I go into a different Firehouse every year or two to see if they've improved. I'm always sorry. Stingy portions on skimpy rolls. Some of the vegetables appear to be canned, not fresh. Slow, unfriendly service. Subs assembled in secret behind a wall.
I ordered a veggie sub and got a slimy mess. I asked for "all vegetables". Some common veggies like cucumber were missing. They told me they don't add those unless you ask for them specifically. Green sweet peppers were soggy and dull. Clearly from a can.
I went into firehouse subs on 199 damonte ranch parkway on Tuesday (1/10/2023) around 6:00 pm and experienced great customer service! There was three other employees and a teenager wearing black jeans had dark curly hair with the standard fire house uniform took my order and was so quick, friendly and engaging! After he took my order he immediately went to work making my meal and overall all four employees had my order out in about 3 minutes!
Your employees had a crappy attitude bc I came in right before they closed all they was doing was giving each other faces and being crappy bc they was fixing to close I don't appreciate it at all I come here all the time and to be treated like that by ur night shift crew is pretty $#*!ty
I am in Jacksonville airport at least once a month. I always order Hook and Ladder from Firehouse Subs. The service is the slowest I have ever encountered at any food place in my whole life and I'm 70 years old. Three weeks ago when I was there it took 30 minutes TO ORDER! The employees move like they are digging their own grave, don't smile, look at you as if to say "can't you eat somewhere else". Well the answer is no, I can't. If there were choices, I wouldn't wait 30 min to order from you.
I was offered a 2 for 1 deal on Doordash delivery and spent $25 for my food. When I received my order, I got a sandwich and a pickle. Yay me! When I called customer service, their reply was "the 2 for 1 deal was for pickup only"...really? I asked her if that was correct and she said you're not welcome and hung up! I will never order from Firehouse Subs again
Firehouse Subs is great promoting their gift cards but they are not great at redeeming them. The Web site and app won't accept them but will take Google pay. Not all stores accept them, in fact not all stores accept any payment, you have to order from the web site or app.
While the subs are good, the gift cards suck when redeeming, don't bother with them.
App does not work 90 percent of the time on top of the lack of respect customer service and employees have for your time. Wasted an hour of my time having points magically removed from my account and directing me to the customer service line which I can't express how much a waste of time it was. Told me they'd escalate the issue to see about my points being refunded and that they'd call me back but never heard anything back. Will never be spending any more time or money at this chain. They have no respect for your time, they aren't worth your time.
Corporate needs to check in on this one.Not nice takes forever for orders! Orders and service needs improvement. Specially, if you're representing first responders. Which my husband is!
Has firehouse been bought by a holding company? I have eaten at lot FH subs. In Northport Al we have a new FH, I have eaten there 4 times, last night was the worst ordered a Steak & cheese. I got a sub with more onions than steak very little steak. I have yet to have a good FH sub yet. Will not go back. They need to close this FH.Northport is the worst …..
I don't blame the woman who was trying to take orders she's just trying to make a living. I do blame the smart mouth punk manager. The sun was ok. Jersey Mike's is way better. I'll never eat another firehouse sub again. My first and last. WOODHAVEN MI DON'T GO THERE ….
I ordered make your own sub with Turkey, cheddar cheese, and pepperonis only. My sandwich comes out with tomatoes, onion, mayo, lettuce, Turkey, cheese, and pepperoni. We told the general manager politely that our sandwich was wrong and he said that's how we ordered it so he wasn't going to give us a refund or a new sandwich. Me and my boyfriend both ordered sandwiches and his was right but mine was wrong so he was sitting eating his sandwich while I didn't touch mine. The manager eventually comes up to us when my boyfriend was already done with his sandwich and said he would give us a refund and make a new sandwich. Honestly should have done that in the first place and was not a nice person at all. The person taking our order was new and just learning how to do the register and the manager didn't even help him when he needed help the manager just told him to come make sandwiches while he does the register for him. Food is already expensive here and if my order is wrong they should put the customers first.
Ordered Large Mello Yello Fountain Drink + Engineer Sub with Pickle
Cup only filled half way and the fountain ran out of Mello Yello... they just threw it away and gave me another cup and said go pick something else... Nothing Else tastes like Mello Yello,,, and the Coke Free Style Machine is the only place in Canada you can get Mello Yello
When I got home and opened my order NO PICKLE!
Total disappointment
Angela was specifically asked multiple times to not put onions on my sandwich but did not listen in fact when I asked her to redo the sandwich she says I won't and tells me to ask someone else

