I've tried fiverr a few times and the experience has been exact the same fiverr clearly hires unprofessional people that can't find work and fiverr provides support fiverr earns money the seller too and the buyer looses money and time no protection to the seller this is a true rip off, attached a picture where you'll see 42 messages back and forth with fiverr for them to end up saying sorry you lost your money...
**I paid Rs **₹8,186.97 for an order which was never executed. The refund I received is only Rs 5575. 68. What happened to Rs 2611. 29, almost USD 35? Is it the Fiverr fees through the seller for the cheating client?
Almost all the reviews of sellers are purchased systematically making reverse payments.
In a nutshell They are thieves! Seller produced lousy work and revisions were worse, resolution request was obviously going to go in favour of the seller as they have a financial interest in them after seller refused cancellation.
Fiverr were only interested in supporting the seller and his artistic opinions, even admitting to me they are not qualified in music or producing. The seller butchered a beautiful song which I was to cover. Fiverr refused to get my hard worked for money back, £361 to be precise.
In my opinion I would stay clear of fiverr when you run in to creative problems with a Narcissistic seller, fiverr has their back all the way. You don't have a say when it all goes south and their interest in making their money through the seller far exceeds your customer rights. You'll end up exhausted, depressed and going around in circles until you buckle. In essence. You've lost your money and have no choice but to accept it!
Give them a miss. Stay clear of Fiverr.
There are some incredibly talented providers to be found on FIVERR and some great prices, but if you want customer service or a company that cares what your thoughts are as a customer, you DON'T WANT FIVERR. They already take a significant cut of the money you pay including if you try and tip your provider and then they make money sending you AD MAILS by promoting providers which have paid them. I have done approximately 150 jobs with FIVERR providers and as such they have made good money off of me. I have emailed, chatted and tried calling to ask that they do not send me these ad emails. On average I get five a week, which is oever 250 pollution emails annually in MY BOX THAT I AM PAYING TO USE...they won't even respond. So in short to heck with them, I will look for other provider like possibly UPWORK and spend some time every day posting so that everyone knows what an awful operation they are. Providers there are GREAT but the company itself sucks hard
*Edit- I was able to get my money refunded and put back into my paypal account; for this, I improved the rating. * I picked an artist based on the image he had with his profile that demonstrated his level of expertise/work. What he offered after I paid was not even close; I requested to cancel the order and get a refund. He begged me to give him a chance to make it right. I really did not want to continue but I acquiesced and gave him a chance. I was right he still tried to beg me but eventually agreed to cancel my order. There are no features on the website show me how to get to my money or communicate with anyone. Links don't seem to work. The email I received from Fiverr did have instruction i was able to follow and received my refund within just hours of requesting.
Don't read the reviews! They only keep the good ones. Stay away from fiverr at all cost!
No matter how much you try to resolve the issue you can not because fiverr is a company registered overseas! Run away!
Would strongly advise any freelancer/contractor to pursue other channels for sales. They can restrict your account at any time and will not give you an exact reason for up to 60 days. We have a perfect score across their metrics and over 10 five-star reviews. Happy to comply with any requests, but they do not provide details. They also take 20%, which is a lot.

Update: They expedited their review process - only because I left a review on Trustpilot. Good to know they really care... They ultimately decided to ban me for offering a similar service to other freelancers, which is AI vocal cloning.
Everything I have ever received has either been poor quality or a direct rip-off that could get your business in legal trouble. Fiverr customer support will do nothing to help either. I guess you get what you pay for...
Save yourself a headache and money and pay a bit more for a better freelance elsewhere.
The billing system is very rigid, you need to enter the right billing info from the beginning which is not clearly stated unless you contract service, and then it is too late. And you will never be able to change the old billing information. So you just lose your money using this page.
As usually, you can find low-quality work where they send very nice work in the test picture and then for the rest is just a low-quality one.
I use these people for many types of advertising including postings on Backpage and Craigslist. They are absolutely great and very cheap. You can't get anyone to do work like this for the price.

They feel they can "cancel" or "restrict" your account for no such reason at all. They state it doesn't go with their terms of service, but then you ask specifically what you did and they can't clarify. I had over 600 orders completed, 50 + returned monies because people don't full read what my gig offered etc etc, and was stripped of my level one and two badges even at a 98% with $500 left to cash out owed to me. I am allowed to complete my already bought gigs, but not able to accept any new gigs. Keeping $1 off of every $5 you make and saying its for taxes? I just don't buy that. I'll be looking for something else to occupy my spare time to make extra money. Fiverr customer support isn't even there. Waste of time
Went to fiverr site to get my product promoted, when i got the results i found the seller had missed some of the expected ad placement locations that they advertised on via their gig page.
