Coupons
March 19, 2023

They send you a coupon for X amount of dollars off your order if you spend so much. The cashier put that coupon on the bottom of the other coupons I gave her. I had spent the required amount but she scanned the other coupons first and then said I did not spend enough and could not use the coupon. I called and they said they train them to do that. Horrible store and not enough checkers.

Customer service( front desk@3:50pm) Kelly no no eye contact, no greeting saying she can't hear what i said coz she was eating and talking to fellow employee she responds with non committal or vaque respond employee like that should not be at the customer service she gave a lil effort no other options or steps in helping out customer, she's very rude s focus more on talking to her co employee rather than to her customers —- it happened March 17,2022 around 3:40-3:50ish pm..

Fred Meyer Sucks!

I was just at Fred Meyer in Boise on Franklin, and they told me they couldn't sell me any quarters! WTF!
Not selling quarter to your customer is $#*!ing $#*!ty customer service and nothing else! $#*! you Fred Meyer! You $#*!ing Suck!

P.S. The one star rating above is false. The rating is no stars! But I was forced to pick one to submit this review. More Bull$#*!!

The manager and the red hair women of Starbucks are, I think they are russian, I heard when they were talking each other, but when they hear someone with accent, they not treat the person good. Russian people are usually like that, they think are superior to other nation. They should receive clases how to treat people from other countries specially Latin people.

The store is great, I shop there all the time. Their website, on the other hand... It's terrible. Logging in is a chore, and simply attempting to shop their online store prompts me to "update my profile" every single time, despite having already done this more than once in attempting to remedy the issue.

They require entering security questions, which you can only choose from their list of five or so options. Finding one which applied to was difficult enough, and once I entered my answer, they told me it didn't meet their requirements!

With the search function being entirely broken, I resorted to simply sorting through their categories in order to shop, because, I guess, I was feeling particularly determined to shop on this website. I found that within their categories were scattered, didn't make much sense, and were difficult to navigate. I'll give you one example; if you open their "shop online" page, there is a page within the page labeled "shop online" which only links back to the Fred Meyer Jewelers website.

I find this website to be entirely unacceptable for an establishment as dear to me as Fred Meyers.

Went into the Sacppose Fred mayer and wanted to buy a lego starwars had no price tag was told it was $39.99 then Scaned it at slef check out and somehow its $80 what the fork? Was treated very poorly by employees asked to Speak to a manager over the phone Told her I did not appreciate the way I was treated and would not be going back she hung up on me I would excpet that from a teenager not a manger Zero Transparncy Horroblie Is customer service Seems like fred myers Used to be a good place to go when I was younger not so much now

I have been filling my prescription here for almost 2 years and it has been one horrific encounter after another. They fail to answer my question correctly when I ask if my doctor has called in my prescription to be filled over the weekend. If they say no I can call the doctor during office hours. So I call. Dr is super confused. Saying "I called it in, it's confirmed right here". Ok. Next issue. U call and ask did Dr call it in? They say "yes, I can fill it tomorrow "(referring to Saturday). I ask on Saturday for them to fill it. They say "ok, it will be ready soon. We are very busy so it might take some extra time". They didn't fill it so I come in to find out what at is going on. They don't have my medication in stocks. They know I need it since I have been getting it monthly for 2 years, same meds, sane dose, same day. They ghosted me from the moment they knew until I walked in the door. Then they told me I should have called, which I did. It must be a new prescription. It's not. That I am lying to them about calling. Which I'm not and will happily show my records of calling every month to ensure a smooth refil.

I call like that because if I don't take my meds on time IT COULD KILL ME. But the pharmacist insists it is my fault.

Bad business practices
November 4, 2020

So... I went to Fred Meyer in Sandy, OR today and can't believe how ridiculous they are. You can basically walk around that store without a mask and potentially spread a deadly virus and no employee there is allowed to say anything to that mask less person. I went to the recycling area with a bag af cans and found they have a limit of 24 cans. You could buy 4 cases at a time but can only return 24 at a time. They post an employee at the recycling area to MAKE sure you do not put more then 24 cans in the machine. The employee literally stopped me from going over the limit. Took me 20 minutes to get there. I thought, this is nuts. I went in to do some shopping and noticed there was a change of guard, so I finished my recycling of my last 24 cans. I just can't believe the loss of human value that this Fred Meyer displays. There is a stronger desire to control can recycling than to protect their customers & employees from this deadly virus. Fred Meyer should lower their prices more because their values have gone low low low, much more than their prices. I think I have had enough of Fred Meyer and it's only concern being for the All Mighty dollar, and who cares about people there. Bye Bye Fred Meyer, your values are much too low, low, low for me.

