I just sent my computer in to get fixed. After four days I knew my computer got there but revived no notification or anything from the company. I sent emails and called but no reply to either. After four days they emailed me and just asked if I had been updated. Finally they sent me a message saying my package was shipping back. This company after many times never told me if it was bad after testing it or if they fixed anything. Anyway when I got the computer back yesterday there was water residue in the plug and grease cover the screws still. The case was never opened. I'm no computer tech but everytime I've been around fixing one I've never seen it magically done without opening it up. I am very upset with the customer service and very pleased to find out my computer was never fixed. I wonder if it was even touched. Looked like the boxes were just changed. So much for the false statements on the website of one day turn around.
Send my truck abs module for repair got it back and it did not work. Was told they would send me a refund on May 31. That check was in the mail we now June 20 still no check. Am I being scammed or what.
I have been using G7 for a couple years now and they have been absolutely amazing in every aspect a company has. Their customer service is out of this world, and they are kind, friendly knowledgeable and have a speedy turn-around that helps us to get the job done faster for our customer. In the years I have been working with them we have only had two modules that wound up not being repairable. When it was found that the modules would not be able to be repaired, they refunded my money no questions asked and gave me some helpful information as to why it was not repairable and if it was a good idea to try another rout of repair. I will absolutely be continuing to do business with G7 for the foreseeable future.
Sent my pcm to them for repairs and when I received it back from them it was worse than before I sent it in! My truck has not ran again since! It ran prior to sending in the unit! The pcm they sent back to me was in such bad condition it could not repaired by another shop! So all in all they cost me my truck! DO NOT use this place find someone else!
This unit was working great after we fixed it. You must have not installed it correctly.
This is a worthwhile service because, if your cars computer can be repaired it will save you serious cash.
I sent in both of my cars computers. I shipped them on Monday and received them back on Friday. Hardware problems were found on the circuit boards and repaired, however, when I installed the computers back in my car the same problems occurred. When I explained to G7 that there was no change, they explained to me that some problems are intermittent and are difficult to find in the lab. They offered for me to send it back in for further testing at no charge or to refund my money. I took the refund, which I received within a few days. I believe it was definitely worthwhile to send my computers in for the chance at a relatively low cost repair for the price of shipping them one way.
I sent my audi BCM for repair. Sent back a few day later with nothing done to it, my mechanic said that the boards not the same and no repair was made.I contacted G7 and they claimed the repaired and did not switch, the asked if I wanted repaired or refunded, I wasn't taking any chances and asked for a refund, its been over a week and nothing. My last correspondence with them was refund completed...stay away from this place its a rip off!
If you wonder why any positive reviews referring to customer service or communications are obviously fakes because -if they merely did as advertised, there wouldn't be a need for communicating with these useless hustlers. A 1 day turnaround as advertised, why would anyone have to call them. They can't communicate since they never ever answer their phone. Before getting ripped off by these scammers, try calling for yourself. They claimed to ship my part overnight than 2 days later asked for my address. I saved all the emails of these embarrassing con-men. It took 5 overnights and 2 weeks to get back my part was untouched. I sent it back, simply cuz my customer is now paying the auto storage and has affiliates in the local area, but need a reason to collect reimbursement. All they had to do was as they advertised. They can't even show a test result or mail a letter
Sent in a BCM and was notified by email that a component was changed but never saw any test results. Installed BCM back to car and no change. Contacted them by email and was told it might be a latent problem and to send it back for them to try again. BCM returned and still not working. Was told I would receive a refund but several weeks later that has yet to happen.

It doesn't get any better than G7 Computers when it comes to customer service and professionalism. Unfortunately my DME is throwing an intermittent fault that would be difficult if not impossible to diagnose without having the physical vehicle but G7 was quick to issue a full refund as stated in their terms. Customer service is very responsive and was a outstanding company to work with. I would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you!
I've dealt with this company and I've read the reviews. First be aware this is not a 9-5 company this is a company that opens early am. And is out by noon with the tasks completed for the day. I live in Oklahoma best time I can send and receive email is around 4 am my time. I don't believe they really answer alot of calls because no one to handle the complaints. My computer was just bad they tried to fix it still has trouble, the offered refund or return. Chose refund they said check mailed hadn't received yet reached out and they sent to my PayPal and canceled check. But did make sure I received funds. I'm poor. And like everyone else get a little grumpy when it's car problems, but I promise if you just respectfully reach out they will respond. This is a legitimate company. No bewares to it.

My experience with G7 was A plus. I've dealt with a few companies before sending them my Mercedes ESP module. They were always responsive both email and calling back. I will definitely recommend their services.
Each computer module they repair for us is done on time and in a professional manner. We are an automotive repair shop that saves our customers a lot of money by having it repaired instead of replaced. Customer service is excellent. Shipping is fast. Friendly group of people.
This company lives up to its word completely. I had a tcm that was diagnosed as bench test good that upon installation turned out to throw one error. This could very well have been an intermittent fault that just showed sometimes and not others or it could be a fault that was just not visible without the physical vehicle. Either way upon learning this I asked for my money back as per their guarantee and there was zero hassle at all, just a simple question of would you like to send it back in or would you like your refund. I chose refund this time and it processed within a couple of hours. Solid company that stands by its word and I will definitely use them in the future if needed and have recommended them to several people and dealerships I know.
I would like to let everyone know that if you're questioning G7 services and reliability I would highly recommend them. I sent them a Tcm from a 2012 Chevy sonic, they sent it back with a detailed note stating the unit didn't have to be opened because hardware all tested OK. After I reinstalled it it did not work. I emailed them and they got back to me within 12 hours, they resolved the problem with a full refund. I had to purchase a new Tcm to repair auto. Thanks for the excellent service, they do back there work!
I shipped an ECM to G7 for evaluation and repair, they found a software glitch but it did not solve my problem. They promptly refunded my money for the repair.
I would gladly do business with them again, if the need arises.

SCAM ALERT! This company is an absolute scam. First off, they state "Free Testing (If no faults are found then you get a full refund)" Then they just say, oh there was nothing wrong with your unit, but it had a software error and we re-flashed the firmware, so we're keeping your money. Total SCAM.
And when they returned my TCU stating there was nothing wrong with it, I believed them. I spent hours upon hours going through all of the tests in the Shop Manual, pulling apart wiring harnesses looking for shorts or opens, taking apart grounds and cleaning them, etc.
I was about to give up and I decided to get a used TCU off ebay AND GUESS WHAT? All of the issues are gone!

I sent a module to G7 computers, after i paid $275 for fixing! They sent it back after 2weeks, and the letter stated: "the module tested fine, no mechanical issues, didnt have to take it apart, but they updated the software, should be fine"
After i installed the car was doing the same problem what i sent it in for. I tried to get a full refund bc on thei website shows, this months deal is FREE INSPECTION.
They dont send back the money, because "they worked on it" - verey bad custumer service, my experience is, i think are scammers!
