Regilyn was excellent. We were live chatting and the connection was lost. 10 minutes later I got a phone call and she explained everything clearly! Excellent service. UK location.
The staff are very attentive (thank you Joyce) but the site lacks a few features. It would be good to be able to leave an editable 'note' about a product that has already been received, because unfortunately when products are declared as arriving, they are often badly identified and the references are then replaced by random things that make it very difficult to keep track of the products to be received...
Can't wait to see improvements in this area.

I accidentally sent DHL labels that had already been used in Ireland to the UK warehouse to return packages to Harrods. (These labels were already used in Ireland to send packages back to Harrods). DHL said that these labels would not have been able to be scanned twice. So they would not have picked up the packages from the UK warehouse. It was my mistake to send the incorrect labels, I admit that. But Forward2Me keeps telling me that the packages were delivered and to contact Harrods. Yes! The packages were picked up and delivered from Ireland. You can clearly see that on the DHL tracking. The packages were NOT picked up in the UK. This has been going on for 4 weeks! And about 20 emails back and forth. If they can't find the packages, let me know. But don't keep telling me they were delivered. If you started looking for the packages when I first contact you 4 weeks ago, you might have found them. Now I'm out HUNDREDS of pounds. Not helpful

I'm a happy customer of Forward2Me for about 2 years now - maybe over twenty shipments by now. F2Me solves a common problem I run into (as a collector of rare items, as opposed to someone buying new consumer good / fashions / electronics etc). Some private sellers will not ship internationally - I've noticed this particularly in Germany but also fairly commonly in the US, so I would not be able to buy without a local middleman.
For these situations I've used Forward2Me any number of times and the combination of the local country address reassures the sellers - and the ability to choose your inbound freight carriers is handy. I use DHL inbound from Germany or UPS from the United States and it operates like clockwork.
The F2Me team respond to email-based queries and have good support. I sometimes have to ask for special / extra padding around vintage tape recorders and such and they are responsive with this.
I've noticed that some other reviews of (freight forwarders in general not just F2Me) have questioned / complained sometimes about a higher freight cost. I'd point out you are not getting a "raw transport product" - you are getting a secure storage / forwarding solution on top of freight and a bunch of people helping you solve a problem. For my own perspective that's worth it to me to solve my unique challenge.

Since Brexit it's always difficult to bring goods from UK to Germany and unfortunately it's extremely expensive: For example a bottle of whisky with a Price from 70 GBP in UK causes costs to the amount of 139 EUR (116 GBP) because I've to pay double duties: UK and GERMAN VAT and alc. TAX! It's not possible to receive goods on a "Duty free" way. When you receive alcoholic goods it's always neccessary to repack, which further rises the costs! Besides these issues the service of forward2me is absolutely great: The automated communication on any step of the shipment process works easy, quick and exellent. It's easy to understand what I've to do to advance the process. So the duration of the delivery was quite short and the goods had been repacked perfect.
I'm very satisfied with forward2me but my wish would be, that they will offer a "Duty Free"- solution.
