They just stopped providing carts for their customers. I guess they want you to bring you own cart!? And now Kroger has launced one of those silly cards. Everything is marked up to full retail before giving you half the difference back when you swipe the card. I'm done with this store. Safeway/Haggan/Albertsons. Until they too merge with Kroger/FredMeyer as planned.
They send you a coupon for X amount of dollars off your order if you spend so much. The cashier put that coupon on the bottom of the other coupons I gave her. I had spent the required amount but she scanned the other coupons first and then said I did not spend enough and could not use the coupon. I called and they said they train them to do that. Horrible store and not enough checkers.
Nobody needs a 27 point inspection on produce, it creates mass waste and is prob just a marketing bs ploy anyway...and no human is that precious, spend more time on customer service and value and leave the fruit inspections to farmers...
Fred Meyer is our largest store next to Walmart! Walmart seems to be able to stock their shelves and have enough unlike Fred Meyer. It would be nice if just once they had all the items they advertise. I can't believe that in our small community they don't have enough. Ridiculous!
The manager and the red hair women of Starbucks are, I think they are russian, I heard when they were talking each other, but when they hear someone with accent, they not treat the person good. Russian people are usually like that, they think are superior to other nation. They should receive clases how to treat people from other countries specially Latin people.
Got charged for a bag by cashier at the University Place, WA store even after telling her none was needed. Called the store and front end supervisor ridiculed complaint for 8cents only. Grand theft if they charge many customers!
We double check items at Fred Meyer because it's usually expired. We bought crackers and found out it was a year old and another item we bought was 2 years old so we returned them both and let them know.
I was stuck in line with 1 person ahead of me. This poor woman bought a cart full of Halloween sale items. The system did not give her the sale price and the poor cashier had to manually enter the sales % for each item with the system trying to override him. It was painful to watch and the cashier was very professional as the line lengthened. The woman was over charged $100. And it was obvious management didn't care. The over ride person asked no questions and ran off quickly. I was left with the impression it was typical. Cashier Jeremy was priceless. Vancouver, Wa.
I just have one problem which is in the woman's bathroom. It's pretty hard to see. There's not enough light in there. But other than that excellent service
My husband went through this company they had a store inside the grocery store, got me a wedding ring and since they sent it to get sauntered together, the under part of a supposed be gold ring is flaking off. They are a huge joke and for the money they charge you, they should be sticking inside a bubble gum machine game for kids to play with, Would NOT recommend them to anyone
Absolutely THE most confusing and unreliable grocery delivery service. I'm disabled and need to order online for delivery. I've had nothing but trouble. Customer service keeps telling me that I won't be able to "see" a credit on my rewards account. Three times now I've ordered online for groceries and the credit is NEVER applied. They will not give me accurate info and the credit (acknowledged to exist) NEVER credits against delivery orders either from dept store items or grocery store deliveries. I have other accounts for grocery deliveries (thank the Lord) that are nowhere near this frustrating or deceptive. ***K this store and its unhelpful customer service. They should be ashamed (but, instead, make customers feel like they're stupid)... which I'm not.
