I've been using forward to me as an a forwarding service for over the past year. I've never had any issues until recently. I received two books sent individually, and when I went to repack them, when I went to repack them, I was given a quote of around €27 after repacking them the package still weighs under two kegs and it was over €47 to ship my package. When asking how there could be such a difference, it took days to get a response and no one was willing to uncombined my Packages. Will be using a different forwarding service moving forward.
Excellent service for consolidating shipments. Very good website, functional and user friendly. Overall it's expensive with lots of additional charges on top of already expensive courier charges. Customs charges are a complete joke, way above what they actually are. Luckily I didn't fall for that and just paid the import duties at receiver end.
This service allows me to buy overseas from merchants that won't ship to the USA. Reasonably priced and very careful with my goods
Kaye's support was great. I was very worried about my items being shipped to the wrong address and Kaye assure me that the issue would be solved in a timely manner.
Although it would have been better if I wasn't manually entering the item values, i. E. if the system was able to automatically enter these values, and later for me to review if they are correct
I was very impressed with the care that was given to the combination boxing and packing. Arrived so quickly. Great tracking.

Every part of the package was absolutely save packed. No danger that something will be broken. And I could track the progress in detail. Fortunately I can get the partwork model Shelby Mustang in Germany now. Hence I could change from DeAgostine UK to DeAgostini DE.

Not a good experience: cost estimate showed 10GBP, increased to 26GBP, ended up around 70GBP. Handling was bad, mandatory repackaging was done so poorly that the parcel service contacted me to provide information that should have been on the parcel to begin with. Overall paid for faster shipping of 2 days but took approx 2 weeks. Do not recommend.

We’ve received your wristwatch, however, it arrived in a paper bag, which unfortunately isn’t suitable for international shipping. To ensure your item is protected during transit, we marked it as “repacking required” so it can be properly secured. I understand that you wish to ship with forward2me lite option but because the parcel is optimised this is no longer showing on your end. We dont see any communication prior to shipping.
We’d also like to confirm that you selected UPS Standard Single as your shipping method. This is a more economical option, which helps reduce shipping costs, but it may take slightly longer than express services.

The system had indicated I had 6 months of storage fees instead of the 30 days that was correct. Because I emailed the help desk, they were ultimately able to see and fix the overcharge problem. Even though there were multiple emails and I am 6 hr time difference, we both managed to get the info needed back and forth, and my package could be sent. I went from 'never again' to 'I will use them again!' thanks to that customer service rep's help.

Forward2Me was unable to comply with U.S. Customs requirements and seems unfamiliar with them. The shipment was held up in customs awaiting response from Forward2me. The company was unresponsive over many days. I spent a couple hours on the phone solving the problem myself and then received a notice from Forward2me that the shipment was en route, as if they had done something. An international shipper should be able to navigate international requirements. Forward2Me was not able to do so.

While we are familiar with international shipping and U.S. Customs requirements, in this particular case, the absence of proper documentation specifically invoices limited our ability to act quickly and accurately on your behalf. Our team manually describes the goods the best possible that they can, customs may ask composition and to prove that we dont have basis as theres no invoices or product link on your account.

Bought books from Amazon and had them forwarded to the depot in Preston, I registered which seemed alright but then I had to upload documents etc, fair enough but then everything got stuck basically because I hadn't put the forwarding address in, but the website, I felt, didn't make that clear. Eventually after endless emails things got sorted and the books are on their way. At this point they have not arrived but that is not down to Forward to me. Whether it was cost effective am not sure. Whether I would use the service again am not sure.
