
Process of selling my IPhone was easy from start to finish. Then Gazelle surprised me with a higher dollar offer after they confirmed the condition. Just incredible company!
Amazing work! Not sure how an electronics recycling business could get any better. I only wish they bought back older Apple products such as the iPad first generation.

Purchased an iPhone 6 Plus "certified good condition" 8/1
Received in a few days after purchase. Gave to wife for her b day on 8/15 and after set up we found that the phone was most often unresponsive to touch commands and the screen had a white flashing band about 1/4" tall across top while attempting to enter passcode to open phone for use. Called and got a RO number. 8/19 Mailed it 9 am next available day Monday 8/ 21 They acknowledged receiving it on Friday 8/25 at 4:15 pm despite tracking showing received at 10 am Still no refund 8/29 and no communication other than the receipt for the return. I called 2 times and after being on hold for at least 10 minutes each time I was told the refund would be coming soon. The 2nd time I was told they had trouble returning money to my PayPal account. I called PayPal and they said no attempt has been made to refund the purchase price PayPal suggested filing a claim against Gazelle which I did but still no response. BEWARE. For $30 more you can get a newly refurbished by APPLE phone with a new battery and new case and new ear buds and OEM charger packaged in new Apple box with a same as new one year warranty. Why would you take a chance for the small price difference. Apple ships free and right away. Hope I eventually get my refund for the bad phone from Gazelle and the horrible service. Pissed. Took the pleasure out of giving this gift and I'm sure my wife's disappointment in the receiving of it.
I have successfully used Gazelle.com in the past to sell two Apple devices. I received the quoted amount and was satisfied. However, recently I sent them an iPad Pro 256GB (perfect condition) and they incorrectly evaluated it as an iPad Pro 32GB (with scratches and dents too) and wanted to lower my quoted amount by $105. I was not pleased with the new amount and called customer service. Gazelle, to their credit, did resolve this issue by giving me the original quoted amount after a series of phone calls and an agreement to re-evaluate my iPad Pro.
Even though my situation was successfully resolved, the whole time I was negotiating with Gazelle about my iPad Pro, I wished I'd taken pictures of it to document the condition and serial number. If needed, this would have made it much easier for me to prove what exactly I sent in and its condition.
Here is some advice if you decide to sell to them:
1. Take pictures of the serial number of your device
2. Take pictures of the over-all device condition
3. Take pictures of the device packaging
4. If possible, video the box being taped up and delivered to mail drop.
All of this makes it easier to prove what you sent in to them and what condition it was in when you mailed or shipped it.
I sold an iPhone 12Pro and was quoted $367. I only received $107, with no explanation for the reduced price. I will never use them again and I will tell everyone everywhere.
Asked for an unlocked phone got it delivered and took it to my carrier paid for new sim smh n jus for them to tell me the phone is locked extreme piss
Wanted to sell my iMac 27". Went to Gazelle and used all of their drop-down menus to pick my machine. Got a great price and sent it in. Received an email after they received it saying that my machine wasn't the one I said it was, so they would give me less than half of what was originally ordered. I didn't say my machine was anything, the Gazelle menus told me what it was. Anyway, asked them to send the machine back.
Received the machine and there were noises coming from the box, they put the machine in form blocks but just threw all the peripherals into the box with no support. The iMac got scrapped on the front and the glass screen, the keyboard was damaged all because they did not care enough to package it correctly. I sent the machine in to them in the original iMac Apple box, I don't know why they couldn't of just used the same box to send it back.
I would be careful of this company, they appear to be very dishonest in their approach to purchasing and selling items. I believe that it is a company policy to give you one price, then when you item arrives, they give you a totally lower price in hope that you will just accept it and not bother to request a return. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to take them to court, which I will do to try and recoup my losses for the damages caused by the way they shipped my machine back.
Cancelled my order that they NEVER bothered to ship. Spent 4 calls this morning regarding where my refund was. On hold for22 minutes! Than he tells me some bulk$#*! about my bank. IT WAS ON A CREDIT CARD. I questioned him. HE DID NOT LIKE IT AND STARTED YELLING AT ME! I asked for an email re: the refund. Said they don't do that. THAN HE HUNG UP ON ME! So to sum up my NIGHTMARE OF A TRANSACTION. THEY never shipped my product2wks). I called to cancel. 4 weeks later I'm fighting for my REFUND.,
Google Fi sent me 2 new phones for moving 2 new lines. We wanted pixel watches so we looked at selling the phones. Gazelle would buy them without us dealing with the hassles of person to person.
Long story short. I could sell the phones on Ebay for $300+ each but after fees it was about $240. Gazelle said they'd give us $225.
So, sent Gazelle these NEW-in-box phones from Google (unlocked, all Google phones from them are). Gazelle said we sent them the 'wrong' phone and changed our valuation.
They said: You stated you'd send us the "Google Pixel 7a (unlocked)" We received "Google Pixel 7a (other)" Therefore our valuation changed from $225 to $94.
WHAT?!?! What is 'other', these phones are unlocked guaranteed. So I said no and to send me my phone back. They sent them WITHOUT the box WITHOUT the usb cable WITHOUT everything else in the box.
SCAM and now my phones are worth less money since they are not NIB.

Answer: No experience with that. Experience with their staff and their customer service, don't fo business with them. My phone was returned in October, and I still have not received my refund. They finally sent me an email saying my return was received, in December but tracking showed it received in October, and still no refund.
Answer: I would not buy from or sell to Gazelle regardless of what they claim.
Answer: No! Dishonest! Had to file a dispute with my credit card company tinged my money back and that took 3 months