Until Freddie's remodeled their store in Redmond WA, I loved going there. It was well stocked, many friendly cashiers. Then suddenly they began to be out of the most popular brands of catfood, like Fancy Feast, chicken feast in real gravy, (they still carry the chic feast in 'gravy flavor'; but now almost entirely seafood flavors in the Fancy Feast! I've never had a cat that liked seafood, just chicken)That's only one of many examples Then the pandemic hit &, what I figured out eventually, Kroger, (owners of F. M.) always seemed to have THEIR brands of everything on the shelves, with all of the name brand items very seldom found. (more than one employee told me that Kroger would love nothing more than to have the shelves with nothing but their Kroger brand on them-i was told this BEFORE pandemic). Well, the pandemic has given them the opportunity and they are flying high with it. I have always disliked Kroger because they want to take our choices away from us. We live in AMERICA! We want to have choices. I have tried many Kroger brand items over the years, when desperate, and they suck! They have an ok toilet tissue, ibuprofen, and for a minute, a good plastic wrap, til that got good reviews, then it became another bad nightmare. I love Comet…it was gone for a long time then i guess enough of us complained & it came back in dribbles…maybe 6 were put out a day. I was told that there was more in back but they could only put out so many a day…because of space! WHAT? Sorry, I could go on & on but instead I'll just add 2 more HUGE inconveniences…customer service-very nice people work there, but they now close at 5:30 instead of 11pm! And, the last two times I went shopping, within the the last week & a half, late afternoon, early eve, the ONLY open cashier was the 'quick check'line! Both times I've been half to 3/4 way down the aisle waiting my turn. Both times my ice was dripping as I walked to my truck, my Klondike ice cream all melted inside their foiled packets. I once enjoyed Freddie's shopping, now I cringe when I have to go. Sad that Kroger wants to take over our lives & make us eat their watered down EVERYTHING. Oh, one more, thank you, did you know that when you buy Kroger brown sugar, that it is NOT like C & H Pure br. Sugar…it is white sugar made brown with molasses!…i lied, sorry, but this is BIG. My family reunion this past Saturday, I made a double batch of my potato salad. Fred's only had Kroger pots, so I bought the ten lbs needed…I hope my pictures come through cause about 5 lbs of them were horrid! I had to go back & buy 5 lbs of NON-KROGER baking potatoes! This actually happened. You just cannot make this up. And read it before you go all half ahd on replies that are without truth. Today I went to Fred Meyer, new in town and apparently learning how evil and negative and victimizing Boise natives really are. When entering the store to just purchase a pastry, there was a mother duck and her babies stuck under the plants. I had seen the baby that was run over in the parking lot as I came in. So me, being me and loving all living things, got the two babies unstuck from the bin by moving a few containers. She then proceeded to walk again across the parking lot. I decided to go in and customer service a request to call the nature control. Not going. Manager boy said that they do not do anything of the sort. Ok. Then it is up to me. John Q public to tend to this. I get a Sterilite container. That were all bunched together and I literally had to fight my way through bunched lids to get a matching container. Got the container. Went to the edge of Bath and HD and there they were in a corner. On my way out, manager boy follows me through the store, to tell me that if I touch the ducklings momma duck will literally kill the babies. Not true and the beginning of his microP behavior.
At the corner, the babies where corralled into the tub, so easy peezy. They went in. Momma duck was not leaving these guys, so for about a half an hour, I sat quietly, by myself minding my own business, doing my own thing without anyone bothering me. Asked one guy to move his truck slowly to not get momma duck upset and he said, no problem and good luck. Good man there. Then manager boy from Fred Meyer decides to come out about 45 minutes later to continue to tell me lies about my process and what he believes I should do with my time and then walk all over the area making the momma duck upset and nervous. I do not know what his intentions were. But I can tell you like I told him. He needed mental attention, he had never done this before and this was his first time and he was not a help, he was a hinderance and bullying me in my personal space. I asked him if his job was worth this, since he was on company time and out of his property line, harassing me while I was on public property. He laughed and said, I don't have to worry. This continued for about another 5 minutes with him accusing me of kidnapping the ducklings and hurting the momma duck. Hmmm how is a rescue a kidnapping. NOT. Rescue. He then kept up with the kidnapping and verbal abuse, negative negative how bad of a person I was for my efforts personally to try to take nature to a wonderful park down the road. BAD, BAD bad, words of negative, more more, for 5 minutes. He finally got a call and walked back. This did not deter me and I sat for another 15 minutes watching momma duck get closer and closer to the container and once she almost went in. In this time, a woman in a flower top without no concern was going to walk through the narrow walk way between momma duck and me and the container. She was making a b line to Fred Meyer to complain about me, you sad little woman. Then here comes manager boy from Fred Meyer. This time, he explains he is on his BREAK. His personal time, in my personal space, telling me I am a bad person to perform a rescue of this momma duck and her babies to