Response to Business: your explanation doesn't change my opinion about your return policy / company. Obviously. I wouldn't be happy to receive a used part marketed as a new one, but you've even admitted that in my situation (unopened package), this wouldn't be a concern. Yet you happily apply a blanket no return policy. Still a hard no for me on buying or recommending anything from Gate House Supplies. Original: Purchased a new board for my garage door opener, but was able to get my old board working before the the new one arrived. I never even opened the UPS packaging it came in, but they have rejected my request to return it (I'm fine with the 20% restocking fee), because "boards are not returnable. Please refer to the returns section at the bottom of the site for clarification". Yes - buried in the fine print it says boards are not returnable. Wouldn't have ordered if this were more predominantly displayed.
I needed a part and these guys saved the day. And when I had questions they were quick to answer, and were very friendly while helping. Delivery time was super fast too. We'll use them again for sure.

Part was complete with all needed hardware and lubricants. Packaging was dodgy (just. A bubble mailer for heavy metal parts), but luckily survived.
I've used Gatehouse several times. Always quick and fair prices in my experience. This time when they realized they were out of inventory on a product I had chosen they called me with an alternative. Once I said yes they shipped out the same day. Really great service!

I needed this capacitor the next day, and the lady who answered the phone was very helpful and made sure It shipped that day. This part fit and worked perfectly and my gate was working within 10 minutes. I found this part on other websites but none shipped as fast as Gatehouse Supplies.
My original antenna wasn't working properly. I think the original coax cable was the problem. Ordered this antenna, put it on, and now my signal has improved tremendously!

A bulletin came up as I was finishing my order and offered free shipping for orders over 50.00. I clicked on it but it did not take the shipping cost off. Order #******* Wish it would have worked. Long delay from order to shipping with no communication till I complained then responded that they ran out of product. Communication increases customer satisfaction especially on internet purchases and honor offers. Thank you

After purchasing, it took about one week before I received an email that the items were shipped, but everything arrived within a couple of days afterward. Thankfully, I have not had a need to contact the company regarding defective items, so I can't say how easy that transaction might be. I was a bit worried something might be defective because their return policy appears to be very strict regarding making sure the items arrive in good condition. In my case, I live rurally and have no contact with the company delivering, so could not verify condition beforehand (my delivery was to a main box where all residents have access by using a key dropped in their home mailbox). I'm very happy with my transaction and would purchase from GateHouse again.
I decided to purchase from GateHouse due to reviews and cost. While the price was found a little cheaper elsewhere, the companies were "iffy," and the shipping costs raised the price to above what would be paid in their stores.