We couldn't resolve it so fiverr refunded me. The next day i got an email saying "Your account has been flagged for either offering or requesting a prohibited service as defined by our Community Standards." and was given a warning. I contacted them but they refused to tell me what for, or even look into it and said "it just detects automatically".
Artists advertise one thing, but then demand you upgrade or they will not start the job. Most likely their lack of English skills is another problem. They can't seem to understand instructions. Several artists I selected sent me back basic clip art off the internet that I could have done myself. They are all like this. Out of 5 artists I am asking for a refund from all of them. Useless site in my opinion.
Sellers communicate a ton on the front end to assure you that they can and will complete your jobs / gigs then bail after not delivering anything and making excuses to buy more time for the job. They basically work the system, string you along to let you think your job is being done, then ask for a few days grace and hide behind the cancellation policy.
Right now getting customer service via their website is near impossible, they police their facebook (but complaints on there do seem to get their attention), their sellers are protected by the cancellation policy and that leaves us buyers where exactly?
I'm reporting my experience to the Better Business, Bureau and suggest that everyone else - buyer or seller do the same. After having this issue and searching the web for help I realized the site is known for near non existent customer support and has even had magazine articles written up about how bad the customer help features are.
I've gave this website many chances to find at least 1 good experience but no hope!
My first order I had at fiverr was lower than weak work, I thought I did not choose the right seller or even cos it was cheap deal, then I bought from 3 different sellers who have been rated as best sellers with great profile and sample of their designs, I contacted with the three of them before the order and provide them all the instructions on how to redesign my logo, the final results were shocking! Non of them was even close to a trainee level!
The funny part one of the seller sent me messages begging me to delete my review and even offered to give me my money back ((which you can't really get it back from fiverr)) so he can keep lying about his skills and portfolio!
I've just been scammed on Fiverr. Turns out the 'original and bespoke' logo's I was paying significantly more than $5 for, were just being copied from the websites of other companies around the globe. If you have bought anything on Fiverr, do a few very detailed image searches now, before it's too late and your company gets sued for copyright breaches.
The title says it all.
The Fiverr "Customer service" team disabled my account permanently due to supposedly multiple accounts.
My account is 3 years old with countless positive reviews and a "Vip" badge that is only available for exclusive people with extra credibility.
I e-mail them back saying, that I'm unsure whether I do have other accounts.
I then received an e-mail back saying that my submission is under review.
Next thing, I get an automated bull$#*! reply from another Customer Support member, which was on the same e-mail from the start.
10 out of $#*!ing 10 for being able to press ctrl+c and then ctrl+v
I wouldn't be surprised if they hired Fiverr sellers as their "Professional customer support"
The company simply does not care about user experience, only what they can gain out of them.
Never support this company.
I selected a web designer after interviewing four different designers and reviewing their portfolios. The designer then installed a template, updated a bit of text, and set the order to complete (so she could get paid), arguing that Fiverr penalizes any designers who deliver late. I tolerated this, being a "nice guy", but complained to her in the exchanges. She then refused to make any updates, and things lingered way past Fiverr's period for complaints. Again, my mistake for not protesting immediately.
At the end Fiverr refuses to reject the order, based only on the time passed. I have no finished product, my money is gone, and I have to start over. With a different site, obviously. Buyer beware.
These guys are unprofessional and 90% of the people are just con artists. I bought two products both services were horrible quality and total screw up. One actually published it without ever getting my approval! Do yourself a favor, never work with these guys.
$5? OK with initial simple order being about $40... if... the work was done well. Seller claims proficiency with English - not true - communication frustrating. Cannot actually talk to the seller - communication frustrating. Project deemed "complete" in 3 days whether or not you are able to find their communication. Asked for revision - came back with most of the revision requests still ignored (there was clarity in the original request). No support phone number. No support chat opportunity. Requesting they contact me to help get this resolved for all concerned... guesses as to whether a buyer will be contacted?
