I SPENT OVER 100 DOLLARS ON THEIR WEBSITE TO HAVE FLOWERS DELIVERED BY 3:00 TO MY BESTFRIENDS JOB FOR HER BIRTHDAY AND THEY NEVER EVEN SHOWED UP. THEN WHEN I CALLED THE REP, BESIDES FROM BEING RUDE AND HUFFING AND PUFFING INTO THE PHONE HE SAID HE COULDNT GIVE ME THE NAME OF THE FLORIST BUT CAN CALL HIMSELF INSTEAD. WHEN HE CALLED HE TOLD ME THE FLORISTS DRIVER WASNT ANSWERING THE PHONE THEN HAD THE NERVE TO ASK IF I MIND WAITING UNTIL TOMORROW. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM THEM AND NOBODY ELSE SHOULD WASTE THEIR TIME DOING SO EITHER. I WILL DEFINITELY BE FOLLOWING UP TO MAKE SURE MY MONEY IS REFUNDED. NEVER AGAIN!

Worst ever

Worst customer service and worst flowers have ever for. They also sent my wife the wrong flowers on Valentine's Day. If I could give a zero I we would.

Ordered my mom flowers for her birthday and wanted them delivered the next day to her work and they never showed up! So pissed! No refund or re-delivery can make up for that

My family owned a florist. I've seen the wonderful look when someone receives a personal delivery of flowers, candy, and/or balloons. But receiving your flowers in the mail in a cardboard box — just does NOT have the same effect. I WOULD HAVE NEVER ORDERED AND PAID A $30 delivery fee if I knew my daughter and husband would receive a cardboard box delivered by the mailman! Flowers can be beautiful, personalized, and arrive fresh and neatly arranged — if delivered by a florist; not so when it comes by mail in a box. FTD HAS GONE SO DOWNHILL AS THE YEARS HAVE PASSED. Instead of sending it to a local florist, they think a delivery in a cardboard box is sufficient.
They have lost a customer.
CALL YOUR LOCAL FLORIST — YOU'LL GET MUCH FRESHER AND PRETTIER FLOWERS — and without FTD's enormous fees, probably end up spending less for better quality.

Ordered flowers for friend's birthday with same day delivery this morning. Order was confirmed. Got message in voicemail late in the day to call back, with no explanation why I was to call back. Number left by representative was a fax number. I found actual number off the site, called, and a recording said the call wait time on hold was 15-20 minutes. Waited 16 minutes to be told my order couldn't be delivered today, and would go out tomorrow. I said no, it was for a birthday TODAY, I wanted to cancel. It took another 10 minutes on hold for order to be canceled with no apology, no coupon for incentive to try again. It was too late in the day to get another florist to deliver birthday flowers in Brooklyn. I WILL NEVER TRY FTD AGAIN.

Very unreliable, I wish I had looked at reviews before I ordered flowers for my Mother's 85th birthday. Flowers never showed up and have been given no update as to where they are.

I ordered a nice bouquet in mid-December for delivery by the 22nd. When the person who was supposed to receive it hadn't mentioned it by the 28th, I went online to check when it was delivered. IT WASN'T, and they hadn't said a word to me. I contacted customer service, and they responded that it would be delivered by January 21st. I told them to cancel. I then received a phone call trying to get me to accept the order for the January date. Incompetent fools! NEVER USE!

ALWAYS ORDER LOCAL! I ORDERED ON THEIR SITE ON LEGACY.COM AND ORDERED FLOWERS 5 DAYS BEFORE THE SERVICE, THEY NEVER MADE IT! I WAS SO EMBARRASSED! I WILL ALWAYS ORDER BY A ZIP CODE AND SPEAK TO A LIVE PERSON! I ONLY GAVE ONE STAR IF THERE WAS A ZERO THATS WHAT THEY WOULD HAVE RECEIVED.

Ordered flowers for a funeral. Ordered two days in advance. Had free delivery on site. Filled in form for text updates, never got any. Never got any updates via email. I kept checking status online. Day of funeral, NO DELIVERY! So I called customer service, heard some girl laughing on other end. Finally got someone, she told me there was no delivery because no florist was available. WHAT? Now you tell me? They had a whole business day to contact me to infom me of this lack of professionalism. WORST FLORSIT! STAY AWAY. I asked to speak to a supervisor, they said no one avail. JOKE and I can't belive I ordered from this company! They do not deserve ONE STAR. What, they can't read on the invoice it was for a FUNERAL!? JOKE JOKE JOKE