relocate them to a known pond, down the road. So here he is harassing me on his brake again, I am horrible, kidnapper, stupid for attempting this. I am not on the Fred Meyer store sidewalk, I am at the corner of Bath and HD. In a corner. No one else coming through except the dude that said I needed to leave it to the professionals. Oh, I will get to them. They did not care. The advise from 3 nature rescues were to let them die. We don't come to rescue that type of situation. It gets better, while Manager boy at Fred Meyer was harassing me on his personal time of his break, some little pencil D. Comes walking up. He chimes in. Remind you, I am here in my personal time on public property, minding my own business, in a CORNER. I asked no one to help me, I was not showy or loud or obnoxious, I was sitting silently, waiting for momma duck who was right beside me to trust me further and get into the container. Sitting with momma duck. And here comes AH #2. A kid. With a phone. Who proceeds to accost me like Manager boy. Again, I am a kidnapper. It is illegal to take nature from where it is, blab la bla. This time, I pick up the container and flee with it to my car with momma duck flying after me. And this creepy guy running after me. I put the babies in the car in the tub and try to assess how to get mommy, when this creepy kid walks up to my car with his phone, calling the police complete with stating he is going to stand in front of my car to keep me from moving. Because 911 girl is as ignorant as they come and he is lying to her about me KIDNAPPING the hatchlings and mommy. Creepy guy. It is called kidnapping when you hold someone against their will and harassment when you stalk someone across a parking lot. Nothing I did was wrong or illegal. I called the 911 operator and let her have it. I am 59 years old and I was just accosted, harassed, held against my will and verbally abused and bullied by these two kids. Young men, who will continue in their lives to victimize women. This was just a taste for them. I finally released momma duck in the parking lot. She walked off in the parking lot with her babies to hello. These two bullies, instead of helping to save lives, caused the criminal act of not doing a thing. And the woman who walked in the store to also bully me. If this would have been anyone else they would have been a hero, they would have been helped. I never ask for that because this is always what happens. Instead of ducks put this as puppies with the momma in peril. I would have been kidnapping puppies and hurting momma dog. These boys are a disgrace to everything. Everything.
Got to the 30th and wielder location with 7 minutes before closing (needed to grab cold medicine for my son) and got turned away by the manager at the front door after he let some blonde chick in right before me. What a double bag. I pleaded with him and told him my situation and still got denied entrance. So make sure you get there with a blonde chick if you're gonna show up with a few minutes before closing.
Second time I have bought bag of Kroeger carrots- really poor quality. Don't taste fresh and several misshapen with extra parts or broken off. No quality control. See picture..

Was a great store five years ago. Just isn't anymore. Can't trust displayed prices for in-store shopping. The delivery service disregards instructions for NO substitutions. The substitutions that are anyway imposed do not remotely match ordered items that are supposedly out of stock. Call me crazy, yogurt is not a reasonable substitute for peanut butter. No confirmation for the $15 and $20 credits they offer for your NEXT PURCHASE if you call to dispute the substituted items. If you're insistent, a charge back to your credit card is available for disputed substitutions. I rarely shop at FM anymore because more often than not, it's an exasperating experience.
Customer service( front desk@3:50pm) Kelly no no eye contact, no greeting saying she can't hear what i said coz she was eating and talking to fellow employee she responds with non committal or vaque respond employee like that should not be at the customer service she gave a lil effort no other options or steps in helping out customer, she's very rude s focus more on talking to her co employee rather than to her customers —- it happened March 17,2022 around 3:40-3:50ish pm..
I purchased 5 $100 Fred Meyer Gift Cards on March 2 2022 I buy them for my sister who is disabled and she shops for my elderly mother she went to the store on March 10th and there was 0 balance on the card I called Fred Meyer gift card line because my sister didn't tell me until the 14th I gave them the numbers on all the gift cards only one had $50 on it they will not help me they told me they can not do anything once they give you a authorization receipt it's on you then I finally talked to a front manager named Carol at the Fred Meyer where I purchased the cards at mill plain and Chacalov Drive in cascade park and she said call the police customer service keeps hanging up on me playing background music there is no one at Kroger or the Fred Meyer Store that will help me do not buy gift cards at Fred Meyer they have horrible customer absolutely none it's a shame how they treat you I am spending hours trying to recover my money I have gotten 0 response from Fred Meyer the police have given me a case number and they will do an investigation but this is a nightmare stay away from Fred Meyer gift cards they have been tampered with and stolen before you buy them make sure you don't depend on them working it's a rip off I thought Kroger was a good customer service company not or it's just they steal you cash with a fake gift card
A manager named Candy at the Yakima Fred Meyer does not have the temperament to be a manager. I witnessed her deal very rudely with different customers. It was hard watching the affect she had on one customer in particular.
