SCAM WEBSITE, they have a very sneaky tick bo, x that if you don't untick, signs you up to their monthly subscription. You cannot get your money back on this and customer service do not care. They know that theyre doing this and have trained their customer service team to deal with complaints about it, they dont help you.

The site was recommended to me by a friend who said that Gamivo buy lots of licences and then sell off the codes cheaply. It was easy to pay and download code. Highly recommend.

Key not working

Customer service was good and helped me get a store credit back for a key that didn't work. The only negative was the response times. Each contact took several business days to hear back.

I've used Gamivo a few times before and the experience usually went fairly painlessly, until one time a year ago, where the amount I was charged was higher than the price on their website. They initially refused to refund me, and only changed their mind after I did a PayPal claim, and left a bad review, but it was on the condition I change my review. I thought that was it, but it turns out not.

Since then I have tried to order again, but I kept having issues with not being able to pay for my order, so I raised a customer support request. It took them three months to respond to my request! And even worse it turns out my account had been blacklisted!

When I asked the reason why, I was told it was "due to security reasons" and that "Unfortunately, we cannot disclose to you our security procedures". Never before in my life have I seen such poor customer practices. If there was a genuine security issue with my account, such as it had been hacked, then they should have made me aware of it for my own benefit. If not, then the bad review is the only other reason I can think of (a review which I did update after they resolved an issue), which is a really petty reason to block a customer.

So moral of the story is, if Gamivo mistreat you as a customer, don't complain, otherwise they will blacklist you for "security reasons".

Scam site

Same issue as everyone else this site automatically signs you up for their gamivo smart service. I ending up paying for several months before realizing this.

Hacked.

BE AWARE: They TRICK you into a subscription when you buy a game through them.The subscription is auto ticked and you must look very careful to see it. It is not up to them to decide that you want to subscribe. That's why the box should be unchecked. They obviously make it hard for you to notice the subscription. THAT IS WHY I CLASSIFY THEM AS A
SCAM SITE. I only saw that I was subscribed noticing small payments going off my bank account. Imagine doing that to millions of customers and I was never informed of this by GAMIVO. THEY ALSO HOLD ON TO YOUR MONEY WHEN CANCELLING A PURCHASE BY GIVING YOU CREDIT
AND NOT REFUNDING YOUR MONEY BACK INTO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT. I was talking to a bot on their chat and it was programmed to refuse any refund for subscriptions saying that I should have looked more carefully. Like I said, they can't decide that we automatically want their subscription.
WE SHOULD TAKE THEM TO COURT AND THEY WILL LOOSE THIS CASE.

Worst CD Key site in existence. Enjoy the ever-so-slightly lower prices while their keys work for you. Eventually, you will get scammed. Customer service will not help.

Ready the other negative reviews and you'll see that this is a scam. I tried to make a purchase for a game and they refused to give me the game code without first sending them PHOTOS OF PASSPORT! Needless to say, this right out of the document phishing playbook. Avoid at all costs!

To anyone using Gamivo, just don't. Don't waste your time with them, don't do any deals with them. They will place your order on hold and probably don't expect to get a reason why.
