So far have had to spend more than the 10% commission for a project that I completed promptly and sufficiently. And now cannot withdraw the funds for another two weeks. It's rough for starter ups but I hope it can be good in the long run. There is also a SERIOUS lack of communication on the website
He is so great. Your company has got the best persion. I am vey well satisified with is responds. Congrats freelancer for him to be in your company. I am very thankful to him... keep smiling
Kayla B is very helpful. She understand my problem as I am a new on freelancer.
Hope fully I will get help in future too.
Brian helped me very fast, he was quick and understood the problem that i explained, so he solved it like a boss, i would wish that there is more support team members like him, so that they can help us that have issues resolving our problems.
A few weeks ago I subscribed for the one month free trial but the payment process did not follow through as it should.
As a result I contacted the support team and Ms. Josie was very helpful in making sure all went well.
Mark was quick to process the refund reversal without even asking for help. I am yet to receive my refund but hopefully I get it soon.
Went above and beyond to help me. Refunded me promptly and answered all my Questions. Great customer service
Very nice, good to reply, good service, not fast too.
But why this comment should be have 100 character?
Min just 50 character is enough I though :)
I was wondering how is this possible every one is giving 5 star rating and doing ga ga about freelancer support whereas it is more almost a week no one has touched the ticket I opened.
Look like freelancer has hired some people who are writing these 5 stars:)
Coming to my point, it is about four weeks and issue is not resolved yet, FL is deducting 15% instead 5%. I dont want to be preferred freelancer anymore.
I am no longer part of preferred freelancer program since 2017, in 2018 for new projects I am being charged 15% instead 5%.
They took 3 weeks and resolved temporarily by doing some adjustments but billing with client is weekly hence every week I am being charged 15% for the last two week.
I have replied to ticket QKU-982-******* on March 13th. No one is interested in responding to my ticket despite the fact I contacted them again on IM chat, they said some one will respond you in 3-4 hours.
Sorry! Nothing happend.
Another site that has low income paying jobs. If your a skilled freelancer with a top notch portfolio you should expect to take 15 / 20 very very low paying jobs with the hopes that you can rank up to get a better job should it maybe come along.
I have never seen a site charge as many fees as this site. I swear they make more money of the freelancers trying to rank up over the amount of jobs posted.
Josie G. Provide me excellent support.
Thanks Josie G and keep to support like this is future.
You have an extraordinary skills on customer support concerns.
Thanks Again
Erwin C. Solve my problem team of freelancer support is great it is very help full for me
Thank you Freelancer
The agent (Kayla B) supported in a good manner. I am happy and satisfied with her assistance. I was charged with professional membership fee unknowingly. My agent was able to refund the fee.
Kalya B were my chat agent on freelancer she is very polite and helping person:)
She helped me in my credit card Authentication
She is helpful and supportive. She helps me on editing the review rate for a freelancer. Thanks a lot Kimberly.
To the point and fast experience. I wanted to change the ratings to my freelancer. He sorted it out in a few minutes.
You are amazing
She helped me wonderfully and she very friendly
Thank you very much for the previous conversation and i hope to keep in touch always
She went out of her way to assist me. Kayla B is a very good Freelancer agent and you should promote her to become a manager. A+++
Stephanie M. Was more than helpful. Prompt, and addressed my issues in an unbiased manner. She is the best.
Answer: It is a PR platform that enables scammers to appear legitimate or verified. Freelancer doesn't care. They get a sizeable commission no matter if the posting is legitimate or not. Example: A fake ebook listing. Needs author to write 50000 words for US$ 2000. Unwitting freelancer bids and is 'awarded project' with message saying hurry up and accept. Once accepted, freelancer takes 'project fee' while you get tied up in their help callcenter trying to recoup not only the fee but potentially the fake employer gleaned from you using their platform. This site will be in the news soon. Trust me.
Answer: Hi Dejan. This happened to me in 2014, I lost a lot of money too, I withdrew the money on a Wednesday after the client had paid me $1000 in full. Then the next day, Thursday, I got a message that my withdrawal request was cancelled and the money reversed back to employer. My account was suspended and when I asked why, I was told that the employer looked like he was fraudulent and that the money might be fraud. Up to date, I am still bitter, angry and sad over that $1000 but I never got it back and Freelancer closed the person's account and that was that. So I hope this answers some of your questions and I am deeply sorry for your loss after such hard work. All the best
Answer: Freelancer.com focused on employer only, they just want as many employer and project as they can regardless of their country, verification status and deposits. However all the restriction is for employee. This is the reason Freelancer didn't stop them to post project without deposit. Almost 90% projects are fake (either posted by freelancer itself or fake/fraud employers). You have to be careful. Keep following things in mind will prevent you from fraud much. 1. Don't work for Employers from India/Bangladesh/Sri Lanka/Nigeria/Israel 2. Don't work for Employers whose name looks like Indian 3. Once the project is awarded to you, don't accept it unless the employer created initial milestone. Wait for at least 12 hours after milestone creation then accept it. 4. Ask for release step by step, don't work on next milestone unless previous is not released 5. Withdraw money from freelancer as fast as you can.
Answer: You can't say its fake but at the same time you can't just trust it fully. My point here is: people do get things done for the price but when it comes to money/payment, you can not trust freelancer. Sometimes it gets reversed from your account and you won't even get a satisfactory reason for it. I suffered a loss of 900 USD. All I get to hear that employer had some account issues and we can not disclose this any further. If you looking to work as a freelancer, go odesk or upwork and any other site first and then freelancer.com. Small incident: I worked for a client, designed the logo got the parent for it. Next day when looged in, my account showed negative balance ( payment reversed). Support: employer have acc. Issues Client: never came back or responded to any mails. Result: I worked and still in debt.
Answer: Dispute it with PayPal! Another beautiful example of why everyone hates Freelancer.
Answer: Freelancer is scam. I have very bad experience recently. "The payments you've received from your employer "-----------" were reversed due to their account issues. As a result, their account was closed" Lost over 800$. Freelancer also keep the fee for this job! Their support never answer. SCAM
Answer: Agree, do not use credit card details - freelancer is a terrible organisation when it comes to finances - they just debit your card at will, no warning, no opportunity to review the transaction, no notification of the charge - you just find out once you get your bank statement. Be very, very wary of this company - not saying their dodgy, BUT they are very devious when it comes to transactions. I think their motto is - "debit any time, just don't tell them and they wont complain"
Answer: Contact Paypal and file a dispute. I got a refund for the monthly amount that they should not have charged me for.
Answer: Good afternoon Rostyslav, unfortunately this has happened to most users of Freelancer including people who have been awarded projects. Ensure that you do not start any work or event accept a project until the following criteria have been met: 1. Project awarded 2. Initial milestone/deposit created 3. Client agrees to release the first payment immediately after you accepting the project. If they are unable to do this, tell then politely that you are unwilling to start on the project and keep looking for honest, legitimate clients. Be careful at all time on this website, even if you do vey thing by the book and the client still doesn't pay, the Freelancer support team will not help you. It is left to you to contact the client and chase the payment even of they delete their account.
Answer: Don't share you card. Use Paypal. First of all don't use freelancer they are scammers.