I gotta tell u please do not use this outfit -***** BEWARE VERY UNRELIABLE*****.
DO NOT USE THE COMPANY UNDER IN CIRCUMSTANCES. I PLACED AN ORDER BY 10:05 a.m. They advertise if your order is placed by 01:00 of the same day the order will be delivered. Well guess what they called me around 2:37 p.m. to inform that they would not be able to deliver the order. I explained to customer rep. This day was a very special day. Did not matter they offered a 12:00 dollar refund - I explained that it was not the money. They did not seem to care. I asked them to put in some additional roses say maybe 6. For this screw up and keep the money. She responded I can't do that would you like to cancel the order, mind you that was the second reply from her (Megan) about we cancel the order. At the point I responded let's do that. No consideration, just very cold. I am warning you again. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM FLORIST.COM.

Placed an order online. When my wife received the flowers at work then sent me a pic... surprise surprise (or not after reading these reviews) they were not anywhere close to the picture I ordered... EVEN THE WRONG NUMBER OF ROSES!... I called and got the run around until I mentioned calling my credit card company about fraud... then I got a rude email giving me three options... one was replacing the flowers... with what I am not sure...#2 they would send someone to her work and repo... oopps I mean retrieve the flowers for a full refund or option #3 refund the $17.99 processing fee... All option were ridiculous... imagine her embarrassment when someone showed up to take the flowers away from her... I went to the website and under the guarantee heading was this."Our Guarantee

I've been using FTD for years, but this Valentines order was by far my worst experience. In addition to not delivering my flowers on time, their customer service phones were not staffed, and the online service could not provide the status of my order. The following day, I called again and customer service apologized for not delivering the order, offered a discount, and promised to deliver them that day and send me a confirmation. Neither happened. After calling customer service again the following day, they had no explanation as to why they were not delivered. After a long litany and more requests for information, they promised to deliver them two days after Valentines Day. I cancelled the order and requested a cancellation number of which the customer service rep could not provide but PROMISED to send one in an email confirmation - still waiting? I don't blame the customer service reps, this is a systemic problem with the company and Mr. Apatoff and his corporate leaders in Illinois - perhaps customer service, infrastructure upgrades, and training have been trumped by corporate margins. I predict they won't turn around their five-year stock price decline until they fix these problems. But they wont fix them at my expense I am looking for a new vendor for my future orders.

Over priced

Total garbage

They take your $100 for a small bouquet and schedule and appointment. Then the wait until the day before to send you an email that it's not gonna happen. Then you look up your order and it's fine. Then you call to make sure and wait 45 min to get hung up on. Then you do that three times. Then you do it a fourth time for you to speak to a supervisor named dawn and she tells you "sorry bout that". Then you scramble to get your mother a gift 12 hours before Mother's Day. DO NOT BE TRICKED INTO EVER EVER SPENDING A DIME HERE.

Never ever again!

I ordered flowers on nov 18th for Nov 27th delivery. They took the money Immediately! They waited until 3:30 in the afternoon the day the order was supposed to be delivered to leave me a vm telling me there was a 'problem' with my order. I called back at 3:40 and got recording saying they are closed! My mom never received her flowers on her birthday (coincidentally the day we found out she has breast cancer) that were ordered a week and a half earlier! Called this morning to be told oops, on behalf of our company we're sorry... n then it will take 5 to 10 business days for a refund! FLORISTS.COM SUCKS AND I WILL NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN AND I WILL MAKE SURE NO ONE I KNOW DOES EITHER!

If I could put a 0 rating I would. I ordered my mother's 70th birthday flowers at almost $80 paid for same day shipping only for them never to arrive. I never got a call and email or a text stating why the flowers never showed up. I even waited till the following day to see if they would arrive and never did. When I call the customer service they were pretty rude and short and offered nothing of an explanation other than the floors did not have the flowers to make the arrangement. I then asked the woman why someone didn't call me to ask me if I wanted a different arrangement being as these were flowers for my mother's 70th birthday and I got caught off and sat the woman said that she was going to refund my money. That was all I God no I'm sorry I can't believe this happened to you no offer to do anything in return for the irritation of their trouble of my mom not having any flowers on her birthday. This company is a joke and I hope everyone who reads this changes their mind about ordering from these people. This was my 1st experience and my last.

Purchased a double bouquet of Peruvian flowers with vase. Looked so pretty in pictures, NOT WHAT WAS SHIPPED. MORE HUGE GREEN LEAVES THAN FLOWERS. I even filled out a card that was supposed to be sent, wasn't enclosed with the horrible flowers. Fed x delivered them, upside down! Never again will I use florist.com now I am trying to upload but it will not allow.
