Even though there's a lot of good French cheese to be found in the U.S. (even at Trader Joe's!), there is so much more that cannot be found, especially aged and seasonal cheeses, such as Mont D'Or. We may not be able to visit as often as we'd like, but at least we can get a taste of what we're missing!

Prices are reasonable. Shipping ain't cheap, but it's quick and the cheese is well-packaged.

First-time customer who will be back.

This is one of my go-to vegan spots. There are no bad options on the menu and the portion sizes are generous. The food is cooked with lots of flavor and the menu has a good variety of different types of foods (i. E. tacos, burgers, pizza, salads, etc). I highly recommend the seasoned fries.

Awful experience, which got even worse after speaking with their "Customer service".

Where to start? Maybe with the 500g cheese missing in my order? Or maybe with the ice packs who were melted? Or the 925g cheese received instead of 1kg (this is "normal/acceptable" according to them).

I tried to reach out to their Customer service in different ways and it took them 5 days to get back to me. They did not even apologize and gave me a $20 credit "to use later" for all the issues mentioned above.

Never again.

Fromages.com took on them to resend my package at no additional cost to me after it was stuck for a week in Memphis (certainly because of the storm that hit this area, but frankly, also a huge backlog and inefficient management of the delayed packages between the US Customs and Fedex).

Fromages.com responded to all my inquiries in a timely fashion, very respectfully and they ultimately decided to resend the whole package to me directly to ensure it would arrive fresher and sooner.

If you are dying to try new cheeses at a reasonable price, particularly those you cannot find locally, I highly recommend Fromages.com.

I bought a mix of cheeses that makes the French "raclette" experience richer and more flavorful. Why limit yourself to just raclette cheese. I tried Morbier, Abondance, and Beaufort. Awesome!

The name pretty much tells you all - if you want French cheeses, this is an excellent site.

The cheeses are, look, feel, and taste like individual farmhouse cheeses with lots of individuality, textures and character. They are packed in individual wrapping and cooling packs, so they arrive just as they were sent. They also come with labels and descriptions so you know a little bit more about them.

You will find all kinds of cheeses you would never see at your neighborhood grocery store, and its fun to try the different methods of preparation of cow, goat, and sheep's cheese.

Last Easter we brought a platter to a family/friend gathering and found it was the hit of the afternoon, with many of the selections drawing high praise.

The website is easy to navigate. Everything is laid out with photos and descriptions. You can also buy groups of cheeses, which we found to be well chosen to both complement each other and provide variety.

My first delivery arrived inedible after a week in transit. Cheeses were covered in slime. The customer support has not responded for over a week.

The packaging is wasteful, plastic/styrofoam/foil/gel which cannot be reused or recycled. It is also bigger than necessary.

If you are not lucky enough to live near an affineur and want to experience top quality cheeses that have been matured to perfection this is your chance. I have been a fromages.com customer for years and have never been disappointed. The best cheeses form all over France (and other European countries) delivered in perfect shape with mind blowing flavors. If you want to taste the best cheese has to offer, I cannot recommend fromages.com highly enough!