Answer: I used Fiverr for my company logo. The guy lives in Vietnam and speak minimal English. I paid for an upgraded package with an unlimited amount of revisions, 3 original logos, stationary and Facebook as well as Twitter page covers. What does unlimited mean if a revision takes 24 hours and each revision is correcting spelling mistakes or telling him you don't want a green dog in your logo, I want a natural looking dog. His response is "you choose font and gives you a pale old lady stockings colour dog" instead of a white Dalmatian with black dots or a brown German Shepard. In the end I used an online translator to translate my requests from English to Vietnamese. He told me to sketch something and he'd make something. If I could sketch something then I would do my own logo. The one logo that I liked was the one I gave him all my ideas for. All he did was put it together in the right format. I was so frustrated with his other two attempts that I said ok give me the first logo with stationary and everything I've paid for. I got the most basic design, no stationary or headers. Did I go through customer service? OF COURSE! Throughout this whole ordeal. I described every little detail. Each time a different person would reply and say "I can understand your frustration and I will contact him". Only to have him return with the same dog in orange or turquoise and every time customer service would spit out the same line "I can understand your frustration and I will contact him. We see he is responding to you within 24 hours so for us that means you are trying to work things out. I want my money back! Sorry we can't give you your money back. The seller has received his money and its up to him to give you any money back if he so chooses. It was a dreadful experience. I ended up using an online logo maker and I loved it. PLUS it actually cost less. I'm now doing my own website. If you have the patience then try to do it yourself. Do NOT skimp on your website. The way the world is run today you want your website and all social media presence to correctly reflect your quality. If at the end I'm not happy with my website I will go to a professional and pay what it costs. Hope this helped and good luck
Answer: I know I have to wade through a lot of questionable sellers to get a good one. Happy hunting. There are good ones out there though.
Answer: All I can say id Fiverr is the BIGGEST SCAM going. Had to dispute the charges through my bank to get the money back
Answer: Stay far away from fiverr. I paid a guy to do some work and proved with third party techniques they used bots for fake views to my site. Yet this guy had many many great reviews. You cannot trust this site whatsoever. Stick with paypal as you most likely will get nowhere with fiverr.
Answer: If you want a site designed to steal credit card data from hard-working, civilized people, please use Fiverr. It is designed for one thing: to take your credit card data and leave you to deal with a mess. More details, reply or search for my previous posts.
Answer: I can only imagine you got swindled and feel bad about the fact you trusted someone. Don't feel bad, you did nothing wrong. There are sites who take the time to vet their sellers and then there are sites like Fiverr who let's anyone to join with zero check on their credentials. The entry into selling on Fiverr is so easy that it borders on ridiculousness. Anyone can lie about their location, experience, education, and just about any credentials. Some of them are really clever and mask their fake profile pictures and gig descriptions really well. Fiverr is so secretive about their vetting process, which I seriously doubt there is anything in writing, that you can't trust it. The seller's level is a joke - I've gotten cheated by ones with thousands of reviews. How they received literally a thousand or more review is mind boggling. Go back and check again, you'll notice like 99.9% of the million or so sellers all have 5 star reviews. All legitimate businesses have a combination of good and bad reviews, most average around 3/5 or if they are a really great business 4/5 but for a large company with like a million or so freelancers with zero credentials having 5/5 pretty much tells you there is something wrong. Like I said, you did nothing wrong. I hope you didn't lose too much money. Their philosophy is "We don't care how crappy the delivery was as long as the seller delivered you don't get your money back."
Answer: The answer is plain simple NO! You will get your followers, yes! But they are all bots, so you will lose 90% of the followers the same week, might as well throw this 5 bucks in the air.
Answer: There is very little in the world that is unique. You have to trust or spend a lot more $$$ or do it yourself
Answer: I would suggest having nothing whatsoever to do with Fiverr. When things go wrong - and that happens a LOT - there is no customer support line to call. They make it very difficult (in my own case, impossible) to resolve any problems. Read the evaluation reviews- they are extremely negative. My advice: find another site on which to offer your services. DG
Answer: I've had 28 orders and all but two were very satisfactory. Most were PDFform building or business card templates, but I had s few design logos for me then used the one I liked. Buyers: it's cheap. Remember that. When the service is good I tip generously then use the same person. I get great service, often in one day. When I order, I add express service and have yet to be disappointed. It's a business model without customer service. Face it. If you want customer service, go to Nordstroms or Nieman Marcus. Do a better job selecting your service provider; be clear in the order, and overpay.
Fiverr has a rating of 1.6 stars from 1,132 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Fiverr most frequently mention customer service, credit card and low quality. Fiverr ranks 107th among Freelancing sites.
