We're a family run business, which started as one store, but has grown to 11 locations along with our online store. Simply stated, we're old fashioned when it comes to the way we treat our customers. I was in the store and the level of experienced support was impressive! I asked some specific questions about the various fits and styles of Birkenstocks and my sales person nailed it! She was very familiar with the brand and fit. This was something I had asked at another major retailer and they simply did not have this level of knowledge. Prices are very reasonable compared to other online retailers and shipping is very fast.
I was contacted prior to shipment with news that the shoes I ordered were slightly imperfect/ just a little dusty. I was sent photos and agreed to accept the shipment at a reduced price.

It took way longer than I thought it would take to get these shoes. I had to call customer service to find out where they were. The person I spoke to seemed legitimately wanting to help. I did receive them the next day.

I only buy shoes from Footwear etc... due to my plantar fasciitis! When I first visited the store, the customer service I received was top-notch! I was placed on a machine that specified exactly what type of shoes would be best for my feet! I was outfitted with several different types of shoes (upon having my feet measured) and I took several strolls around the store! Hokas were recommended to me and they truly are the best shoes for my feet! This time around, I ordered my Hokas online since I already know they are best for my feet. What a convenient experience!
