My Flex 2 worked great... until Fitbit banned my IP address and I was unable to sync/ use my device on my home network. I contacted customer service twice by chat and once by phone over a period of about 2 months. I asked for specific examples of the risk my IP address posed and was not given any. Finally received a response by email saying that I should login to a different network or contact my internet provider for further information. Beyond annoyed. Don't bother with Fitbit. Get another tracker from a company that gives a hoot.
I purchased my series 5 Fitbit off Fitbit NZ paid around $230. After 4 months it stopped working. They make it impossible to make contact with them. If only I new this I would have never had purchased. I'm never one to write reviews. I'm doing this to warn others as you waste hours trying to contact them and in the end you give up! Please be aware of this. It's a piece of junk…
I really don't know how they can get away with this…
I purchased the Versa 2 two yes ago because it said it supported Pandora. However, it rarely worked. This year it's working great, but just got an email notifying me Fitbit is dropping Pandora in March. What a huge disappointment!
Great customer service! The post on the band of my fitbit 4 broke... I could not find the receipt. They replaced it immediately. Would love to see the design made a bit more durable in the future but other than that... great company!
This is by far the best company ever. Amazing customer service. I am going to be a loyal customer for life. I bought a fitbit. After years it stopped working. Which is normal for any product out there. I called fitbit customer support and I explained my situation to them and without hesitation they replaced my old fitbit with not just a new one but it was a newer product then my old fitbit. I got it in the mail in literally 2 days. Other companies please take notes. This company knows what they're doing and they're doing it just right. Thank you so much fitbit. I'm extremely pleased.
Dont buy fitbit charge 5
I followed the advice to take off when showering and even did not submerge in water.
It still died in 6 months and I was out of luck since without receipt, fitbit will Not warranty.
They have my device tracking that shows I used daily for 6 months and then stopped logging / working.
I believe a company given todays tracking should stand behind its product, needing a receipt is just a way to lose more customers. I had a fitbit 4 and now 5 and will NOT buy any more fitbit's.
My Fitbit Versa 3 lasted a total of 14 months. It was working totally fine, and I charged it to 100% one morning. That evening it just didn't turn on anymore. I bought a new charger for it to rule out a faulty charger. The new charger didn't help at all. Contacted Fitbit customer service, and after exhausting their trouble shooting list, they offered me a 35% discount on a new fitbit. For a $300 (cad) watch to only last 14 months is unacceptable. The watch was never handled roughly or tested to anywhere near it's durability limits. Just simply garbage
I have enjoyed the actual watch itself but I am about to purchase my 4th watch band.
The original watch band lasted 13 months only. Fitbit do not support their own product with replacement bands so I bought a cheap replacement on line. These are no better or worse than the original band from Fitbit.
My watch is now stuck together with sticky tape.
I found courteous lip service to my enquires at first then silence. I will not spend any more money on Fitbit devices.
Hi Joh,
We're sorry to see your Fitbit Surge in this condition.
Though the band isn't interchangeable, we may be able to look for a way to help you. We're not sure if you've already contacted our team via contact.fitbit.com, but if you haven't yet, we recommend doing so.
We'll do our best to help you get back on track.
Sincerely,
Fitbit Support
Bought this watch mainly to keep track of my sleep pattern, I am very careful with my jewelry so I never got it wet before, even though you can, the other day I forgot I had it on and went to the beach and got in the water, not even swimming, the watch stop working immediately, although there was not any moister visible, I place it on rice for 2 days then place it in the charger but nothing happened. We called the company and they told us nothing they could do for me since it was out of warranty, so they advertise that the product can be wet, but the moment got wet it die, 300 dollars down the drain. Don't wast your money on buy this products.
I bought a new Charge 3 direct from Fitbit for my wife with advanced Alzheimers for sleep tracking. After a week or 2 the band fell apart at the clip. I called Fitbit and support had me send a picture of it with a case number. They said they had to escalate to Tech support. Now I am no rocket scientist but not a lot of technical support needed to replace a defective band. Than I got an email saying return the whole watch and after they got it they would ship a new one within 5 days plus shipping time. Than I got another email saying disregard the 1st email. Than I contacted them again asking what was going on. They said be patient it is again being escalated to tech support. So I am just going to buy a new band because I got rid of my Alta HR for this and really need the sleep tracker for her. So if you buy from Fitbit, just know you are on your own if something goes wrong.

