AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! THEY ARE SCAMMERS. I tried to buy things from them, they confirmed it, but later cancelled the order without refunding me.
The gamestore name is located in a great location with easy access and ample parking. The atmosphere is vibrant and engaging, with a wide range of games and accessories on display that immediately catches the eye. The selection of games is impressive, with a mix of new and classic titles across all platforms.
Game store service is pathetic. On sunday 14 August, I bought at Pavillion Westville, 3 large items 32 inch TV R2469, stove R2299, washing machine R5759 total purchase R10 527. TV was checked and it was fine. The african guy who was assisting me with Rakesh told me tv is on 4 year warranty which like an insurance (those were his exact words), if anything happens to the tv they will repair it. I came home, took tv out and putting the tv legs and when I put it on, it had lines like it cracked. I went back to game on tuesday and was told there is nothing they can do, that is not covered. Now I'm sitting with not working tv after I spent so much at that store, not even courtesy to say because you were not told that the damage is not covered and you spent so much at our store, let us fix it for you. The guy just told even if I complain to head office I will not get any help I must just buy another one... WOW THE SERVICE OF GAME HAS DETERIORATED SO MUCH and regret why I bought these items there instead of buying from Hyperama. I wish to return the other items.
I had purchased a TV from game on the 25th July 2022.
It said last chance 2 in stock at gateway Umhlanga branch. I sent all the relevant documents. The website had shown delivery on 2 August 2022. I called themamy times to query. They kept asking me to wait or cancel the order as they are looking for stock. Today 15 August 2022, customer care calls to say that they do not have stock and will be canceling the order and doing a refund.
The tv is still being advertised on the website saying 2 in stock until date.
What is game online really up to?
False advertising?

Their customer care personal also have stinking attitudes. They are rude and have now telephone etiquette.
They speak as if they are from a fish market.
The store in Umhlanga also have rude staff. I called in to query if stock is available and they were expremely rude.
Avoid buying from game.
Better service at Makro.

They will tell you in arrears and threaten you with legal action even if you pay them on time, this happened to me twice and their consultants can't help you except to apologize. I will never buy from them again