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. When we first started with the Fred Meyer pharmacy in Nampa they were very good and attentive, since Shopko and others closed they have gotten careless, inattentive and rude. It now takes this pharmacy days to fill a prescription. When we had Walgreens request all of my 4 prescriptions be transferred to them from Fred Meyer, Fred Meyer transferred 2 prescriptions to Walmart not Walgreens and then they state they send it to the phone number that was given to them I call BS. My wife asked for a specific prescription written by a specific doctor be transferred and they transferred the wrong prescription and they have also filled the wrong prescription in the past on this medication. IF you have had issues with this pharmacy report them to the Idaho board of pharmacy, this is the only way things will change.

They don't care
October 1, 2023

Shopping here, I was excited to see this sale on 3 lbs of Hill's bacon. I used the Fred Meyer app to scan the digital coupon. It blinked when I scanned it, but no coupon appeared on screen to clip. So I took this picture to show as evidence of the $11.31 sale price. Sure enough, the sale price we got at the register was $14.31, not 11.31. I showed the photo to the young cashier, who tried to find the coupon on my phone and could not, and then directed us to Customer Service.

After my handicapped wife and I stood in the Customer Service line for 30 minutes (only 2 customers were ahead of us, thank goodness), we were told by the middle-aged female manager that "corporate" does not allow digital coupons to be applied to meat at the Customer Service counter. I asked if other people had experienced this issue with the sale as well, and the manager said none had. My wife, quite exhausted by this time, opined that was probably because no one else wanted to wait in the Customer Service line for 30 minutes like we had.

The manager refused to honor the digital coupon. My wife then asked for a complete refund, and we left the bacon there. It seems silly that Fred Meyer corporate would accept the meat back in a refund, and not honor a digital coupon for it for some reason. Mind you, the meat had not left the store at all.

Anyway, I got the feeling that neither the employee nor the manager really cared about it either way. I assume they were just doing as they were told, and they probably privately thought it was just as idiotic a situation as we did.

Now, about that wait time at the Customer Service counter. 30 minutes to get through 2 customers is ludicrously unprofessional. And there were several customers waiting behind us, too. It appears as if not enough help is being hired at this Fred Meyer. In the past, we had chosen Fred Meyer because Safeway ALWAYS has too little help working, and their lines are very long. Now with Fred Meyer too?

In case anyone at "corporate" actually reads and cares about this event (and the ill will it has caused), the time, date and location of this event was approximately 12:45pm on October 1,2023, at the Wellsian Way location in Richland, WA.

Never again
January 10, 2022

So I shiopped over at the Fred Meyer in Ballard Seattle. OMG! What a sham! But then again all Fred Meyer''s are a sham. The prices are never correct when rung up, the work crew are uneducated ruin baboons, the store was filthy and the night crew still had pallets and boxes on the floor in the middle of the day. Talk about an accident waiting to happen. I stopped in to get a new electric razor. Its took someone over 45 minutes to get to the isle to open the locked case and then he stood tere annoys because I was trying to figure out which one was cordless/rechargeable. I asked him and he was certainly no help. I bought one that was on a peg for $45 but when its was rung up at register, its was $75. I said that was wrong. It took someone another 20 minutes to do the price check. They said it must have been on the wrong hook and still dared me to spend the $75. When I said no way, the cashier tried to make me feel like it was my fault and even called security to make sure I was not going to "blow a fit."

As I say, Never Again.

Buying Fuel at Fred Meyer's?