Stopped at Firehouse subs at Chapel hill in Ri. They had 3 high school kids running the place and manager was at home. Girl at register scanned my rewards points and somehow lost the points and wouldn't give me a sandwich. She tells me she wasn't trained on rewards points. She called the manager at home and manager tells me to call their customer service number. I live 45 minutes away and since in the are wanted to use the points. Now if they put the points back I need to go back again? Ridiculous!and not worth it!

Shift lead and sub maker were extremely rude and unprofessional telling me "YOU DON'T NEED TO COME BACK"
Order was taking to long as I had a driver waiting for me and after over 15 minutes of me being the only customer there and not getting my order I asked for a refund… to which I was told by the shift lead- we don't know how to do them which was confirmed by the owner (I was given a coupon for a free sub)

...so a knock at tge door and here's my meatball sub...marinara sauce, cheese... I have never seen so attractive a sammich in Houston. I WAS SALIVATING just looking at it! Then I tasted it!...It was bland... it looked great but not much flavor. Suggestion! GO TO A REAL PIZZA SHOP!... DONspeak! Just watch what THEY do!... Then do THAT!...Make a meatball that tastes great by itself!...Have you ever tasted Sbarro tomatoes sauce? Even pizza huts sauce beats yours!...by far!...Please...taste your own product and compare to others.
Twice my sub was made on wrong bread. So I know it was on purpose because restaurant workers do that kind of mess. Always look at your food before u leave when you order something. That was poor customer service and
I will NEVER GO BACK THERE. TALIESHA TOOK MY ORDER. SUB WAS LOUSY AND I THREW IT IN THE TRASH. PATHETIC. I WOULD NEVER DO ANYTHING LIKE THAT TO SOMEONE. I TREAT PEOPLE LIKE I WANT TO BE TREATED. PATHETIC.
My husband and I don't go out very often but we decided we would treat ourselves to firehouse subs. We got our food and my husband did ask for jalapeno kettle Vickie's brand of chips that we always loved. He didn't realize that he opened up Lays brand instead. They got got tip from husband but wouldn't bother giving him the chip bag he asked for. They actually gave him a refund for the chips instead of just giving him another bag of chips. We honestly should have just asked for tip. We gave a tip that was more than price of bag of chips. We should have just asked for the tip back, but we too frustrated with the service and the food was really greasy. We normally see much larger cup of soda in past, but it was small. The customer service is what makes the experience and this made a terrible experience for me and my husband. Our mistake we will never go there again.
I ordered on-line nine different sandwiches and a salad for an office lunch meeting we were having. I went to pick them up and I put the order in at 7:30 a.m. and said I would pick them up at 11:00 a.m. I got there at 11:10 a.m. and they were still putting them together! When they finally finish the guy hands me a bag and said there are your sandwiches. I asked him where the salad was and the chips and cookies I had ordered and the Manager told him where they were. When I got to the meeting to hand them out, there were no numbers or initials on any of the sandwiches. I had personalized most of the sandwiches, so it was very hard to figure out who got what! It was a mess. I had ordered a medium cheese steak with no peppers and guess what... I had peppers! Also, there was not utensils for the salad or any napkins in the bags. We order from them on occasion for lunch meetings, but no more! I will drive over to the Winter Haven one from now on. The Manager was the only one that seemed to know what was going on! When I called the Manager to let her know all she told me was that she was sorry! This store is SORRY!
I've been to many different firehouse locations but okotoks is the worst ever 45 min to make 2 subs then get home to find hair in one of the subs that was the last time I'll be going back

Answer: Subway where I should have gone to begin with. Better value better quality and you can see your sandwich actually being made. I like that and I will start going back to Subway instead of firehouse subs