I've had a bad experience with Fitbit ionic. It cost €340 so steep financial investment to start off with. My first watch had to be returned due to GPS malfunction. Second watch died after the warranty period expired. An offer of a 35% discount if I buy another Fitbit makes no commercial sense in light of the initial economic loss and the additional investment in a new watch. I'm cutting my losses and moving to Garmin.
Love my Fitbit Versa, but the watch face came off just shy of having it for 2 years. Called customer service and all they would offer is a 25% discount on a new Versa 2. Purchased a new watch, but had to call and ask for the 25% to be refunded. I have made FOUR calls to customer service and I can't get a straight answer out of anyone! I haven't received a confirmation of my purchase, not a single email about the 25%, shipping/tracking info... nothing! My credit card has definitely been charged. Awful customer service! May have to get an Apple Watch instead.
I've been using Fitbit for almost a year. I was at my goal weight months ago. My versa 3, and previous versa 2, both have a habit of pausing during workouts. This causes my calorie count and exercise time to be wrong, also it loses my heart rate when I sweat. I'm now at a stage where I am trying to build muscle so I don't look so skinny. Fitbit is only good for losing weight. I get no answers to questions in groups, little to no calorie count for weight workouts, and it constantly reminds me to get my steps in even though I have disabled it in app.
I recently purchased the Fitbit Sense. After 3-4 weeks, my Fitbit suffered physical damage not by my own fault. I was extremely disappointed to discover that the 1 year warranty does not cover accidental damage. To make things even worse, the company does not even offer repairs! I have had a terrible experience with Fitbit; and do NOT recommend any of their products. With the price of this product, I would have been better off spending the extra money to get an Apple Watch, whose customer service never fails and who have a REAL warranty.
Worst customer service ever! I have been waiting almost one month for my replacement of a brand new fitbit verse of 4... These errors are because customer service does not communicate nor do they read emails. They do not refund money and they do not offer expedited shipping... I've had issue after issue person after person. It's absolutely ridiculous... Still waiting as of today. I had my fitbit one week it started acting crazy, they asked me to send it back and then I was supposed to get a replacement. I sent everything back in the 1st initial return. The 1st thing they sent me back was just a fit bit face in the wrong color. Then they refuse to send me anything else until I returned that, even though it was their fault that they sent me the wrong product. This has been going on for almost a month... I have truly lost my patience with this company. I would never give them another dime of my money ever again..
Terrible customer service! After many years of being a customer and buying several trackers that fell apart as soon as warranty expires! Good luck in going anywhere with them! They care less about your loyalty or how much you had spent in devices! I called customer service, the call kept disconnecting while I'm on hold 3 times! They make it so you'd give up any good away! My advice, stay away and get an Apple Watch
Fitbit issued an update that bricked most old devices. They refuse to assist the customer claiming everything is out of warranty then offers a 35% discount. Why, so they can do the same thing again? Please!
Like design and long battery life. Has had 3 Fitbit Charge 5 since March 2022. All died within 6 months. Went thru all steps with customer service to no avail. Better to just buy a more expensive watch-fitness tracker of better quality.
Inferior product. Never stayed charged for duration of company claimed. Charge every 1 1/2 to 2 days if I am lucky. Hard to sync. EXTREMELY disappointed. Charge clasp has always been faulty. If you don't attach it at EXACTLY the right angle, watch is dead or weakly charged in the morning. Warranty is meaningless. Caveat emptor.
Someone needs to let Apple know they need to steer away from cheap foe
Reign labor, who can't comprehend issues, even though they speak English, and just read off a script as someone who purchased one can do. No value added with unique, non scripted questions.
FitBit has a rating of 1.3 stars from 461 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with FitBit most frequently mention customer service, apple watch and heart rate. FitBit ranks 53rd among Activity Tracker sites.