Here's a review of Fred Meyer's new fuel policy. I pulled up to Fred Meyers to buy fuel after shopping. I have been buying fuel at Fred Meyer for about 10 years, never spilled a drop. Today 05/20/23,3 pm. (Gabe was Fred's attendant, he refused to identify his last name and cutoff my $163.28 fuel purchase before I was done because I told him to lift the boat tanks himself. He refused to lift my tanks for me, he also failed to give me a receipt for my purchase after he cut it off fueling before I was done.) I was at Soldotna Alaska Fred Meyers, Gave forced me to take all my boat fuel tanks out of the boat and place them on the ground. Fill them on the ground and then hoist 40 pound each tanks back up into my boat. I dropped one tank, dislodge the cap and spilled fuel all over the ground and myself. If there had been a spark you would probably be looking at a multimillion dollar law suit for everything and everyone who would have burned up or died. Ten years of fueling boat tanks produced zero fires m, pollution and health hazards. Five minutes with Fred Meyers and Gabe's new hazardous up and down boat tank policy polluted the environment, threaten to burn me alive and gave me a back ache. If Fred believes it's "safer" or cheaper to up and down move stationary fuel tanks he is insane. Five minutes of this kind of hazardous activity threatened my life more than it has ever been threatened. I will be forced to shop and fuel at 3 Bear from now on because I will never fuel or shop at Fred Meyers again because I value my safety, my life and I do not want to pollute the environment. I am sending the EPA a copy of this letter and a clear description as to how Fred Meyer's has decided to threaten my life and pollute the environment at the same time.

We purchased a set of zero gravity chairs which were poorly packaged and arrived broken. It took about a month to get a refund and they lied to us multiple times. They also didn't want to refund our sales tax even though we sent the item back. Here are the details:
Upon receiving the broken item, we took the set to our local Fred Meyer store. 3 staff members were doing nothing but standing at the returns desk. They immediately said they couldn't help us as the stores are separate from their website.
I then filed a request online to return the item for a refund. No response. Several days later, I called their customer service number. After a lengthy wait, the rep said they would refund us and it would take 7-10 days. That was a lie. On top of that she said they won't be refunding the sales tax! I told her that was illegal. She insisted they could not refund it.
On day 11, I called again. After a lengthy wait, the rep said she needed to ask her manager about it. She put me on hold. 20 or so minutes later, the system hung up on me. I knew they had my phone number and thought they might call me back with an answer. No.
I called again. After another lengthy wait...was told my refund would arrive the next day or at most 2 days. That was another lie. Pretty sure their customer service reps just say that to end the call, knowing that the long wait times dissuade people from calling back.
Finally, another week later I receive an email with postage paid label to return item and told I would be refunded for the purchase price, but not sales tax, when they receive the item. We send out the item the next day. I respond to the email to remind them that withholding our sales tax is illegal.
A few days later, nearly a month after we filed the first report of a problem, we were finally refunded including the sales tax.
We were never treated with respect. We were lied to twice. They tried to cheat us out of our full refund. It took too long. We hauled this heavy set downtown twice to try to resolve the issue. Their customer service phone reps are completely useless and a waste of time.

And businesses wonder why the lose customers to Amazon! I bought the next set from Amazon with no problems. I will never buy from Fred Meyer online again.

Fred Meyer gift card Krogers

I purchased 5 $100 Fred Meyer Gift Cards on March 2 2022 I buy them for my sister who is disabled and she shops for my elderly mother she went to the store on March 10th and there was 0 balance on the card I called Fred Meyer gift card line because my sister didn't tell me until the 14th I gave them the numbers on all the gift cards only one had $50 on it they will not help me they told me they can not do anything once they give you a authorization receipt it's on you then I finally talked to a front manager named Carol at the Fred Meyer where I purchased the cards at mill plain and Chacalov Drive in cascade park and she said call the police customer service keeps hanging up on me playing background music there is no one at Kroger or the Fred Meyer Store that will help me do not buy gift cards at Fred Meyer they have horrible customer absolutely none it's a shame how they treat you I am spending hours trying to recover my money I have gotten 0 response from Fred Meyer the police have given me a case number and they will do an investigation but this is a nightmare stay away from Fred Meyer gift cards they have been tampered with and stolen before you buy them make sure you don't depend on them working it's a rip off I thought Kroger was a good customer service company not or it's just they steal you cash with a fake gift card
