I ordered six trees from them. So far so good. I plan to order more once these trees get established. Very friendly people to talk to you on the phone.
I ordered a crape myrtle tree that was to be 3-4 feet and plants were delivered a couple weeks later. The so called tree was shy of three feet and had only three to four leaves on and the where yellow. I called repeatedly and got recording saying all Associates were busy call back at later time so I did and even left my number twice but still no call back. So on the sixth phone call I got a gentleman that answered and I explained the problem I had with the order and he told me to take some pictures of the plant and send the to the company. So it is not that I fact that I paid $80.00 on a root start tree is that they do not seem to care that could have bought a better tree from a local nursery or even a box store. I still have not responded to one time. Yes I sent them pictures twice explaining to fastgrowingtrees.com why I was unhappy about the order.
Most catalog tree operations, ship each tree separately, upright with a cover to keep soil in pot and protections for plant. FastGrowingTrees did not. I chose a specific variety (little miss figgy) to keep in a containers. While the 2 trees came (leaves&branches) looking ok, the dirt was spilled out of pot & plant was coming out. Extra care, feeding & TLC seems to have given the trees a good chance at comeback. But, their revival was not assured.

Instead of the two day delivery, it was a seven day delivery and the trees were somewhat dried and one broken. I think they will survive, but since where I live it's not in the zone for the ZIP Code on the site, the trees had leaves and we've had several freezing nights which have done away with those! I am new to the area and just learning, but it could be an expensive lesson! A little more help from the "experts" would have been valuable.
I received the wrong fig tree the first shipment. I called the customer service department. There were several step for me to do to clear up your mistake. (Take a picture of the tag, up load it, and then send it to you). The fig tree you sent was very healthy, had lots of branches and leaves. You replaced it with the correct LSU fig tree, but it was very small, had one branch and a few leaves. I hope it grows really fast. For the same money I feel like a got 1/2 a fig tree.
Tree arrived in great shape. It even has fruit on it. Been her 2 weeks, and doing great so far.
Bought new house and wanted to plant new trees and roses. Delivery time was about 10 days. The disappointment was price of items. Please look at local stores first. I could have saved over one third of my investment.

I bought two plants here - 1) a lime bush which is great and healthy and will probably yield at least a dozen limes this first year, and 2) an orange tree described as 3-4 years and strong/maturity to be "heavy fruit bearing" already. The advertising was nowhere close to true - maybe in another 1-2 years this little tree could bear several fruit. Right now it couldn't support in weight more than two, only formed two blossoms, both of which dropped and will give no fruit this year. It's also lost at least 30% of it's leaves. Customer service asked for pictures and they're assessment was simply that it looks healthy - they did not comment or respond to how this lives up to its advertising.
50/50 is a terrible track record.
By ordering over the phone I was able to use the advisor's knowledge to make the right choice of tree and best location to plant it. The tree arrived quickly and in good condition. There was even a bud getting ready to open. This is the second tree I have ordered from Fast Growing Trees this month. I was happy with both trees.
Easy to order and fast shipping. Trees and bushes arrived in excellent condition and good size.
It was okay until I got them in the mail and opened them, they where cut back about 8 to 12 inches.

Ordered three 3-4 foot trees. Reduced two "trees." They did refund for the third one that was missing. But what we received were two 3' skinny sticks with roots. One has about 8 leaves on it, the other one has two leaves holding on. No branches at all. Literally look like sticks and they charged $129 for each one. Total ripped off. I will NEVER order from them again.

Customer service is great. The product I received didn't look anything like the picture shown and was much smaller than described. Should have just spent a little more for a bigger tree from a local nursery.
I was hesitant to order again this year after my experience last year, I ordered $400 in plants (two treas and 4 buses). On tree, a nectarine) had no root structure and dies. The blueberry plants are mostly dead. The shipment was lot in Federal Express for 4 days.
This year I gave FGT another chance. The Red Delicious Apple tree got lost in Federal Express's system again (apparently this is the norm). The tree did arrive looking healthy and had a root structure. So far (1 week in the ground) the tree appears to be adapting. Well see...
The shape the trees were in upon delivery was shocking! Branches were broken and roots appeared to be sheared off. I planted soon, but any leaves left had already wilted. I followed the planting instructions, and I'm following the prescribed watering regimen, and now I'm hoping for the best. These trees were not what I expected from this company.

Answer: Cancel your order now before it's too late, go to a local nursery and save yourself some money and unwarranted aggravation, these folks are not honorable.
Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
